Knowledgeable professionals, honest/transparent, and excellent competitive pricing! These guys are truly the BEST! I recently had the pleasure of taking my BMW to Bertone Motorsport and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and more importantly, honest and transparent! Nuron took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle in a way that was easy to understand, and never push for unnecessary repairs or upsell services like some shops do. In fact, he did the exact opposite- after diagnosing my car and doing some research, he found that the failing parts should be covered under BMW warranty. He even went above and beyond of taking my car to the dealership service center, explaining the issue to them, and ensuring it would get covered under warranty. All thanks to his effort and honesty, I ended up getting my entire turbocharger replaced along with the adjacent components under warranty--something I never would have gotten if I had gone directly to the dealership. Additionally, there was a separate issue with my engine mounts that they did for a fraction of what the dealer quoted me for. Now my car drives like new! It's hard to find a mechanic who not only knows their stuff but also operates with true integrity. I couldn't be happier with the service I received-- they saved me a fortune and restored my car to drive like new. I'm so fortunate to have found them and will definitely be returning for all my future car needs. Highly recommended! read more

Bertone is top notch service. I just recently purchased a used BMW and the check engine light nicked on less than 30 days from when I purchased it. Bertone was professional and offered me various choices I could make on fixing it including asking the dealer directly if they covered it since it had been so short of a time since purchased. Ultimately, the dealer didn't want to deal with it so I ended up just asking for them to fix it directly at Bertone and was not disappointed. Whatever they can do to help you, they will! No hassle, no upselling, just a company of good guys. Honestly such a trustworthy and exemplary business that you don't need to stress about taking your car to! read more

They are the nicest people I've met. Leaving work, my cars tire had popped and was completely flat no way I could drive it home. It was 5 pm and most places closed but luckily they were open until 6. I arrived and asked for help and they were kind enough to let me pull in and changed my flat. Also informing me my brakes needed to be replaced ASAP and no charge for helping me in my unfortunate situation. I can't express how grateful I am for their kindness and education. read more

I am a truly satisfied customer. Nouran did an amazing job on my car. His customer service is great and very professional. The headers he put on my car sound amazing, and unlike a lot of shops, I don't have an exhaust leak afterwards. He's mainly a European shop but he tackled my job like it was nothing. I am going to recommend all my friends to come here. I'm glad I found myself a good mechanic who is trustworthy and not a rip off. read more

I've been bringing my Audi's & Mercedes to Bertone Volvo & Saab for years. Now, Bertone Motorsport, I am throughly impressed. Nouran was trained by a Master Technician from Sweden & his work shows today. Nouran believes your car should be safe. This is most important. He understands your needs and he delivers the best karts for your vehicle. He is so good at what he does, he almost appears docile. I have a C300 Roadster. My top was leaking and he fixed it. He went through the vehicle found a broken spark plug. This proves he goes through safety inspections. For all you fear heads out there. Nouran is comparable to Factory Race Specs. If you want a little more umpf, or building a race car. See Nouran. He's one of the best fabricators and displacement experts in Southern California. read more

Nuron and his team are some of the best in the business. Professional, kind, honest, and they work quickly. I'd give em 6 stars if I could.

Trying to find a BMW indie is easy. Trying to find a BMW indie enthusiast that treats your car like his own is nearly impossible. Welcome to Bertone. Nouran is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the issues. Car1. He worked on my 88' M5 and with eagle eyes, spotted a few hoses that were a bit dry and replaced them as a preventive maintenance measure. Had an ebrake issue...resolved. Car2. x5. With a slew of potentially notoriously expensive issues, I was relieved that the "shut down" was only the battery. Got it tuned up and ready for sale! Car3. 93' 850. Another known $ pit, what I thought was a head gasket...wasn't. Still pending but don't anticipate having to sell one of my kidneys to pay the bill. Always a handful of classic BMWs in the lot is a testament in and of itself. read more

Car repair shops usually have bad reputations. However, Bertone is the exception to the rule! They do fantastic work, fair prices and so easy to deal with them. I would never take my BMW anywhere else! read more

Was recommended this place by a friend, and they are legit as they come. Took my BMW into the dealer for some regular maintenance and they came back with a costly list of fixes for me marked as critical. But 90% of the dealer fees were for their time. So I brought the list and car down to Bertone and they took a look at it, did their own tests, and replaced all the parts for a much better price than the dealer. Definitely will be coming back to this place. read more

I have been looking for a reliable and knowledgeable shop for the past year and have searched all through Southern California. I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza wrx and have experienced consistent disappointment even with well know Subie shops . Noran and Gary at Bertone have exceed all expectations. They are purist to the core and extremely knowledgeable. Noran went above and beyond to diagnose a check engine light where other shops were just eager to take my money and slap on a quick remedy. If you have a BMW or a early model Subaru this is the place. Places like this are the 1% of professionalism. Customer for life no matter how much they charge their care and work quality is worth more . read more

Best shop I've been to. Nouran is incredibly detail oriented. He spent the extra time test driving my car to identify the problem. He was clear and honest about what should be replaced. Did the work quickly and test drove to car after to confirm the problem had been resolved. Through out the entire process he communicated with me to keep me up to date on parts needed and expected finish date. I took my car here after another high end performance shop was unable to resolve a oil leak. read more

He patiently helped me put together a list of all of the aftermarket performance parts I would need for the perfect daily driver/weekend warrior build, and then did an amazing job with the installation! I've been a customer of Bertone since 1996. Since sold my 740 with over 350 k miles, thanks to Chris. New chapter, I now own a C70 that out of warranty. I noticed that my wheel seemed a little rattled on acceleration. Bertone, now under a new leader, Neuron.... man this guys good. He figured out the problem that others didn't. It was costly but now my C70 drives like new again. But I have to wait till I can give you the final verdict as to ' is he as good as Chris! I have several cars, the C70 is my ( a keeper, as Neuron said), my dream car. I must have the finest Volvo expert take care of her when she's sick... Bertone is her doctor. Thanks guys! read more

Bertone Motor was recommended to me by Hi M Auto Body & Paint. There are so many great things I can say about my experience. 1. Nouran knows his SH*T! He also explains everything in detail so that I understood exactly what to expect. I never told him gave him a back ground of my car but he figured exactly what the issues were and came back with the diagnosis along with what caused it. One of cylinders and two of my fuel injectors need to be replaced. 2. Nouran promised and delivered. He told me he would have my car driving like it's brand new and that I got when I got my car back. 3. He called me to come pick up my car but as I was returning my rental he told me the test drive wasn't up to par with his standards and the engine light popped up again and because of the last minute issue he paid for my rental car for the extended two days he needed my car. Overall, my experience at Bertone with Nouran was truly amazing. It's been two months since I've had my car fixed and it has been running so beautifully. I drove to the bay area and to San Diego for the holidays and I was never worried about my car. I live in Culver City and regardless of how far Bertone is from me, I will not be going to anyone else to look or touch my car. BERTONE IS THE BEST! read more

Excellent service on my saab! The owner, Nouran, is a great mechanic! He provided thorough explanations for all repairs before and after at very reasonable prices. This place takes customer care to a whole new level: I had an unfortunate and unexpected engine failure on my European car. The mechanics performed in-depth diagnostics and presented me options for repair. They saved me from getting in the hole for thousands of dollars, and offered personalised support. In the end, we identified an option that preservers the car and saved me from total financial loss. Considering my circumstances, they didn't charge for diagnostics and helped to make arrangements with third party. It really felt like dealing with a family who has your back.
