I recently had A's Garage work on my JCW Mini, and as always, it came back better than when it went in. These guys consistently go above and beyond because they truly love what they do. They're not just great mechanics--they're car enthusiasts who often track their own amazing creations. Over the years, they've handled all the things I no longer have time for, from a full race engine rebuild to suspension modifications to even AC work. Every time, they've been trustworthy, quick, and honest. I always get surprised that I can just give them a call for advice and they always make the time. If you're looking for a shop that treats your car as if it were their own, A's Garage is the place to go. Can't wait for the next track day! Thanks guys. read more

Great customer service but their labor rate is high, u may as well go to dealer and get a loaner at these prices.

The only place to take your BMW for repairs, diagnostics, questions! Honest, reliable, and kind. Very glad to have a solid mechanic

It is hard to find an auto repair shop you can trust. Both Aaron and Alvin have been consistently honest in providing excellent service at an affordable price compared to large auto repair shops. They do their research to find you the best options and give great advice. We have brought all our vehicles here since 2020 and will continue to do so. Highly recommended! read more

If you are in need of vehicle repairs, stop reading reviews of other shops and just go here. You will thank yourself. A's Garage is the only car repair shop I will go to after finding Alvin, Aaron and Zsolt about seven years ago. I've brought both my wife's 328 and my X5 here at least a dozen times for both minor and major repairs. They are a great family owned business, honest, very fairly priced, and are highly professional. As an added bonus, they are super friendly and kind. read more

As a woman, car repair is an area that is quite foreign for me, and it's always in the back of my mind on whether the mechanic shop I'm taking my car to would be trustworthy (and not throw in a bunch of costs due to me not knowing any better). At A's Garage, Aaron and Zsolt were very straightforward and clear with what work would be needed for my car. All my car's needs were taken care of quickly. I appreciated the honest and efficiency. read more

I wish I found this place sooner!!! Amazing people running the shop it's family owned and you can just tell they have an appreciation for cars. Experienced team of mechanics Zsolt, Alvin, and Aaron the best team in all of SGV. If you have car issues come here! It's such an easy process, you come in with a sad face because of the car and leave the shop with a smile from ear to ear because of how good of a job they do. read more

Was quoted $750 for a transmission oil change. I thought that was fine given the quotes I had already received that ranged from $800-$900. I drop my car off, I Uber home and get a text that my new quote is $1,500. What?? Called 3 other shops that offer the same service with BMW experience. I told them all the parts I was told were going to be purchased and installed and they were all confused as to how $1,500 was the outcome. A's acknowledged they made a "mistake" in quoting $750 but sounds like they were trying to pull a fast one and make more money. Now I've lost $40 from Uber for no reason. Sketchy shop. Beware. read more

Alvin, Zsolt, and Aaron are the best hands on mechanics in town! 100% recommend to anybody who cares about their vehicle.

Took in my non running E46 that had been sitting for over a year. They quickly diagnosed the issue and had it back up and running. They also pointed out some small issues my car needed to get fixed but didn't pressure me into having it fixed there. Aaron and his dad were very knowledgeable on the car and the issues I was having. read more

This place was recommended to me by a coworker a few years ago and now this is the only shop I trust with my cars! The hardest part about owning a BMW is finding not only a good shop that knows what they're doing, but also an honest shop that doesn't push anything you don't need. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection for me and just had a really good experience--Aaron was super friendly and knowledgeable about the car (an older BMW). Alvin and Aaron provided great customer service. They fixed my Audi Q5 in one day and it runs great.

Man if anyone need some good and honest work done on their F80s try Alvin's Garage in L.A man. Just came back from there and this dude is mad honest and knows what he's talking about, 10 mins later I found out he drives a black F80 M3 and over 650HP and used to work at a BMW dlrship, that is always a plus knowing your mechanic drives the same car. My warranty expired and I needed a shop that I can go and do some maintenance work, but trust they know what they are doing and not just anyone that had worked on some lower BMW models. I am mad anal with my f80 m3 and last thing I want is someone that calls themselves professional and break screws and parts trying to take apart your baby lol. Tired of my last mechanic always with these "ifs, but or what if excuses ..." get that shit done right or close the shop. Just thought I share and a worthy a shoutout to some of these LAST OF THE MOHICANS craftsman's as there's not that many left out there lol Will come back and keep up the great work! read more

Brought car in to check on a noise. Prior to coming in, I spoke with the owner and he seemed cool. It was also clear he was a car enthusiast which always makes me feel better. The issue started when the mechanic took a test drive and while pulling out I heard him hit the berm/ramp pretty hard. When he returned I saw the front lip was cracked and the screw holding the center of the lip was ripped off. Upon closer inspection the screw was missing along with the clips. A bit in disbelief I stood there wondering if somehow that happened on my way there except at that moment I remembered I was talking with the owner (when I first got there) while standing in front of the car about how it looks good but it's too low. Long story short I wish they came clean instead of trying to cover it up. Went in to check on a noise and came out with a cracked lip. read more

Highly recommend!!! I went here after my regular shop was too busy to take my car. I am so thankful that I was referred here. Alvin is so personable, a great communicator throughout the time my car was being serviced and even took the time to explain everything that was going on with my car. I have a pretty old Mini Cooper, and the battery finally stopped holding a charge after over a decade. Alvin not only helped me understand what was going on with my car but identified a few other things both items that I knew needed to be replaced and have been avoiding and other things for me just to keep my eye on. He helped me to make a decision to repair things that made sense based on my current driving style , mileage etc. and I left feeling for the first... I think we've not only truly satisfied with my service and auto shop, but confident in the decisions that I made for my car and budget. Thank you so much Alvin! I'll definitely be back for my next car service. read more

My son drove his 07 BMW from NorCal for college move in and had issues with low coolant. I brought the car into Alvin on a Thursday morning who quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad water pump that needed replacing. I explained that my son was moving into his college apartment that night and Alvin fixed it the same day and even did other minor work on the car. He and his son Aaron are first class all the way. Highly recommend A's Garage to anyone and everyone. Thanks again Alvin and Aaron. read more
