Hard to overstate the value of having a shop you trust. First experience at Phoenix was an impressive one. Juan - who is professional, knowledgeable, and honest - was able to diagnose our fix my issue quickly and fairly. Can't get more specific than that at the risk every other customer expecting such good service, but suffice to say I immediately told him I thought this was going to be my shop from now on. Thank you for the time, hard work, and explanation, Juan. read more

Phoenix Auto Care did a great job on my wife's car. Johnny and Juan were honest and explained everything clearly. Johnny and Juan seem like genuinely good dudes. They performed a tune-up, cleaned the engine, and even took the time to wash and detail the car. You can tell they take pride in their work. The car is running great now. Highly recommend them. read more

Everything went smooth very helpful and honest about my car. They also offered me a student discount. Will be back soon if I need any help.

The owner is really nice and professional. He took time to check my car and honestly told me some services were not necessary for my situation. Instead of pushing extra services, he gave me different options and explained the differences for my car model clearly. Very helpful and trustworthy experience overall. read more

Came in for an oil change for my Mazda 3. They were very efficient and were finished in about 30 min! They were very transparent with pricing, and the price was also reasonable. The mechanic Juan also walked me through any issues he noticed with the car, even walking me to the car and showing me the parts! That has never happened before so I appreciate their thoughtfulness. Would recommend! read more

This place has been a life saver. My Infinity 35 is in tip top shape. Johnny and Juan keeps it running smooth and fast. They are thorough with their tasks and want the best for the vehicle to keep it long running. After 18 years with my G35, it still feels luxurious as the first year of owning it in 2007. All my maintenance is done here. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Johnny and Juan take pride in their work. He even power washed my engine after working on it. As seen in the photos, it looks great. I would highly recommend taking your car here. read more

I was looking for a new shop to visit as I kept having issues after the shops I had visited in the area and a couple of friends told me this one was the best they had visited so they recommended I give it a shot. I came here a few months ago and it's easily the best service, price and quality work I've had done. I live far but it's the only place I go. They cleaned the whole engine bay and left it without a speck of dust or oil on it (you could literally have dinner on it) painted and installed a new hood with perfect fitment and completely repaired and buffed my headlights. Pictures don't do it justice. Car looks brand new. Highly recommend! read more

The turn around time was about 2 weeks. They even had options of loaner cars so I don't have to worry about turning it in somewhere else when my car was ready !! 100/10 recommend!!! I recently moved to the Alhambra area and was looking for a new place to service my car. I'm extremely happy I called Phoenix Auto Care to service my car. My window regulator had broken and the window was in the door and unable to go back up. I called and spoke with Juan and he went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, opening the business and meeting me at 8am to take in my car despite the shop opening at 930am. The shop fit me in the following day from when I called, the service was quick, they kept me updated on the repair and their pricing was excellent as well. I am more than pleased with with the service, it was a job well done!! Ask for Juan!! read more

This wonderful shop cured my fear of mechanics! So I normally HATE going to auto-shops, in much the same way that most people hate going to the dentist. So I just stopped taking my car in for tune-ups. This of course resulted in the inevitable break-down. I assumed my neglected 2007 Honda was done for. By chance I took my un-drivable, broken down car to Phoenix Auto Care, and I am so SO glad I did. From the minute my car was dropped off, I was given personal attention, explanations, options, and more valuable than anything TRUSTWORTHY opinions. Johnny (the owner) and Juan (the Mechanic) get TOP MARKS for knowledge, friendliness, integrity and communication! At the end of a short week, my car was not only fixed and running (I thought it was done for!), but it was not repaired-- it was cleaned, detailed, test-driven with me, and left in better shape than it has been in 10 years. (M fiancé literally said, "I've never seen your car look like this") Pricing was super transparent and reasonable! Phoenix Auto Care is a true gem and I will be whole heartedly recommending it to friends and family moving forward! read more

I had such a great experience at Phoenix Auto Care! I originally took my car in because I had a nail stuck in one of my tires. When I brought it in, they immediately noticed it had been making a noise and thank goodness they checked everything thoroughly. Turns out my car also needed oil and the coolant tank needed antifreeze. I truly appreciate how attentive they were and how they caught things before they became bigger problems. They took care of all my maintenance and really went above and beyond. What stood out the most was how transparent they were. They showed me pictures of what needed immediate attention and explained what could wait. They even sent the photos directly to my phone and physically showed me the parts, so I could see everything myself. That made me feel informed and not pressured at all. Everyone was friendly including the owner and the whole team was patient, professional, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they care about making sure your car is safe and ready for the road. I left feeling confident and taken care of. Highly recommend! I will only be coming here for all my car services now. read more

10/10 positive experience!! So helpful with multiple services - when I had to get my drivers side mirror replaced, they were so nice about teaching me exactly which parts to buy online and then charged me just for installation. My friend referred me to this body shop. My BMW IX needed repairs after it was hit from the back. I cannot express how grateful I am to the team who worked on my vehicle. I would like to personally give my thanks to Johnny and Juan who were so incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and even helped advocate for me to my insurance and rental car services. This entire situation was so stressful, but the staff at Phoenix Auto Care were truly my life saver. Since the damage to my car was so severe that I thought it would take long for me to get it back. Surprisingly, my car was back much sooner than I expected. My car came back in perfect condition, and cleaner than it's ever been. I highly recommend their service. read more

I can't say enough great things about Phoenix Auto Care and Johnny, the owner. On a rainy day, we brought my brother's truck in and Johnny and his team immediately took the time to check it out without hesitation. While we were waiting, I explained our situation and mentioned that my own car was also having some issues. This wasn't my first experience with Phoenix Auto Care they had helped me before, which is exactly why I recommended my brother come here in the first place. Johnny went above and beyond once again and told me to bring my car over so they could take a look at it too. He was incredibly kind, patient, and even surprised me with a free oil change. It's rare to find an auto shop that's this honest, helpful, and genuinely cares about its customers. I'll definitely be coming back for anything my car needs, and I highly recommend Phoenix Auto Care to anyone looking for reliable service and outstanding customer care. read more

Gracias , Melissa. read more

I found Phoenix Auto Care through Yelp. I've been looking to replace my 2014 Jeep Wranglers upper/lower ball joints and it's lasted to from factory to 163,000miles. So my alignment has been bad because of that issue. Couple weeks ago I called and Juan from Phoenix answered and I told him about my car issues and we went for a test drive and came to the shop and he further more looked into the problem by getting under car and did some tests and he confirmed that I had one really bad ball joint but the other was still ok and can get away for it for awhile and he was being honest about. But I told him no I want both to be changed at the same time and he agrees but he never pressured me to do it but just giving me facts. I felt so comfortable dealing with Juan and his professionalism I was in awwe about his kind demeanor. While we were in the office talking about price there's a gentleman name Johnny I believe he's one of the owner but not sure. Johnny was so understanding about my car and so personable and easy to talk to. He laid out the plan what they were going to do and ordered parts ahead so they can set up ahead time for my Saturday appointment. Johnny really gave me a great deal and if you didn't know about ball joint service it IS a lot of work and labor intensive for this project. Also when o dropped off my car on Friday Juan said it was a big job and if he couldn't complete by there work schedule he might have to give me a loaner to driver and I never heard of this from any car repair shop and I'm thinking inside my head wow that is great service they are providing. But nonetheless Juan got the job done just in time for me to go see my daughter in OC. Oh yes they completed my ball joint and also did a 4 wheel alignment which handles nicely. FYI Juan dropped me off at home from Friday and when they finished my car they also dropped my car off at my house. If this isn't customer service then I don't know what is. I recommend anyone to service their cars there because they are honest and won't rip you off. Remember if you want honest and great service this is the place. One more thing Juan said was that he is going to greased the cross members and other things that my mechanic didn't do. That's a plus knowing that he cares!! Thank you Juan, Johnny and Jorge! read more

I've come to this auto shop twice now first time was for my fuel injectors and transmission service, second time was for my radiator shroud. I was in a car accident and my rear bumper was damaged. I called Johnny and asked if he could check and repair it. I bring my car to Phoenix and he explained to me what was going on. I have my insurance covers for the damage and Johnny and Juan, his team really work fast with the insurance company so the process goes smoothly. When Johnny told me that my car will be ready to pick up in 2 weeks, my husband not really sure about it, but YES, I can pick up as scheduled. Once the repairs are completed Johnny will go checking and make sure everything goes well. Johnny and his team not only repair my bumper, but they also clean and vacuum interior, tire dressing, and sanitize my car. Awesome ! If you're looking for an excellent auto shop, then you definitely need to take it to Phoenix Auto Care and let Johnny and his team take care of your car. read more

Asked this shop to help a car pass smog. In addition to putting marvel mystery oil in my engine (and charging outrageous prices for the crap, more than auto zone charges) they did a bunch of other stuff that I didn't ask for and tried to charge me $1400. I looked at invoice and among the charges was $120 for putting on the plastic mount for the front plate. I didn't need that replaced, I took it off myself. They also charged $150 to service the cabin air filter. Also I had changed this already myself and only asked specifically to help the car pass smog. They tried to explain that the cabin air filter is really hard to get to through the glove box and that is why it costs a lot for labor. This car, the cabin air filter comes out of a slot behind the hood under the windshield on the OUTSIDE of the car. I asked them to look at the AC. It was losing refrigerant. They said they'd start by changing the blend motor which is broken, it gets stuck changing the temp, but wouldn't fix the AC leak. They only said they would start by changing that blend motor and see if it fixed the AC, and then try something else, and the charge was gonna be $900. Insane. It is a plastic part known to fail and not hard to trade out, under the steering column. These guys ripped me off and tried to keep doing it. Maybe it is cause I'm Caucasian and they think I can be easily fooled, or have money falling out my pockets, but they are scammers. read more

I came to Phoenix Auto Care so Johnny, the mechanic, could help me install my dash cam.
