I've come back here almost every time I needed an oil change and service, time, and quality has been consistent every time! The price I think has increased a smidge (I believe to $75 now). Workers are friendly, there's a small area to sit and wait with wifi available. Rick's Auto services one of the worst places you could ever take an automobile to they lost my friends warranty on his truck his car was leaking water they told me it was his air conditioner to find out it was his water pump they told him that the motor was blown that he need to get the motor rebuilt he called the warranty and told him that his motor was already water in the oil and they denied him his 1100 warranty paid for and that Bobby guy over there Rick's Auto service he has an absolute nut I don't . even know how many somebody could have an employee like Bobby he's so unprofessional he does diagnostic checks charges $90 for the diagnostic test or test print out and then he takes the money and pockets the money this is the worst place I give this place no stars at all and I do a lot of reviews for a lot of companies I'm very well known for my reviews this guy's a joke man Rick's Auto services failure absolute failure. read more

Beware of getting false info from this place. Was having some trouble with my windshield wiper fluid draining quickly so I took it in to Ricks to get it checked out. The man called me and told me there was a hole in the hose connecting to the jets and that parts and labor would be $130. I said that sounded way too expensive for a hose replacement. Looking it up online the hose itself costs $25 dollars. So I took it somewhere else for a second opinion and of course there was no problem with the hose at all. read more

Stopped by for an oil change, previously. Peter advised new tires and front brake. Peter gave me great referral to Tire Central in San Gabriel, great prices and service. Returned today for the brake service and engine check up. Peter was thorough and let me know exactly what he did and showed me the parts he replaced: brakes super well worn unevenly so he resurfaced the rotary and changed the engine spark plugs! Their prices are very reasonable; they charge you the price quoted; if during a repair they uncover another problem that needs attention they will call you and discuss it with you letting you know the cost, what the issue is and what has to be done to repair/fix the issue; and deliver your car to you when promised. I was looking for a reasonable cost local repair mechanic when I took my car into the dealer to get an oil change service and found out I needed some further maintenance and repairs done. I called Rick's Auto Service and Peter was able to give me an estimate to replace an engine valve cover gasket that was worn out and leaking. Peter is honest and he provided me with a very reasonable estimate. He let me know that he would have to take a look at it, so I brought it in two days later. The price was exactly as he provided me with the estimate over the phone. I also had him replace my engine air filter since the dealer also recommended that. They let me bring my car in right away and were thorough and efficient with the check. They made sure the brakes and fluids were okay and took it on a test run to be extra safe. The guy was very fast and was able to replace my sparkplugs within 30 minute which was great as I only had an hour lunch. My only complaint is that even thought I bought the spark plugs elsewhere and I just needed them to change it for me as I do not have the tools to do so myself, they charged me $80 for it. Brought my car in for a basic oil change, they were upfront on the type of oil needed and the cost. Once agreed they immediately took my car in for service and asked if I wanted the air filter checked as well. I declined the service, but appreciate them asking rather than doing it then telling me it needs changing. After I left they called to tell me they forgot to put down on the receipt the type of oil. Writing this review, because I see some pretty obvious fake reviews. I only went to Rick's about twice about my car, having problems with the catalytic converter. I went because it was the recommendation of my dad. Rick is a good guy, he's honest and he helped with my problem fairly easy and for a VERY cheap cost. Other places like Midas wanted to charge me double for the labor and parts. When I go back more often, I'll hope to raise it up to 5 stars :) 3/14/15 UPDATE Still my go-to man for fixing my car.
