Awesome store! They installed hitch and bike rack! Awesome service and great products!!!!!! Thanks guys!!!

These guys are awesome. I had several issues related to a rack I have on my truck shell. Long story short, the staff helped me out a ton, even splitting up a pair of support bars as I only needed one. The bar slot/groove for the foot ended up being to short, so they somehow lengthened it..for free!. They then gave me a free key for the locks as I couldn't find mine. I will always go to Rack Attack Pasadena first for any of my rack needs as well as recommend it to anyone who asks! read more

I was looking for the Thule T2 X Pro straps for my fat tire ebike. The Thule website indicates they're out of stocks. So I called Rack Attack yesterday and spoke to Bailey, he said they're also out of them. But Bailey was nice enough to do more search for me and found out the straps actually has 2 configurations to it. Not only did he tell me but also emailed me the diagram. I was so thrilled because Thule didn't answer my question about the straps for over a month. Bailey helped me out to solve my fat tire headache. I was out the door headed down to beach with a heart beat. Someone like Bailey provides the work ethics and utmost customer service, he is definitely an asset to any business. Keep up the good work Bailey. Two thumbs up from me. read more

Looking for a tow hitch attachment as well as a bike rack I figured I'd hit a one stop shop and try my luck at this location. Starting out speaking over the phone requesting a quote was simple and painless. I set an appointment to save time. I arrived early informed them I was going to come back around the time they said they'd take. (less than an hour) to my disappointment I returned and they still hadn't even glanced at my vehicle. I stayed patient walked about the store even checked out big five. Returned again to see several people walk in get helped and served install and all BEFORE my vehicle with an appointment. That's when I asked a second time how much longer on my vehicle to the manager who then asked the crew members in the working area that had clearly forgotten all about the task. It was done well and is what I wanted but the service was trash. No apology nothing both men that helped me on the phone and in person were nowhere on sight after they realized how upset I was. So if you want anything done stay in front so they can see you. Unless you're a model or an enforcer they won't stay on task in a timely fashion. My experience was disappointing and I will never recommend or return again which I had planned to do originally. Good luck read more

Go to rack attack if you are getting a rack. Caesar was very helpful from beginning to end . We had a hiccup when it came to the parts shipping which wasn't the fault of rack attack. Caesar performed the installation and helped me with great customer service. I will bring my additional work vehicles and personal vehicles here from now on . Thanks Caesar! read more

Great customer service at the Pasadena store. The Santa Monica store had poor customer service. Worth the drive out to Pasadena.

Horrible customer service. Don't know anything about their own products. No manager. Employees have no idea what they are doing. They aren't there to help you they are there to upsell you on roof racks. Go anywhere else but this place. Save yourself money this place will charge you an arm and a leg. A COMPLETE SCAM read more

Great staff. Very helpful and worked quickly to get my trailer hitch installed. Very professional and not expensive.

Great service and response. Same day appointment. Bought a hitch online to install on my Toyota RAV4 hybrid and the guys at Rack Attack had it on in an hour. Would definitely consider buying a hitch and having it installed on my other car from here! read more

These guys know their stuff! Super helpful, friendly and quick. They also have just about any rack you might need.

Really nice guys working there but not a great experience. Got my girlfriend a gift of the Yakima swing arm bike rack and tow hitch for her jeep and scheduled the install. Came back to pick it up with her to surprise her and when we got there the bike rack that they installed didn't work on the car and wouldn't swing because the hitch was too short. They has no idea it didn't work only realized when I asked them to show me how to use and they couldn't work it. So now I paid 175 install plus cost for a hitch that's too short and returned the bike rack. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Nice experience! I worked with these guys to get my new roof racks and they definitely exceeded my expectations. Cesar helped me over the phone and his service & expertise were on point. He was able to special order my product and worked around my tricky schedule for quick installation. I almost bought online from some other "discount-retailer", but reaching out to Rack Attack proved to save me in the long run: Time, Money, Effort, Convenience, and Assurance. Thanks Cesar & Rack Attack!! read more

I had broken the key to my THULE cargo carrier the day before leaving on an 8 day trip and couldn't find anyone that could duplicate a key. Many locksmiths either wouldn't take my call or said they wouldn't do it. Tried REI and Rack and Road in Costa Mesa but neither one had keys. After a long google search I found Rack Attack. Gave them a call and they said they had a key. Made the 50 mile drive from Orange County and got there shortly before closing. They had a key waiting for me. They went outside and tried it out and when it worked, handed me the key and said "it's on us." That was amazing customer service. I could have hugged the guy I was so relieved. They're definitely not local to me but I would not hesitate to make the drive to use them again. read more

Knowledgeable and attentive staff and good prices. Shout out to Cesar for excellent customer service.

Staff was great, polite and fast. Scheduled and they had stuff ready at appointment time. Price was better than local competitors. New shop - hope they stay around. While in the shop a homeless woman came in out of heat and they were polite and had a heart. read more

I highly recommend Rack Attack Pasadena. Here's why...I've been looking to purchase a Thule hitch mounted rack for my 2E bikes. Inventory from Thule is low and demand is high. I visited a competitor last week just a few miles from my house. When I walked in, the store was small and cramped. I was given the impression they had better things to do than wait on me. Even though they my rack in stock, I decided to go elsewhere. I called Rack Attack in Pasadena on Friday evening and spoke to Winston, it was almost closing time but he took the time to fully explain their inventory and what options they had. I visited the store on Saturday and was lucky enough to be waited on immediately by Winston. I had fully researched the Thule rack I was looking for, but he explained a few features I was not aware of. I decided immediately to make the purchase. The store is well laid out with plenty of room to view product and easy parking. Any type of quality rack you are looking for, they likely have. My purchase was entirely decided upon by customer service. I drove an extra 25 miles to give my business to a retailer who earned it. Rock Attack rocks! Thank you to Winston and the entire team for your recent help. read more

Peter at Rack Attack gave us great service. We're a seasoned camping family, but new to hitches and racks. We ordered a rack plus install through U-Haul. Upon arrival the rack wasn't there and the U-Haul tried to find us another but no luck. So with our road trip coming up in a few days we needed to work quickly. Honda's rack was $400+ (U-Haul was $150) so that wasn't an option. After calling several places Rack Attack had what we needed and Peter triple checked inventory before I made the 80 mile round trip drive. 'Rona traffic made this possible in under 1.5 hours. The rack was ready and Peter loaded it into my car for me. I mentioned to Peter a problem I was having with my Yakima Skybox. It was purchased used without paperwork and despite looking at instructions online and watching youtube videos we could not figure out why we couldn't a good fit with the clamps on the roof rack. I described the problem to Peter with the use of one of their floor models. I expected him to be like oh yeah, that's a common problem people have and the solution is usually... But Peter was super perplexed by my problem and offered to take a look at no charge if I wanted to come by with it on my roof. He also said I could email photos. Just the fact that Peter had never heard of my problem sent my husband and me back to square one and we meticulously examined everything we were doing and found the problem and it was an easy fix. Thanks, Peter. read more
