High quality, no frills coffee shop where you just walk up and order your drink and bounce. There's no indoor (or outdoor) seating when I visited. Drinks are standard and I think they cater to coffee purists. If you're looking for a frappuccino or drinks with the cold foam toppings (aka diabetes in a cup), best look elsewhere. I LOVE how they offer drinks in an 8oz size. I really, really wish that was a standard size in the States because it's really all I need. I got a vanilla latte, and it was good but a little on the sweeter side, especially as I got to bottom of the drink. Iced coffee was good. Wasn't watered down and was smooth even without any additional milk/cream or sweetener. Best enjoyed black! Service was friendly and staff were approachable. Picked up a simple iced mocha and black tea on Monday morning. There's no seating here, just a walk-up window, but we sat at the Kitchen 1437 virtual food court across the street, as we we grabbed some bites over there too and they have a few outdoor tables with umbrellas for shade. I was running errands nearby and started feeling like I could use some caffeine, so I used Yelp to see what was nearby, as I often do, and saw this place called Rabbits Coffee. Call me cheesy and maybe a little too easily influenced at times, but in Chinese astrology, my zodiac sign is Year of the Rabbit, so anything with rabbits stands out to me. A little weird, okay, but I'm just keeping it real. Anyways, I walked up to the window of this quaint, little coffee shop and noticed a large printed menu displayed on the door and another large menu posted up on the sidewalk, which I like, because I'm short and sometimes it's hard for me to see a menu if someone taller is standing in front of it. The menu is simple but effective; it features all the classic coffee drinks one can expect to find at a small cafe, plus a couple "tried & true" recipes created by the owner himself. The owner is friendly and welcoming, as most Aussies are, plus he has some really neat horror-themed posters and artwork inside the little hobbit den where he brews the coffee in a witch's cauldron... just kidding, I'm stoned and don't know why I'm saying these crazy things! The part about the posters and artwork is true, and Rabbits Coffee is definitely a hobbit den of sorts... or maybe a rabbit hole would be a more apt description? Anyways. Josh, the owner, made a neat, little heart design on the mocha I ordered, and I got an iced cold, frosty delight with no design, but who needs a fancy design when one's enjoying such a super refreshing & tasty bevy?! This a cute coffee spot on Robertson just south of Pico , it's kind of easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. I like the Owner is there making and serving the drinks. We don't live in the area but came from out of the way to get coffee here after hearing about its opening. The storefront is a walk-up window and there is seating available outside. Right now, the shop is open six days a week, every day except Saturday. The owner, Josh, is super friendly and always makes perfect coffee. Would highly recommend coming here for a coffee fix, we plan on coming back soon. read more

Rabbits Coffee has the best vibe of any coffee place I've visited. It's also the smallest, has no indoor seating, the store's sign simply says "coffee", and has a single employee, who is also the barista, decorator, owner etc! He seems to be the happiest man on earth. He is a cool, funny and enjoys what he's doing. Must be because he's Australian, and you can never go wrong hanging out with an Australian. His specialty drinks are butterscotch flavored coffees or lattes, they're excellent and not too sweet. The iced Frothy Delight is excellent. Its subtle butterscotch hit the spot on a hot day. Unless you find street parking, I would just park in the CVS parking lot. read more

He makes his own dark chocolate mocha sauce and let me try some before ordering - obsessed. After talking with him a few times, we learned he's extremely seasoned in his craft with years of experience. HIGHLY recommend for on the go, morning/afternoon stroll type of coffee! Of course, there is no seating here aside from 1 table so not good for working, however, you should not pass this up if you need caffeine in your system!
