We spent some time enjoying the outdoor seating and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the visit. Once again, I'm obsessed with the aesthetics at a Verve location. They really seem to focus on rustic wood vibes inside and incorporating nature in a fun way. They also have a selection of pastries that you can grab to enjoy with your coffee or take with you. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Alfred Coffee. Overall, I'd say it was good, but not the best matcha I've had, especially for the wait and popularity of the place. I wouldn't wait in line again specifically for it. Also got the banana bread, which was good! Nothing amazing, but solid. The sliders apparently sell out early in the morning, so keep that in mind if you're coming later. A lot of cafes may do matcha, coffee, or tea particularly well, but Series A is one of the few spots where I think they excel at all three. My personal favorites are the Corn Latte and Mango Sticky Rice Cream Tea. Service: They push out orders really fast, even when the cafe is busy. Seating: There's a good amount of seating inside, but it's almost always full. A lot of people come here to study, so tables don't necessarily open up quickly. There are also quite a few solo customers at the larger tables, so you may have to wait around a little for a spot. Parking: The parking lot is small but actually a decent size for LA. It's usually packed, but people are constantly coming and going, so we've been able to find an opening. Series A is easily one of my favorite cafes in LA.
