Ra has always been so good. They have a mango lobster roll. That's always been my favorite but I haven't been in in a while and last two times I went in there. Was this newer roll called the mango shrimp roll I think? it has salmon on top and shrimp Tempura in the middle and some delicious sauces to go on top The green tea is always so good and I've never had a bad experience with a server. Also pretty much never had a bad experience here ever this place is great. It is a bit dark in there though, but that's part of their atmosphere. read more

I ordered a rainbow roll around lunch time and my fish did not look the proper color. For example my tuna lost its color and the edge of it were brown. My boss and coworkers decided to come here for a late lunch on a random Wednesday. There was about 19 of us so I'm definitely keeping that in mind when talking about the wait time. It wasn't busy when we arrived - only a few parties here and there. Thankfully, the staff was quick to push some tables together outside to fit all of us. We got our drinks ordered and then ordered our food not long after that. The appetizers came out quick enough, but it was a long hour or so of waiting before the last person's main dish arrived to the table. I ordered salmon nigiri and the tootsy maki. Other dishes were quicker than others, but some of my coworkers hadn't gotten anything they ordered by the time I had finished BOTH of my items. I must say, for how much some of the speciality rolls are, I wasn't blown away by the food I got. The salmon nigiri tasted good enough, but the tootsy maki was just... kinda there. I honestly felt like I was eating a regular miscellaneous fish roll. Also, my boss let me try one of his viva Las Vegas rolls and it had a lot of components and surely was a massive roll, but it didn't have much flavor. I was expecting some kind of punch for how cool the entire display is and how many things are actually in the roll, but no. I was disappointed. My tootsy maki roll was mostly the same way. I was just eating it because I was hungry. Also, the plates they gave us for the appetizers were definitely dirty; they clearly had residue on them. I can see why this place has 3.5 stars on Yelp and only 4 stars on Google. read more

I consistently order sushi via Uber Eats, and Ra may need to be taken off of my go-to list. I'm mostly and most recently disappointed in the tuna hand roll I just ordered. I'm not sure if I got scraps, but the tuna I received was hacked and didn't taste fresh. I pulled it all out of the roll, and the image attached shows how it was cut and scrapped together. My previous order had the fried rice order, and that was overcooked and basically inedible. The toro scallion roll has been consistently delicious. Just overall not worth the price whatsoever. Monday is happy hour all day! Ordered 4 rolls last Vegas, shrimp Tempera, the monkey one and rainbow, I enjoyed them all. Served gave recommendations on most popular. My son had the ckn teriaki and loved it. I order this bowl drink was way bigger than expected but good. Over all good, fresh, clean as always, easy quick seat. The restaurant is pretty on the inside and service is okay but I was disappointed with my order. I attached a picture of what I ordered for lunch and what I actually received. Also $5 for a 12 oz. Redbull is insane. However, on a different occasion, I did get a specialty roll called the Scallop Dynamite (the pic with foil) which I enjoyed more. I just got over it a bit fast because there was too much cream cheese in it for my liking. Apparently this is a sushi franchise under the parent company, Benihana, so I guess supreme quality really isn't the best to be expected. read more

They lowered the volume of the music and now you can have an actual conversation inside!! Previously I would go there with my friends because the vibe is really cool and the food is delicious (GET THE GARLIC EDAMAME) but it was just way too loud. Now I'm excited to say that you can actually talk to the person next to you without having to shout! HUGE improvement. The service is quick and friendly and, again, the food is so so good. Forgot I had been here before for a girls' dinner until I got off at the exit and recognized the area. Appreciate the convenient location off of the freeway due to it being far from me. I met a friend here for lunch and it wasn't too busy. We were seated by the window and given a regular menu and their lunch one. I decided to get their rainbow roll lunch which comes with miso soup and salad, and my companion ordered the Zonie roll and a lemonade mojito. I tried the blueberry lemonade and it was refreshing on a warm day. Miso soup is always a comforting and tasty dish and the sushi was yummy. The salad was a good accompaniment as well and the presentation was nice. Our server Kayla was fabulous, friendly and the right balance of accommodating! Came here a couple times before, sometimes it would be late at night or early for lunch. Every-time was not disappointed. My favorite dish has to be the seared tuna and their apps are amazing, spicy cucumber salad is also my favorite here. Drinks were beautiful and taste delicious and overall food is great as well! We don't go to Ra very often, but they took reservations for Valentine's so we figured why not?? We enjoyed it last time we ate there so let's do it again. First - we were sat outdoors when we had reservations that didn't mention being seated outside (and the people in front of us didn't have reservations and were told all they had was patio). We ordered drinks off the happy hour menu and questioned why we were outside and they moved us indoors - the heater near us didn't work! Whew! We had a couple appetizers, soup and shared the chicken fried rice for two. The tempura veggies were great, the seared ahi was a little strange with the sauce. We have had the chicken fried rice before, but it was a little dry this time. The biggest bummer was that they didn't honor happy hour prices because it was Valentine's Day!?! I literally pointed at the hh menu when I ordered. Didn't realize they weren't doing hh until we paid and he was like 'sorry I should've told you ' ummmm yeah. Weird. read more

Was sat immediately, very friendly ladies on staff. Ordered edamame, sashimi & spicy tuna roll on the lunch menu. The roll comes with a soup & salad. Miso soup was incredibly done. Edamame was delicious, but too much sauce that was definitely soy base & had a tad bit much of salt. Sashimi was good, the Yellowtail tasted the freshest with Tuna & Salmon. The roll came on the bowl the salad came in, which was surprising to me. 8 pieces, of minced spicy tuna & cucumber. I wish there was avocado too!! The salad was great, but I was craving more dressing. Too good to not give a lot!! The restaurant itself was clean & beautifully decorated. It was almost empty when I went in around 1:30pm. i absolutely love RA , have been coming here since like 2012 and have never had a bad time. the host Alayana was absolutely amazing , from walking in to getting seated she was really welcoming and so sweet. We were the only table sitting out on the patio so service was slower but understandable as it was probably out of a section. Avery , the togo server , was really helpful grabbing soy sauce and wasabi for us. Bryan our server was overall extremely friendly and provided us good service. i was suuuuper disappointed this trip to see my yellowtail sashimi portion ... :/ for $17 i definitely should have said something but we were in a little bit of a rush .. next time i will definitely speak up. read more

Rolls did not match cost. They are good, but not great. They had a new chef in training and the dynamite roll he gave us looked like the just tossed it all on the plate. We tried to pick one part up and it just crumbled. We ordered Las Vegas roll, surf and turf, and monkey roll. Our server was good, but we did wait for 25 minutes for the dynamic roll and a Sapporo. Just to have the roll look like a mess and then found out they are out of Sapporos. We cancelled our movie to get the roll and drink just to be disappointed. read more
