To be fair, pool season was over by the time we even got keys to our new house (Nov1, 2021.) I had…read moretrouble getting ahold of them for awhile. Contact Jackie at (440) 342-3450. I did still get them to come out and check the closing of our new pool. They assured me it was all fine. I only had to pay $70 for a service call. In the spring, I'm having them come back out to reach me how to do all of it for $100.

Classic Pool Service is the worst.  Not just the worst pool company, but the worst company and…read morepeople.   We paid in full in October, they were to be out in April or May to get started.  I understand weather permitting.  I also understand that Covid played it's role.  But one thing that works wonders in a business.....communication! We were advised that this was the only company in the area that was able to install the type of pool that we ordered.  We quickly figured out that they didn't know how to at all.  2 men showed up, 3 weeks after we were told they would, one just walked around reading the instructions like it was Legos, while the other did the work. Then, when it was determined that there was a whole assembly that was not even ordered (not their fault I agree), they made zero attempt to help get that sorted out.  'Not our problem' attitude all the way around.   Now mind you, I had my own guy dig out the pool, my friends and I poured the footers (which they did form the footers, but were happy to bill us extra for because we chose to pour the concrete ourselves). We also coordinated the sand to be delivered, and moved the sand in the pool, so they wouldn't have to.  That is a few days worth of work right there.  We felt bad because we had a 10 day vacation that caused a delay, but how were we supposed to know the job was not going to be done in 7 weeks.   Now after all was said and done, all they did was assemble the pool from the Lego instruction book, level the sand and put in the liner.  Albeit a trickier install I would agree with.  The project that started Mid June, ended in Mid August.  But here is the fun part.  The oval pool is not rounded so the top brackets that will hold the concrete slab fits properly, the sand that they so nicely leveled was set at 4 feet, not the 5 feet that we requested, oh and let's not forget the $1600 bill we got at the end for the 3 hours it took them to form the footers. Oh, and did I forget to also mention that in paying in full we paid for permits.......they never even got permits because they didn't need them.   The funny thing is that at the end of the day, if the owner would have had the decency to come to the house, check out the pool, and make an accurate assessment of the completion, we could have had a discussion about the results and maybe had a better understanding.  But we didn't even get that respect.  NO CLASS!!!

A month or so after my pool heater was installed, it failed to operate and he was here the next day to rectify the situation. He runs a very personable business and backs up his work. We were repeatedly told "you're next" and "within weeks," but dates slipped with no firm schedule. In June 2025--nearly a year after paying--they were still saying we were "next." Key facts: - Deposit (July 2024): Months of "paperwork is submitted" messages, yet we never received a permit number or proof of submittal/approval. In Jan 2025 we were told paperwork had been submitted "yesterday," contradicting prior assurances. - Permitting (Winter-Spring 2025): The City issued adjudication orders and the permit was not approved until May 2025--~10 months after signing. (We can provide documentation if needed.) - No on-site work (through July 2025): Despite promises of a March start, there was still no crew on site and no schedule we could rely on. - Shell left exposed: The fiberglass shell sat outside uncovered for months with no start date in sight. We ultimately had them drop the shell at our property while we hired another installer to complete the project. Bottom line: After 13 months, aside from dropping the shell at our home, no installation work was performed. Communication was pleasant at times, but pleasant texts don't build pools. We would not hire again and do not recommend.
