Needed a backyard grill and indoor fireplace doors for my new house so figured I would give a local store the shot at both. Better known for spas, I'm now a happy customer of two things The Place sells fewer of. The Big Green Egg grill and table looks great in my backyard. They assembled both so set up was beyond easy. I bought the Large model that was on sale so the price equaled the lowest I could find online. As for the fireplace doors, the staff made the shopping experience very easy. The Place has a nice selection of samples in store so we could see various options. Sales process was super low pressure and very helpful. Much like the Big Green Egg , we got an idea of what we wanted and left without buying. A couple days later my wife called back to order. About a week later The Place sent someone out to confirm measurement. It took a couple of weeks for the Big Green Egg to arrive and a couple of months for the fireplace doors. Install for the FP was flawless. Big thumbs up.

We recently purchased a new fireplace from Tim Polasko at The Place. Tim not only helped us to choose a fireplace but also kept in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. He could not have been more helpful from start to finish. The installers, Troy and Hayden, not only did a great job but were friendly and very informative explaining how our new fireplace works. They were also very considerate of our home, making sure the area they were working in was all covered and then returned everything to its original place. The stone mason Chris did an excellent job with the stone work around the fireplace. It turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with everyone we worked with from The Place. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants nothing but the best.

Customer service is good. They spend a lot of time with you when looking through the showcase to answer all your questions.

No. At least, NO for me. I had disappointing experience. I…read morefeel bad that it's a first review and it's a negative review... But, I wasn't happy with my experience. Let's start from the beginning. I got the certificate from the fundraiser; it was worth 100$. I knew this spa from Brecksville location which I didn't like either. I thought that I will give a try for the second time so I booked the appointment. When I called, I specifically asked about facials. The front lady said 3 options and I chose Vitamin C facial- 125$. Now, let's stop for a moment. What do you understand by word "facial"? When I think about a facial, I imagine cleansing, opening pores, massage, serum or mask and at least 45-60 minutes experience. Again, this is how I understand a word "facial" or what I had received in the past. I came to the spa that was located in the plaza. The place was clean, modern and elegant. However, the vibe of the place was cold and unfriendly. No one greeted me, no one noticed me- I took papers on my own and started fill out. Next, my Aesthitician or maybe I should call her a technician called me and we left to the room. The lady, Shawna, was nice and talkative. She told me to lay down but said that I could stay in the sweater bc the facial was just for the face. The beginning of the facial was cleansing. I need to admit the product that Shawna used was enjoyable and soft. After the cleansing, the lady put Vitamic C mask (she called it a mask). I had the mask for 10 min. I just lied there in the silence with the music in the background. The mask had tingling effect. After 10 min, Shawna removed the mask; however, she never changed the gloves so I still had unpleasant tingling while she put cream and serum on my face. Then, she said: "we are done". Yeaaa... 18 min total... and I was lighter on 125$ lol. Ok, so why was I dissatisfied? First, it wasn't facial but acid treatment- my face was swollen all day and next day too. I wasn't prepared for it and nobody even explained that the facial was actually acid procedure. Def ask questions before coming to any service, otherwise you will be disappointed. Second, all what Shawna did it was application of the product... I could do this at home! She didn't do anything that I couldn't perform by myself. The last one was time. This procedure and experience wasn't worth 125$ for 20 min. Nope. I had better experience for less money and longer time. And now, I still need a facial because I hadn't received it. I put two stars for the interior and friendly aesthetician. One tip- if it happens that you will visit this place, check in on yelp and you will get 10$. However, I do not recommend this place or any of their locations. It was my second time and 2nd time disappointed. Response to the business owner: Thank you for you comment. The first time, I visited the spa in 2018, so it was 2 years ago. Between 2018 and now, I went to so many places that it's hard to remember all. And yes, I had never returned. But this time, my bf bought me a coupon at the fundraising, so I decided to check out this location. The problem is that the services that your spa offers don't say exactly what people will get. I was misled by the lady on the phone when I booked the facial. I asked specifically about the facial, nothing medical, but just a simple facial. She had never mentioned about time frame or that "the facial" was actually acid treatment. And, I believe that those two are two different procedures. The first time when I came, I had 2 stimulating facials, what actually happened to be mechanical facials or facials done by the machine. Then, I was misled by the name too. I regularly go to all kind of places, and I do have what to compare with. Plus, I'm yelping since 2012 and I know how hard is to find a good place for the service or to get a decent food. I write honest reviews about my subjective opinion with objective observations. These reviews help people to decide where they want to go and what experience they may get. In all my reviews, I state my final opinion if I would recommend the place to someone or not. I didn't say nothing negative about the technicians that were nice the first time and the second time. The same with the interior, it was elegant and modern. However, the atmosphere wasn't friendly same as your comment back to me. In the end, I did not sign any policies that would say something about taking and posting the pictures.

I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ THIS REVIEW:…read more I made a yelp account just to write this review, if that tells you anything. I was in a lot of pain, very stressed out about an upcoming endeavor I am pursuing, and called countless places to try to get in that day. If you're anything like me you typically gravitate towards a salon setting, just because it seems "nicer" and more "spa-like". What I didn't realize is that salons actually are legally bound by a cosmetology license, and not a medical one, which explained to me why my salon massages never quite lived up to ones performed by a facility specializing in massage. Salon massage therapists cannot legally do deep-tissue massages, which is only allowed by a practice that exists under a MEDICAL license, and not a COSMETOLOGY one. Dee was so warm, I was almost overwhelmed the very minute I walked in the door. I explained to her that I had just recently gotten a massage from a salon in Fairlawn, (Lavita, in which the woman talked through the entire massage, did not focus on any of the areas in which I had pain, and even spoke openly with the receptionists about what crappy tips she had gotten that day: very unprofessional) Dee told me that her fibromayalgia patients were always blown away by the 4 Hands massage that she offers (she is one of three practices in Ohio offering this service!!). Of course hesitated; it was my first time at this venue, I was a little daunted definitely. I had never had a woman and a man work on me at the same time. She left the choice to me, and did not once try to push a sale. It was extremely clear to me that this woman was not after my money (unlike the receptionist in Fairlawn who was trying to offer me bulk packages at a discounted rate as I'm trying to check out), she GENUINELY wanted me to experience something that had ended pain for so many people who shared this complicated disease with me. I finally obliged, scared. I was scared! But OH MY GOD people you have NO IDEA what this massage did for my life. I think the low point of my life was when it ended, I almost cried, I was so sad! She told me to take my time getting up, since many people were very relaxed after this service. "Yeah sure, whatever, I thought, and went to jump up. My head was spinning, I had to lay back down. The only part of me that they did not rub kinks out of was my face, which was the only thing on my entire body that I could feel. Do you know what it's like to feel nothing for the first time? It's something you can't really know until pain vanishes, and then you realize: Oh, so this is what it feels like to be normal. I COULD BREATHE!!! LIKE I HADN'T BREATHED IN YEARS, AND I'M 23 YEARS OLD! This natural high had me so dizzy I had to take a minute before I could get in my car to drive. They got me some water, and we just chilled in the lobby, laughing and talking, these two people were so personable and sweet. They talked with me about their travels to Nicaragua to treat people with their services. But if I wasn't sold yet, they rang me up at the register and overcharged me: the total had about 16% tax. Numb as a zombie, I handed my card over. This woman could have easily duped me in my transient state, but "Oh!" she said "I owe you eight dollars, I'm so sorry, I overcharged you on tax!". She handed me a stack of bills back apologetically. Wow. If you want: 1.Quality, top-notch service that is worth every cent 2.Good, honest practitioners who aren't ever going to try to force you to spend extra money, sell services, or complain about tips 3. A genuine experience that is targeted at YOUR well-being, and not the business-owners' Go see Dee and Brett in Medina. They are fantastic, good-hearted and honest hard-working people. It's been one day since my first 4 Hands Massage, and I'm still feeling the incredible benefits. I was considering dry needling or acupuncture to try to loosen the knots in my back. Now I know that these people are capable of helping me in a way that is entirely pain-free. What an experience. It is like none other I have ever witnessed, and I've gotten so many massages in my lifetime. Nothing compares to this one. THIS PLACE IS NUMBER ONE! YOU'VE GOT TO CHECK IT OUT!
