Working with owner Ron Call was a real pleasure, and we felt no pressure at all to "buy today." It turned out that his prices were reasonable and it was clear that he cares about quality work. We chose to pay a bit extra to have them move all furniture... Well worth it! We found carpeting for the family room and upper hallway, as well as a bedroom. It all looks great, and the installation of a complex patterned carpet was done expertly. We ran into one snag that was NOT the fault of Classic, but the manner in which Ron and his installer, Sean, handled it showed real integrity. Here's what happened: When Sean began the installation of the LVT for the kitchen flooring, he saw some slight scuffs in the finish (I might not have noticed them for months or years). The other boxes had the same problem. Owner Ron immediately ordered new product, but there were similar flaws. Ron asked the manufacturer to find perfect examples of what we needed, but no luck- it turned out to be a manufacturing flaw. Fortunately, he helped us find something similar from another manufacturer. The flooring was finally installed, and it's really elegant. My point is this- installer Sean and owner Ron wanted nothing less than perfection in the product we were buying. Trust me, they could easily have let it slide, and a lesser business might have done so. However, Classic really had our back and did everything possible to help us get the quality look we wanted. The flooring in the kitchen and all the new carpeting look spectacular. It's easy to leave a great review when everything falls into place perfectly. Sometimes, though, the true hallmark of a good business is how they handle things when something goes awry. Despite an issue that wasn't their fault, Classic Carpet took great care of us, and I highly recommend them.

He had all the right tools for the job, was organized, a pleasant individual to talk to, and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. At one point, we removed tile to discover an exposed electrical box from the prior owners hidden in the wall. While most any bootleg tradesman would just cover back over it again with tile, Nate strongly urged us to have it professionally handled so he could continue. I'm a retired owner of a custom cabinet business. When it was time to help my sister redo her…read morekitchen, we were impressed with the showroom of NDM in Medina, Ohio. The granite salesperson, Kimberly was very helpful with showing us products. I encouraged my sister to deal with NDM, even knowing the product was more expensive than the local home center, believing she would get better service from them. However, after the sale was made and there were some problems that needed resolved the better care and service just did not materialize. 1. She was given a price on installing the new sink and disposal that NDM provided. The counter installation crew cut some of the pvc plumbing pipes and she was charged an additional $100 for their blunder. 2. When template was made for counter, she was told that she needed to have concealed brackets for peninsula overhang, and it was $300+ for them. That was not a problem and agreed and paid for. When the counter was installed, the brackets were not installed. getting an explanation why and a refund took weeks. Never an explanation nor an apology. Made to feel like we were being a pain in the butt for asking. 3. Biggest problem and concern are that the granite counter tops have a gritty feel that never goes away, no matter how much they are cleaned. All information that we can find online, seems to indicate that there is no fix for this as it is an indication of an inferior slab. Kimberly just expects my sister to live with it. My sister has requested several times to speak to someone in authority and Kimberly just ignores the request. 4. This would normally be a non-issue for me but just emphasizes the lack of care to details by NDM. Supposedly when the counter was purchased a 12" granite lazy-Susan was included Free. They did make a second trip out and brought the lazy-Susan but the bottom of it was just a rough piece of metal. They told her it was her responsibility to glue something to the bottom or it would scratch up her new counters. I fixed that but could not believe they would deliver such a poorly designed piece.
