Timan reordered and they the came with the correct length, however they were not hanging properly. Again this was Hunter Douglas's fault. Having a uniquely shaped window in a difficult to reach spot in the home, Rebecca offered multiple options; was informed of the advantages and disadvantages of each. A remote control option was suggested. Having decided on honeycomb blinds, the quality and ease of use with remote control and phone app is beyond my expectations. The installer, Gavin quite expertly installed and adjusted blinds, and made sure I understood the operation of said blinds prior to leaving. The end result is a beautifully covered window which allows me privacy when needed and maximizes light when not. I would give Timan more than 5 stars if I could. This was an investment in our home which I believe was worth the cost, as I am sure I shall enjoy the look of this room for many years.

Our experience with Flooring Concepts was very disappointing. When we were scheduled for service,…read morethe timeline suddenly changed from what it was when we signed the contract. We felt scammed because timing was very important to us, but had to proceed despite feeling the owner was dishonest. The crew that was sent to install (Tim and Giovanni) was unprofessional and made a lot of mistakes. It got to a point where we felt uncomfortable with them in our home. When they did show up, we caught one of the workers laying on our new carpet and rolling around. When we brought up the issues to the owner and installation manager (and sent proof), they did not seem to care. It seemed as if this was normal for them. Any solutions were brought up by us and no solutions were provided by the company. We even had to point out a lot of mistakes that were made that the installation manager missed. At one point, we had to facilitate getting our carpet to our home because one of the workers wanted to leave and we had to do the labor of carrying the carpet into our home. When we finally got another crew out, they were confused about why our project took 7 days when they said they could have it completed in 2. At the end, when discussing with the owner, we felt he was he acted rude, aggressive, and condescending. The dishonesty and lack of communication throughout the process was the worst we've experienced through 5 years of home improvements. An actual quote from the owner was, "I only care about the numbers." After fighting with them for a week, the end product is acceptable but not as expected or worth the price. This company does not care about the job they do, they say themselves they only care about the numbers.

Moral of the story: HORRIBLE service, snarky help, called to say i was disappointed and the man who…read morepicked up the phone HUNG UP on me, and their reputation is causing them to lose clients.** Being the manager of a small independent luxury goods store for 37 years, I know that the survival of our operation depends upon customer service. Warm, friendly, attentive - the ability to make customers feel welcome and wanted in our store, even when we are somewhat short staffed. It's important to greet people in your store or get to them as fast as you can. Find a way to let them know you're grateful they showed up to support your business. It's hard to wait on more than one person at a time, but this is NOT the case at McDhurries. I left after spending *OVER AN HOUR* with NO ASSISTANCE OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. Very frustrated and angry, I called my decorator who said they no longer use McDhurries for teh same reason - there is a man there that is the most offensive and awful person to speak to. ***BOTTOM LINE: I will never go back there. A shame since I have just finished remodeling and needed many rugs for my home.

We wondered upon walking in to their showroom if we were a bit out of our league as both the space and their rug selection are really lovely and fancy looking. They have MANY options in many styles, sizes, and prices. A man named Thome greeted us and took time to understand what we were looking for. Despite our tight budget, he never made us feel out of place, in fact he assured us that we could find something. He was right. When we found a rug we thought we liked, he encouraged us to take it home and try it out for free. He loaded the rug into our car and off we went. When I called back a few days later to tell him we loved the rug and would be keeping it, he remembered us right away and took care of everything over the phone. He was friendly and efficient and made me wish that we had more rugs to buy! Their selection is beautiful and so is their service!
