I stopped in and worked with Shelly who seems to take care of nearly everything at the store. She was helpful, providing me with a lot of information and encouraging me to take samples home with me to see how they'd look in the rooms. I came back a few days later and placed my order. Shelly was not in at the time but called me the very next morning to process the order. When I wasn't able to speak because I was in a meeting, she texted with me to ensure that the order was placed ASAP. I ordered the carpet on a Friday and it was installed the following Wednesday. The installer was professional and patient, answering my millions of questions. I would definitely recommend Permanent Floors Carpet One and would purchase from them again without hesitation!

All was well at first. They came out right away and quoted me at $2500 and ensured that if I placed the order now they would have plenty of time to receive and install the carpet before our big visit. Once I agreed and they charged my card the down payment, I get a phone call almost a week later telling me that their distributor mis-quoted and that the new price is $3300. I was upset because I felt like this was a bait and switch since they knew I was in a bind, plus I didn't see how it was our fault that they didn't get their numbers correct. If our business misquoted our clients you better believe we would be eating that cost. However, we eventually negotiated to split the increase and he ensured me that all was well with our deadline. Two days before they are scheduled to install, four days before my deadline, they tell me that they can't get the carpet in time even though UPS offers NDA and Saturday delivery. They threw their distributor under the bus yet refused to let me contact them to see if I could get the carpet shipped direct through our UPS account. They were completely unwilling to work with me on installing another day and gave me no other options. I could tell that they didn't want to do the work due to their previous mistakes making the job less profitable for them. I understand that to a point, but as a I now have to explain to my boss why the carpet is not being replaced it's my ass on the line. Bottom Line: Shady business practices that will leave you in the lurch.

Our visit was short and sweet. We found what we needed with no hassle or headaches. This is the place you should stop at first when shopping for your flooring needs. Products they carry range from high to mid quality carpets, hard wood flooring, laminates, they also offer hardwood floor refinishing and carpet installation. All in all a great small business. When I walked into Truly Carpets I was a bit overwhelmed by all the carpet rolls, but when I told Dennis what I was looking for he told me about new stock coming in. It was the perfect color, texture & a great brand.... AND there was enough for both rooms. Yippee! I REALLY wish I'd had Truly Carpet install -ALL- my flooring. Unfortunately I mis-took 'Discount' as kind of shady, sub-par, or sub-contracted. Shame on me, I didn't bother to ask them if they subcontract their installs =( My loss. Hindsight, now wish I'd had them floor my entire home..... Truly installed a marvelous, high-end carpet remnants in my 2 bedrooms, but stupidly I went with Lowe's for the Pergo & the install. Ugh! Lowe's, what a HUGE nightmare!!!! I should have asked Truly to find me stock, because they had much better quality (12mm vs Lowe's 8mm Pergo stock). Truly installers arrived and did an amazing job. The biggest blessing is that the installers are part of the family, rather than subcontracted out as Lowe's does (nightmare!) The project manager was so knowledgeable, teaching me what I should have known BEFORE I'd gone shopping. My home flooring is gorgeous. When it's time to resurface my floors I'll be going back to Truly Carpet & Flooring.

My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color.
