She came out and spent a fair amount of time looking at the space, asking me overall what I wanted to do, and taking measurements. And then I never heard from her again. No bid on the job; no explanation for a delay, etc. So she basically walked away from a $30K job and I took my business to her competitor. I'm only grateful that I had not gotten to the point of signing a contract with her, because I can imagine her flaking out. Very unimpressed with this small company in a well-to-do suburb.

My issues were with the contractor that was suggested. After a year several of the cabinets loosened up. I had another contractor check it out and he discovered the cabinets had short less than 1/2" screws holding the lazy susan and other cabinets which broke away and also many of the other cabinets loosened. I did not call Iris due to the fact it was installed improperly and that was my choice for contractors not her fault. So just make sure you watch who you hire to install. After talking to him and explaining my time limit and everything, he said he could do it so I hired him on the spot. Our projected start date was originally June 1st, but didn't start until June 12th due to change orders at other jobs they were busy with. Ryan was the lead on my project and they were a pleasure to work with. In the end we had a mishap with Lowes and a couple of things that Mike came out and fixed, but in the end we got our beautiful little bathroom remodel, I've referred Damian's info to a few people, and would definitely work with Damian, Ryan, Mike, and again.

We had to hire another carpenter to re-do our entire kitchen. The glides were junk and were rusted when he installed them. The cabinet doors rub against the wall because he didn't use a filler. The screws he used were all different sizes. We had a lien put on our home because he failed to pay the person we bought the quartz countertops from even though we paid Chris in full. To this day, we have had to hire another carpenter to fix his many mistakes. Stay aware from Chris Passen and Morewood Cabinets. He is not a carpenter. Not reliable nor trustworthy. We had to move into our parents home because our place was not completed on-time given Chris. We incurred so many additional expenses and today are still paying for his incompetence.
