They did a great job on the floor and that's what really matters but after they left I spent HOURS wiping walls, countertops, molding, windows; seriously, hours. The mess of dust that was left in one of the bathrooms was ridiculous, it was literally caked to the countertops. I spoke to others who've had their floors refinished and none of them reported any significant amount of cleaning. If they had cleaned up after themselves as well as they had serviced the floors then I would absolutely recommend them. However, I cannot with the amount of time that I had to spend cleaning up after the job. Update: I keep finding unpleasant surprises from these guys. Just came across some brush spray marks from the floor stain behind one of the doors.

We left a message with little hope of a return call since we had been experiencing poor service from every other service provider with whom we had been dealing. Within an hour, Jon called us back and gave us some options for our floors as well as an estimate based on our measurements and description of the condition of the floors. We then set up an appointment for the NEXT DAY for Jon to take a look. He was on time and professional referencing both myself and my boyfriend who wasn't able to be there by name. He was informative and attentive, taking measurements, and answering all of my questions with patience. He provided a verbal estimate and then emailed it to me later that day. After receiving the emailed estimate, I called him to confirm when he would be able to start and he was able to begin the very next day. He told me the job would take 2 days and it did. Jon and his partner Chris were on time and provided prompt and clear communication during our 2 day project. As someone who works in the service industry, I am very critical of the service I receive. Frank provided excellent guidance in selecting the product and providing vision for the results. The install crew was exceptional. Chuck, Craig and Craig have decades of professional flooring experience among them and are true craftsmen. They were very friendly, respectful of our home and treated our furniture and belongings with kid gloves. The results are the ultimate proof. Before the LVF, we had a mash up of tile and carpeting. We love that now the flooring flows so seamlessly from room to room and really opens up our entire first floor. The Carpet Company had previously laid carpeting in another area of our house and we were so very pleased with that experience. Great carpet selection and super service and installation then as well. I should also mention Bruce back at the shop who is so helpful and friendly in person and over the phone. This is a very kind team who work well together and genuinely care for their customers!

We felt scammed because timing was very important to us, but had to proceed despite feeling the owner was dishonest. The crew that was sent to install (Tim and Giovanni) was unprofessional and made a lot of mistakes. It got to a point where we felt uncomfortable with them in our home. When they did show up, we caught one of the workers laying on our new carpet and rolling around. When we brought up the issues to the owner and installation manager (and sent proof), they did not seem to care. It seemed as if this was normal for them. Any solutions were brought up by us and no solutions were provided by the company. We even had to point out a lot of mistakes that were made that the installation manager missed. At one point, we had to facilitate getting our carpet to our home because one of the workers wanted to leave and we had to do the labor of carrying the carpet into our home. When we finally got another crew out, they were confused about why our project took 7 days when they said they could have it completed in 2. At the end, when discussing with the owner, we felt he was he acted rude, aggressive, and condescending. The dishonesty and lack of communication throughout the process was the worst we've experienced through 5 years of home improvements. An actual quote from the owner was, "I only care about the numbers." After fighting with them for a week, the end product is acceptable but not as expected or worth the price. This company does not care about the job they do, they say themselves they only care about the numbers.

It was also helpful that they had a show room to see products in person. Paul was great to work with. Construction started and ended relatively on time. Near the end of the project we nitpicked several items we wanted addressed before officially closing the project which they took action on fast. Absolutely no problems in getting them to come over and address any issues or concerns. Very happy with all the work that was completed and would not hesitate to hire again. Only gripe I would have is how they handled the referrals we passed along to them. One project they closed on and completed a kitchen remodel. We never received a "thanks" or acknowledgment of the added business we provided them. We also passed them onto another friend to provide a quote and they ended up being ghosted. Really odd.

By the time we remembered that Pucher's was right in our town we were ready to give up. We are so very glad we went to "just one more store." Pucher's had many of the same carpet samples we had rejected elsewhere, but it also had others we had not seen. It also had Claudia, who provided a higher level of customer service, including a great capacity for listening to and understanding our pain points and offering suggestions. Her visit to our home to see the existing palette, review the paint color changes we were about to make, and to better understand our life style, was refreshing, and a very helpful game-changer. With her help we selected 1,638 square feet of carpet that hit all our important points and bought it at a competitive price. The Pucher's Carpet Installation Team was described to us as simply being the best. An easy claim but hard to believe without prior experience, so we were both skeptical and hopeful when installation day arrived. Carpet installers Tom and Dave were outstanding in every way. The installation plan was built to meet our needs for moving furniture; coordinating with our pool table experts to disassemble and reassemble our pool table on site; and maximize our comfort during the four days allocated for this installation. Tom and Dave were conspicuous experts in the use of carpet, padding, tools, skill, generosity and humor. We were amazed at the quality and speed of their transformation of our floors. Through it all they answered our sometimes-foolish questions with thoughtful answers that educated us as well as making us smile.
