We hired this company to replace The liner in our in ground pool. We spoke to several companies for quotes but this was the only company that provided a professional quote. The other that did provided just a number in an email and wouldn't provide an itemized quote nor would be able to get it done this year. Mr. Pools was able to squeeze us in this year. They did a wonderful job, our pool looks brand new! We're now going to be using them to do our annual open and close. The staff were amazing as well. Mr. Pools has been the best business we have worked with since building our home. We moved into our home Nov 2018. We contacted Mr. Pools in March 2019 and were able to sit down, discuss our contract and set a date for pool installation which weather permitting was August 2019. After talking with Bob I was excited and optimistic about our pool and backyard. Although the summer wasn't ideal Mr. Pools showed up and got our pool installed in under 2 weeks. On top of putting our pool in, the builder of our home had buried a huge stump in our backyard Bob and his team pulled it out and moved it for us no charge. I am sure that isn't even in the job description. Anytime we have had a question or concern he is easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. Bob had recommended for us to rough in for a slide we said no against his advice lol. Welp guess who ended up wanting a slide 2 years later. Bob was super supportive and even with COVID and product shortages he managed to get us a slide and install it before our daughters graduation party. Him and his team were so professional and skilled that you couldn't even tell they had to dig in our yard to install it. Bob and his team care so much about their customers they teach them how to manage their own Pools. My husband knows how to check the water chemicals and add what is needed to balance it out. When we lived in California we paid someone $100 a week to that. Now we can save that and do it on our own. One more thing everytime Mr.Pools opens our pool they power wash our cover and deck. Our neighbor has a pool through lighthouse and the last 2 years their pool has be opened incorrectly with no incentives like powerwashing. My pool was built by Mr. Pools 2 years ago, everything has been great. Bob was very great to work with from the start of the process all the way to the end, He had made the experience of building the pool very pleasant. Our pool was fully installed in under two weeks. He asked me if I wanted a rough in for a potential future slide but I declined only wanting it a year later. Bob was still able to make it happen for us. Mr. Pools staff are very knowledgeable and will teach anyone about the investment that has been made. Friend uses this company and referred us to give Bob a call since our previous contractor bailed. Bob was short, rude and basically wanted nothing to do with our project, as he stated, we don't clean up someone else's mess. We understand that this may cost more or he would have to fix things to make right but must be nice to just decide not to take on jobs due "not my problem"! First off, from reading some of the other reviews it seems as if people have some unreasonable expectations. Anyone is going to make mistakes unless you walk on water. The question is if the resolution was fair, prompt and honesty handled. I can say that I have no experience with pools and ever since purchasing a house with a pool, bob senior has been really good to work with. He has always answered all my questions thru email at almost any time of the day, responds to texts and calls right away. The store is handled very well and is very nice. Junior knows his chemistry for sure. Give them a shot, I think they will earn your business. read more

We can't say enough about what a great experience it was to work with Mr. Pools, they truly made my pool dreams come true! There's a huge demand for inground pools nowadays, but it was worth the wait! From the early days of our first meeting until the completion of the project, they were an absolute pleasure and have a high level of expertise and experience. Communication is key during a large project (and unfortunately not the standard), Bob kept us well informed along the way and continues to check in after the project is done. Bob and his crew are Truly gifted at thier craft, if you have the opportunity to watch during construction the well oiled machine that they are will fascinate you. My custom pool and patio turned out exactly how I envisioned it! They work hard with an extreme attention to detail. I've had multiple neighbors since compliment how polite, friendly and tidy the whole team was. Neighbor got a pool through this company a few years ago and since I was considering adding a pool to my yard, I checked out theirs'. Wow, what a cheap pool. Noticed a nice size crack! Pool looks like it popping above surface!!! Metal components to filter ect are rusted out. My neighbor said they are extremely disappointed with their pool from Mr Pools and when they talked to the Owner, he was extremely rude. Mr. Pools installed our in-ground vinyl liner pool last year. They also did the closing last fall and opening this year. I can't say enough good things about Bob Jones and his crew. Everybody has had bad experiences with contractors and it's so frustrating when you do. Mr. Pools will not disappoint. Bob Jones is honest and straightforward. He does what he says he will do. He Set up a date to come out and discuss pool options 3 weeks later and NEVER showed. No call, no text, no email. I had emailed him earlier in the day to verify he was still coming by and he responded "I will be there". Thanks for making me wait at home for nothing. Is this how you conduct business? After calling Mr. Pools on April 30th to schedule my pool opening they told me that a scheduler would call me. Called back on May 10 th because no one called. Bob Jr. says he will put ASAP on the message to the scheduler, and if I did not hear anything in a couple of days to call back, so I did today. Now he says that he's done all he can do! Purchased Floc from them for $16.00. I ask a female employee how to use it and did exactly what she said to do. The product did nothing so I called the next day only to have the same woman argue with me over the phone and tell me what I did wrong. We just had an inground pool installed by Mr Pools and couldn't be happier. LOVE our backyard oasis. Bob Jones is a hard working guy and knows his stuff when it comes to pools. He and his crew showed up early and worked late each and every day until the job was done and did a fabulous job. Picked out the pool liner 5/29 and on 6/2 Bob Sr. comes over and we sign the contract and I give a 60% deposit. Bob said the cover should be in by 6/18. They didn't make it over to install it until 7/5. They finished the job 7/9 and because I'm at work and can't pay them that day he gets mad. I tell him I would like to see the job before I pay. They scratched and ruined the metal rim around the pool after I had just had it painted in May. They also stepped on the chlorinator hose and broke it. I text Bob Sr. to let him know and there is no reply. Later that morning he has some girl in his office call me because obviously he can't have the conversation himself. This women tells me that if I don't pay today they are putting a lien on me. After they just finished the job yesterday!! I let her know that they have damaged my property and I need to find out what the cost to repair are. She tells me that Mr. Pools is not responsible, that I can't prove they damaged it, wow!! They have also upped the cost by $275 from what was signed in the contract. I am not paying the additional amount since he never came to me to discuss additional cost or ask me to sign an addendum with the new price. Run from Mr. Pools in Brunswick Bob Sr. is deceiving about installation time and does not hold himself responsible for damages they incur. read more
