Unfortunately, he did not fulfill what we agreed on. I paid over $12,000, and the work was left incomplete. The units were not rent-ready, debris and trash were left throughout the property, and key items we discussed were never finished. The photos I attached show only part of the condition he left the property in. After receiving payment, Larry stopped responding and ultimately blocked me instead of taking accountability or addressing the issues. As a property owner who relied on clear communication and trust, this was extremely disappointing and costly. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend hiring someone else if you are considering renovating a property. This contractor was unreliable, unresponsive, and did not deliver the agreed-upon work.

My in-person experience was relatively good - good enough that I was posting about it to family and friends with high recommendation. But the day after the move I went to set up my TV and discovered that the screen was severely cracked, having been (it seems) pinched in the top two corners. The crack spread across the entire top half of the screen. The TV works, but is unusable. I had to buy a new one, which cost me almost $200. I submitted the damage complaint twice and was not even contacted. For a company that calls and emails every day for a week trying to GET my business in the first place, that is particularly gross. As it stands now, I can't imagine ever using or recommending College HUNKS again purely because of the lack of response to my complaints, let alone lack of resolution. If you don't have anything fragile, sure, go ahead. But maybe move the fragile things yourself (my TV was the only fragile thing I did not move myself, and I sorely regret it). I will add that it was a 3.5 hour job that involved moving down from a second floor in a house and then up to a third floor in another house, and the TV was the only thing damaged. It was not packed in a box and the movers assured me they could use their TV bag and it would be fine. It was not fine.

I didn't care when it was done as long as I got a good job before winter. The painters did a great job and kept the work area really clean. No old paint chips left on the ground or anything I needed to clean up after! They were respectful of me and my neighbors (both language and level of noise) and that is so important! I am so thankful I found them and the price was less than half of another estimate for more choices!

The cost was $600 which I consider very reasonable and for an extra $100 he cleaned a very dirty concrete walkway which also looks great. I will hire him again next year for another cleaning.
