Went there for the early Valentine's Day celebration. This was my first visit to the Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach, and I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the property was. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and windy that day, but I can imagine the view from the deck and swimming pools would be absolutely stunning in nicer weather. The restaurant is located at the far end of the deck by the pool and seems mostly open-air, so it could get quite sunny and hot depending on the day. Since it was chilly and windy during our visit, we dressed accordingly. We started with cocktails -- "Pray For Sets" for my SO and "For The Girls" for me. While we weren't particularly impressed with the flavors, the presentation was beautiful. For the appetizer, we ordered the Hokkaido Uni and Crab Arancini. They were adorable and the uni was tasty, but I didn't really taste much crab. Next, we had the Bucatini alle Vongole. I immediately noticed that the pasta tasted house-made and confirmed with our waiter, Chris, who provided wonderful service throughout the meal. The dish was absolutely delicious and cooked al dente, though there was a bit too much cheese for my liking. We also ordered the Brussels Sprouts Fritti, which were decent. For the main course, we had the Snake River Farms American Wagyu Steak with sides of grilled broccolini and garlic-braised kale. The quality of the steak was excellent and the doneness was perfect. We requested medium and it came out slightly closer to medium-rare, but we actually preferred that over an overcooked steak. Overall, I really enjoyed this place -- wonderful views, delicious food, and great service. I'd definitely love to visit again in the future.

We had an absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Quiora. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated -- the ambiance, the service, and especially the food. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each ingredient and preparation. The menu strikes the perfect balance between refined fine dining and comforting Italian-inspired cuisine, and every course exceeded our expectations. What made the evening even more memorable was our server, Ian. He was absolutely awesome -- attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about creating a great experience. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal without ever being overbearing. Exceptional service like his is rare and deserves recognition. Quiora delivered one of the best fine dining experiences we've had in Honolulu, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for outstanding food, impeccable service, and a truly special night out.

Smoked Ahi Dip

This is actually our second time trying to go to Quiora and thankfully we were successful (first time they were booked out for an event). Quiora is located in the lobby floor of the Ritz Carlton. You can pull into the area and there would be complimentary valet available (although you should always tip). Upon arriving at the lobby, you'd see the front desk to your left and the restaurant Solera to your right. Walk forwards past the front desk and turn to your left. If you do get a bit lost, I would recommend asking one of the attendees at the front desk. It is weird that they do not signage guiding any guests to Quiora. We had a reservation and they were fairly slow so we were seated quite quickly. I would note that I am slightly disappointed with the seating. We were against the room which was hosting an event this night (see-through glass). I feel like I would definitely preferred to sit more near the balcony for the view and separation. We got: * Smoked Ahi Dip: 8.2/10. I liked the dip it was very flavorful and had a nice smokey and creamy fish flavor. I am NOT culinary expert but I feel that if the bread was toasted it would significantly improve this dish, as it would add on a textural difference between the bread and dip/ * Dry-Aged Bone in Ribeye: 8.7/10. The waiter said this and the appetizer would be plenty of food for us as we inquired if we should get another entrée. He was definitely right, as we were stuffed by the end of the meal. o The steak was flavorful and done perfectly (medium rare) o The asparagus underneath the steak soaked up all of the juices and flavor and was a delicious pairing o The gratin was creamy and hit the spot for something cheesy. o The mushroom side was ok at first, but as it got cold it got really gross (taste and smell). They need to season the mushrooms underneath a bit more. It tasted like very lightly salted bland mushrooms. The service was okay, weren't busy at all (2 other parties and 1 event hosted) and we got there at ~6:20 for some reason they were out of the uni arancinos which I really looked forward to. They said they were making more of it (didn't they just open?) but then came back and said they can't? Very odd. Also the dry-aged ribeye took 30+ minutes. ALSO, I've been to many nice places so maybe my expectation was just set a certain way but we made our reservation for a celebration (graduation), so I thought maybe I'd get a little sweet treat. I did not... bummerrr I am unsure if would come back personally, it was just a middle of the road experience for a supposedly nicer spot.

Wagyu steak

Food was great. Service was terrible. Did not once refill my glass of water. Many times we had to wave down someone to help us. After dinner we were planning to get desserts, after getting a dessert menu, 20 minutes passed by and still no one helped. Finally just asked for the check. The manager whom was very lazy. Never once tried to help out being the servers said they were so busy. Would not recommend and will not return.

Orzo was phenomenal
Amber G.

We went to the pasta and wine pairing monthly event and overall we were less than impressed. The only redeeming feature was the waitstaff was great. The waitstaff made me want to return. We did the 530 seating. We were directly in the sun the entire time until we asked to move. I was literally melting in to the leather cushion seat. The wines were very small pours, maybe equalling a small glass between all five pours for $49. It was not worth the price but the choices were very well paired. If we went again we would order by the glass, like the lady next to us. The prices per glass were not bad and the sparkling Pinot noir we had was lovely and only $18. The food was just ok, except the orzo. I wish that dish was on the menu. It was stellar. I looked forward to the carbonara but it was chewy and fishy. The price of $79 was not bad for the five courses. The timing of the pours versus the food was off for such small pours. By the time you got food, the wine was either gone or hot from being directly in the sun.

Late review (visited in December 2025) my love took me here on a surprise date night + an early birthday celebration for him. Came for dinner and we enjoyed the night view. Excellent service, excellent staff. The food was so good we said we'd come back from the mainland just to eat here again. All of the cocktails we had were delicious, perfectly balanced. Good plate portions, shareable, but enough to enjoy on your own too.

Was surprised for my birthday to eat at this breathtaking amazing place with my family. The staff were so polite and welcoming and the food and service were superb. Attention to detail was on point.

Celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary!

Sweet, indeed! Last night we celebrated our 27th Anniversary at this beautiful outdoor dining for the FIRST time in the Ritz-Carlton in Waikiki. The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating especially our hostess, server Chris and manager Preston. With open sky you can enjoy the Waikiki scenery and Friday fireworks. The menu was short but spot on taste and creativity especially with my uni pasta which included crab. Chris made special accommodations with my cuisine since Im allergic to crab which I am grateful. Loved that my pasta was Al dente and the creamy sauce was just right- smooth and flavorful and the uni added that special touch- "onolicisious", indeed! It was hard to save some for our youngest son to try later. My hubby had the short rib with lentils and veggies. It was so tender and full of incredible flavors that I had eaten 1/3 of his plate (yes, it was that "ono" (delicious)! Since we don't drink (much), we didn't have a cocktail/mocktail so this round we just chilled and enjoyed the view and food. They do have a full menu of incredible spirits so this a great place for cocktail hour with sunsets, beautiful skies and cool nights under the stars. Price point is expected since it is located in the Ritz-Carlton but not super crazy like other places I've been. It's a casual yet stylish (so no come with your bikinis, slippahs and t-shirt). Dress upscale casual and you will have an incredible and joyful time. By the way, check out their sister restaurant on the same floor for a more hearty meal and incredible dessert. Manager Preston escorted us there to ensure we got a sweet table to sample their yummy- Hashi-gori....you won't be disappointed! Bon Appetito!

Stunning views because the design of the patio / building construction is superb and gives you an unobstructed skyline/beach cityscape. The way they built the patio is like an infinity pool where you are seated at the "edge" of the patio in the front section furthest away from the hotel. Food was very good and service was great, very on par with the Ritz Carlton experience. Would def come back to eat here if I come back to Waikiki. b

Not at the bar...but a view from the Ritz.

The house old fashioned and buratta pupu were the perfect pau hana treat! A beautiful sunset view sitting at a high top table, great conversation, and the old fashioned here is really quite good. While the sun goes down, you are sitting directly in it, so be prepared. It is nice and quiet up at this outdoor area, Quiora is situated outdoors very nicely at the Ritz Waikiki over looking rooftops and the ocean in the distance. Dressy casual. Great service. Small but great menu options for pau hana. A couple of nice wine options but my friend and I both chose a cocktail. The buratta with arugula had a really nice, light dressing and was very delicious and refreshing. I was having such a nice time, other than our selfies, I forgot to snap photos of the food and bevvies, and only have one other to share .

Sunset!!

Absolutely, amazing wonderful, cocktails, wonderful sunset wonderful food, wine, etc. definitely definitely amazing. Plus, they validate and not charge for parking.

Never seen a $6 prep martini extra charge before?

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for my 40th birthday and hosted a dinner for ten friends at Quiora. To start with the positives: our server, Kennedy, was wonderful. He was warm, attentive, and offered great recommendations for the table. We especially enjoyed the arancini, ahi dip, uni pasta, and horchata trifle. Those were standouts. A few friends who ordered the pappardelle felt it could have used more seasoning, but overall the food was solid. However, there were several aspects that were frustrating. I don't mind paying higher prices at a luxury property, but I was surprised by the extra fees that appeared on our bill. For example, there was a $6 "martini upcharge" added to each $16 martini. Since we ordered several, it would have been helpful to be informed of this beforehand. We were also charged $6 each for sides of sauce and Parmesan cheese, which felt excessive. Ultimately, the total came out to over $150 per person, and the value didn't match that price point. We also encountered issues prior to our reservation. We originally booked for nine guests and asked to add one more when a friend flew in to surprise me. The restaurant told us that increasing the party size meant we would need to submit everyone's orders in advance. I didn't want to ask my guests to do that, especially for just one additional person. The back-and-forth over this became more frustrating than it needed to be, and honestly made me regret choosing the restaurant. Had I not put down a deposit I would have tried to change the venue at this point. When we arrived, the staff still seemed flustered that our party size had changed, which didn't create a welcoming atmosphere. For the level of pricing and the setting, I expected a more accommodating and seamless experience.

Came here twice for the lunch service, both times were excellent. It appears that there aren't a lot of people that died here for lunch, but that's what attracts me to this place. You can have a really relaxing meal with friends and not feel like you have to hurry up and eat and leave. We actually spent almost 3 hours here and the waiter didn't seem to mind the smoked ahi dip was a great way to start our mail. The pasta are house made and delicious. Valet parking is complementary for four hours.

Any gluten free options and fixed menu for dinner?

Is there self parking?

Believe parking is valet only. There was a ticket for a 4hr validation at the restaurant.

Is the business lunch pre-fixe menu available daily or only on weekdays?

Business lunch is $25 Pre-fixed but you can still order from their regular menu. I can't confirm if they have it during the weekends. Since it's called business meeting lunch I would think it's for the weekdays only.

Do you offer gluten free pasta?

I didn't see it being offered on the menu or mentioned anywhere

If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.
