I used to own a boba shop and visited many Quicklys. This Quickly is slightly different in that they serve specialty teas. I also noticed that there was always someone visiting. The drink and food prices are also very reasonable. The staff are very nice and helpful. The cafe is inviting. A great place to hang out. They have a unique drink menu as well. Happy boba! This is my rating system to help you gauge my ratings Anything under three stars is not worth mentioning. Meh. 3 Stars - Good overall. Some aspects are above the notch: food, service, and or ambiance. Worthy of a visit. 4 Stars - Exceptional, short of perfect. 5 Stars - Perfect in all aspects. Food quality, Service, Ambiance

Nice place for children and adults to enjoy drinks and food me en my family really enjoyed.!

this is a large jasmine milk tea with EXTRA honey boba added. :( not a lot of boba even after I paid for extra.

The online ordering system is easy to use, and pick up is simple. However, I still have a major gripe about the scarce amount of boba put in the tea. This time I paid for extra boba, but there's barely any; it barely reaches the amount in a normal boba milk tea elsewhere. But hey, they have an advantage because there's no other nearby boba shop.

I would like to update my prior review. I returned to this location to quench my bubble tea craving. I'm pretty much predictable in terms of my order. I get the medium size black milk tea with lychee gel and boba with 30% sugar and less ice for a little more than $4. All in all, their tea is tasty but not mind-blowing. The boba were a bit hard. That would be my point of critique. If the thought of driving outside of Durham is too difficult, you're hangry for bubble tea, and you're looking for a place to study, this place is for you! However, if you are a bubble tea connoisseur, then this may be average from your perspective. I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because the service is prompt and cashier seemed friendly. In addition, they do not accept cash only card!

Some Boba shops make their milk tea THICKLY Some make their fruit drinks sweet and SICKLY Some get their tea from PIGGLY WIGGLY But you'll find good Boba drinks at QUICKLY Don't blame me if your sisters PICK ME Don't blame me if your girlfriends LICK ME Not my fault if your boyfriends want to D**K ME Anyway, wanna go for Boba at QUICKLY? WHAT Quickly is the nickname of most boys I know. And we're talking less than 60 seconds. I know, right. I thought Gone In 60 Seconds was a Nic Cage movie, it's not. It's a descriptive for 95% of men. What a shame. I love this boba shop, especially because they're open late at night, and have really lovely owners and employees. Right up until midnight, they'll serve you some Boba, in fact. Super cute people and a great space to hang out when everything else is closed in the way of Boba. The only problem is, much like every other Quickly, location the drinks are just not very good. I don't know how I'm going to find something I really like because almost everything I've had from these chains leaves a lot to be desired. But due to the late night hours, the very friendly people, and the great decor, I'm happy to give this shop 5 stars.

I love boba and have been frequenting Quickly Tea House since I moved to Durham! They have a wide variety of teas and snacks and are reasonably priced. I went out of my comfort zone once and tried a flavored boba that tasted like cough syrup. Since then I stick to Taro Milk Tea and I'm always pleased! Service is usually quick and efficient. Today I got Taro Milk Tea and sweet potato fries! Fries are perfect and not too greasy. Parking is very limited, there is a small lot to the right of the store, but I've never had trouble getting a spot. The ambiance is a little dark and you currently can't sit inside for Covid reasons so it's to-go only.

Came in on a weekday, no lines and friendly staff. The menu is on the wall, they have a lot of great combinations! I was happy how refreshing and fresh our drinks were. I recommend visiting this spot if you're in the area.

went here on a random tuesday, place is so cute and sells really cute stuff, i only really came for the boba, it was actually really good, i usually get matcha with mango and it was super good when i tried it from here!!

Durham doesn't have that many boba places compared to chapel hill. This is my to go place if I want boba and is in Durham. I think the drinks here are okay. Probably Bc I am not that addicted to boba. I do love the popcorn chicken from here esp they make it fresh and hot. Currently no dine in services available. Limited seatings outside. Location has always been wacky but it's Durham I guess lol. Parking is limited but I haven't had trouble finding spots. Also why is the sanitation score so low only 88?

What's the best way to start off the new year? With a buttload of boba tea! I ordered 12 teas for me and my colleagues at Duke University, which of course they chose their own flavors *not pictured as it was all boxed up and quickly delivered, pun intended* Yin and Yang on point at 75% sugar and added grass jelly. The passionfruit slush at 100% sugar was great, but there were clumps of ice present, which my girlfriend said was unfortunate, but I assume it had to be from carrying out all the way back home. Bottom line: Yin and Yang is still my favorite. Everyone got their orders correct, and happy with their drinks!

The ambience is beautiful and cozy, and the customer service was so warm and attentive. We sat upstairs in the izakaya during happy hour (Tuesday). The standout for me was the crispy tofu bao bun. The sauce in it was SO good, I honestly wish I had ordered more, especially since it was only $4. We also tried oysters for the first time (they were around $1.50-$1.99 during happy hour), and they were surprisingly delicious. We tried a few grilled skewers, shrimp, eggplant, and tofu, which were good, but not my absolute favorites of the night. The best was the egg sando. It might sound simple, but it was incredible, honestly tasted just like the ones I had in Japan, if not better. And the fries?? Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There's not a ton of seating, but we got a table quickly. The service was quick, and even though the place was small, it felt more cozy than cramped. I liked having the menu on the wall! They had two vegan options, and my partner & I both got the Biang Biang noodles. It was good, and perhaps even better the next day (the serving was big enough that I couldn't finish it). My sister got the Jjajiang Mian & absolutely loved it. This was a very positive experience, but not mindblowing--I think that the hype around the "M" restaurants perhaps raised my expectations a bit too much. It's also possible that their non-vegan options are stronger than their vegan options. Overall, though, very yummy, the prices are very reasonable for Durham ($16 for the Biang Biang noodles), and I would come back & try the veggie curry if given the chance.

Not so positive: parking can be tough, the lot is always packed. I think it is a shared lot because the restaurant was pretty empty during my visit today. i have visited twice now (jan 2026 & may 2026) and i order a decent amount of food for the table to share. Both times, every plate has been room temperature. Thats super disappointing especially since the Korean dishes we ordered are typically served very hot (and in clay pots). It would be fine if my food was even remotely warm, but that hasnt been the case for either of my visits. Our food took a very long time to come out, which would have also been fine had the food came out hot, so i am wondering why it took so long to send out cold food? Also, for some reason there was a strong odor of some sort permeating through the beer hall. I couldnt place what it was but it was not pleasant for me. I feel like i am rarely sensitive to smells but i had to spritz a perfume to mask it. It might've just been a cleaning product or something, not sure. Something to note is that you have to pay for the banchan here. This is typically served with your meals for no additional cost as they are considered 'essential' to your meal. So a charge for them was surprising for me.
