I do not recommend this place for boba. I've been here a few times and the drinks were very watery (zero actual flavor) and super disgustingly sweet. Even when I ask for less sugar, it was still too sweet! The few times I've been here, I only finish maybe a fourth of the drink and throw away the rest. I am no newbie when it comes to quickly's. I use to visit these boba shops as they are found all over SF... I have in the last several years gone to the downtown location as they have great deals....This location has won me over! Like the other franchises...This place has great deals on coffee/milk tea/jasmine milk tea and taro milk tea (1.49 for a regular! can't be beat) The taste is consistent too...$.50 for boba though... I like this place because its clean, roomy and the customer service is great. I ordered 3 drinks, of which two for now and 1 for to go when i leave. The girl who helped me left and the message about my last drink was somehow....forgotten. First of all. I'm going to have to give the spot a fair chair. The only reason why is because it's not like a regular Quickly Boba... where it's a little bit more trendy and not quite a mom-and-pop shop. This location is still a mom-and-pop shop and they've got great Chinese food as well as all of the other snack items that most Quickly's serve. The main reason why this location does not get a lot of traffic... because it is placed in a poor shopping center location that does not get much business. DoorDash yelp and Postmates are what's keeping this location alive. Many people do not know that there is a Quickly over here at Mack and Franklin... Most people will drive way far away to go to a close one. The only thing that bothered me was when the security guard was passing by the restaurant he noticed me walking in and he asked me had I ever eaten here before. I said no I haven't but I'm going to try. He just plain and simply said DON'T!!! I'm glad I didn't listen to him. My experience was just fine!!! read more

I have been to countless quickly's in San Francisco, but this sac location is up top. Although sometimes the wait for drinks is a little lengthy, I don't mind. They more than make up for it with their friendly service and delicious food. The owner I think it was, checked up on us multiple times and made conversation. He really knows how to provide great customer service. Anyhow, about the food: fried tofu-bomb. crisp on the outside, super soft on the inside. The orange chicken, chow mein and mango delight were good as well. I just wish this place was closer to my house, but the location is the only downside. There are numerous selections to choose from (the menu is literally huge), clean, cheap, close to crc (good place to study in the afternoon), so I will definitely be back! ps: please open up an Elk Grove location soon. read more

I've always loved Quicklys for their boba drinks and delicious snacks. When they opened this franchise in my area about 2 years ago I was so excited because I no longer had to go downtown for them. They started off rusty so I feared losing their accessibility at one point; but fortunately, slowly but surely they improved in speed and customer service and were able to sustain themselves. Since then, I have been a loyal customer, mainly ordering their jasmine milk tea, popcorn chicken, and egg puffs. I like my egg puffs soft rather than crispy so I make sure to make that known when I order otherwise it will be made crispy to the point where it is almost burnt. My siblings love their taro and thai milk teas most. They currently have a longan tea special for only $1.50. It was so cheap I decided to get it and it did not dissappoint. My siblings also enjoy their chinese food combos. I'd personally eat chinese food elsewhere because they are not as delicious here compared to chinese restaurants but I like how the option is available incase you are hanging out there and happen to be hungry. I enjoy their free wi-fi, karaoke, and Asian pop videos that play on their tv occassionally. They also provide games for their customers to play. It's a good place to get some work done with a few scattered outlets to power in laptops; however they can get busy and loud so if you need silence to fully concentrate, it may not be the place for you. I don't like how they will charge you if you spend less than $10 and use your card, so make sure you come with cash to avoid the additional fee. Overall this quicklys is a good chill hangout spot for various ages, although predominantly young adults. The workers are nice. The drinks are refreshing. And the snacks, satiating. Oh and 1 more thing! - make sure to get a stamp card because once you buy 10 drinks, you get 1 free!!! read more

***REVISED! UPDATED CONS # 2*** This is a boba chain. All the locations I've visited have been consistently sucky. Let's begin, shall we? Pros: - 1 star for effort. Takoyaki is decent in taste, texture and quality lacks. I taste a lot of flour. - Drinks are decent. If you're a boba chain and mess up on boba drinks...there's something wrong with you. And...that's it for pros. Cons: 1) Utensils/straws are left out in the open at the sauce tray where it is dusty and dirty. 2) Sweet potato fries are like fries, they made it like sweet potato tempura. Tasteless and bland. 30 minutes after not being able to finish my sweet potato "fries" I could not eat anymore and had to throw it away. Had less flavor than tempura and the oils I can taste that they used to fry it in tasted like old, reused oil. NEVER AGAIN. 3) Always a long wait 4) If you make the poor decision to visit, do yourself the favor and carry cash because you shouldn't be ordering much anyway. It's a $10 minimum if you want to use your card and charge extra $0.50 fee for using your card. It's not worth it. Why did I return after so many fails? Because I was desperate for milk tea and didn't have cash. I know, I am very disappointed as well. And now my stomach hurts. Never again. Rating: 3 stars This quickly location is a bit run down and out of now where. I usually pass by it all the time when heading to the Asian market just right next door to it. I am quiet saddened by the limited types of drinks that are offered at this quickly location. The one in downtown San Jose has the same board full of drinks just doesn't have many erased drink items. Usually when I am at a quickly, I stay away from the milk tea because I feel that their milk tea is mediocre and bland. I usually go to quickly and order the strawberry jelly juice. Unfortunately, the quickly locations here is Sacramento do not offer a strawberry jelly juiceC which is very upsetting. So my order is usually translated to a strawberry juice with star jelly! The last two times I visited this location there was so little boba in my drink, and it was barely sweet at all. there was only one older man working there, not sure if he is the owner or what but when he handed me my drink I asked him "that's with extra boba? I love coming here for the combo snack and free drink. Their milk teas aren't always the best. One time I tried a bubble milk tea and for some reason it tasted like medicine. Gross. But the service here is alright. There's not many English speakers so that's always difficult because one time a lady just assumed my order and I was confused. Compared to the other Quicklys on center parkway, there's a lot more food. Actual meals not just snacks. I never tried the meals. I wouldn't recommend getting the white chocolate snow. I tasted no white chocolate, it was just sugar in a slush form. Overall, I like this Quicklys more than the other. But on Saturday nights it's super crowded so that's not too bad. The quality of their Tapioca pearls were the worst part. So old and some weren't even solid rounds. All I'm happy about is not getting a horrible food posioning. Came by myself on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm. First time at this particular Quickly. Since it was my first time I go for my usual Taro Milk Tea. Warning it is pre made powdered so they could not customize which I usually do half sweet, however they did do no ice. What I like this place was their menu seems more expansive than most other Quicklys. Plus they offer actual meal food besides the snack types. The place is pretty small. There was a bar/stool seating area with 3 chairs, several tables that can seat at least 4, and the place has a setup where they have karaoke. Would not mind coming back. Food is not too bad. Portions are large for the price. Boba balls are really gross! I keep adding it to my drink thinking it might be better, but it's always terrible. I think they must recook leftover boba from the night before, because I've made boba and it's never tasted as bad as it does at this place. They charged me $1 for using a credit card for transactions under $10 but gave me no warning whatsoever. On the receipt they listed it as me having ordered a coke. This is extremely upsetting and unacceptable. When I brought this up to the staff member at the register he just laughed at me and didn't completely understand what I was saying because his English is not so great. The one dollar was not really worth arguing over or asking for a manager, but I will never coming back here again. This place is officially my favorite snack and milk tea spot. $1.49 for Thai tea? $2.25 for other kinds of milk tea? YES! They serve the best egg puffs, calamari rings, and popcorn chicken. They also have delicious fish cakes/fried tempura that I can't stop eating. They also serve takoyaki!! It's so scrummy, and although it's not as good as takoyaki from a Japanese place, it's still filling and worth it. Taro fries were good but dry. Might not get that again. Deep fried mushrooms, meh. Not ever again. They also serve hot food and noodle soups, so it's nice place to grab a snack, dessert, or even a decent meal! The service is okay. They're not rude, but they're not super hospitable either. There's decent wi-fi and board games to play with, and the place is right next to CRC too. I recently came back into town and was looking for a place to study and drink some milk tea. I yelped for boba and found this Quickly pretty close by. I went with one of my friends yesterday and found this place a little difficult to spot because of all the trees in the parking lot. When we got there, I was surprised by how clean this place was. I got my honeydew milk tea (hot) with green apple jelly. Hot drinks, however, only come in one type of cup (you know, the coffee cup with a little opening on the white cap to sip on). I smiled and asked the worker "Did you put green apple jelly in here? How do I drink it? :D" She laughed and handed me a spoon. Very friendly employees. We also got their popcorn chicken which was pretty different. Most places serve it saltier, but I really enjoyed the popcorn chicken we got here. There's also a lot more sauces available (ask for ranch!). There are also games like Jenga available for use. 5/5 for service and food read more

I'm absolutely OBSESSED with milk tea...the boba balls, not so much. I prefer my drinks to taste more like tea, rather than pure sugar and this place always gets it right. There's a wide variety in the menu, but I like to stick to the regulars. Seeing as good milk tea is hard to come by in Elk Grove, I'd rather drive just a little further for this place. I stick to the basics: jasmine milk tea, black milk tea, and the occasional regular milk tea and I can still taste the underlying flavors. I can't say much about the actual boba because I've never tried it, but the grass jelly is a great add on. They have egg puffs in three different flavors--it takes a little longer to make them, but the wait is worth it. I've also had their popcorn chicken and their salt and pepper wings, which have always come out fresh and delicious. Overall, this is my go-to place for milk tea in the area. I've been to this Quickly on Mack Rd on a number of occasions and decided that unless I really crave for it I won't be stopping by here again in the near future. Their drinks are good, but service is super slow. It doesn't matter if they have one customer waiting or ten, there is always only one guy working the register and he happens to be the same guy who makes the drinks. I waited over 15 minutes last time I was in here and there were only 3 other groups of customers in front of me. Not worth the wait unless you have plenty of time on your hands. read more
