I've been a fan of Bambu from my time in SoCal, so I was thrilled to see they opened a location here in Sacramento! If you've never had Vietnamese dessert before, this is a great place to start. I ordered my go to, the #10 Bambu Favorite. It's a mix of coconut milk, pandan jelly, and grass jelly, but the star for me is the red tapioca (Chè Thái). If you haven't tried it, they are these delightful little gems made of water chestnut chewy on the outside with a light, satisfying crunch in the middle. They're actually made to look like pomegranate seeds. The only minor downside was the consistency of the coconut milk. It felt a bit thin/watered down, even though there wasn't too much ice. I personally would have preferred a richer, thicker coconut base. However, it still totally satisfied my dessert craving! Definitely give them a try if you want to experience authentic Vietnamese sweets. Service was quick and friendly.

The chè drinks are absolutely incredible -- layered, creamy, and packed with texture. From coconut milk to pandan, jellies, beans, and fresh fruit, every sip feels thoughtfully balanced and not overly sweet. The Vietnamese smoothies are rich, refreshing, and made with real ingredients you can actually taste. Everything feels fresh, light, and satisfying without being heavy. What really stands out is the consistency and care. Drinks are beautifully presented, portions are generous, and the staff is always friendly, patient, and happy to explain the menu if it's your first visit. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to because it never disappoints.

This is a good place to get some Che with lots of menu options. I just wish their hours were better. I feel like they are always closed when I try to go! There is a small amount of indoor seating available. It can get busy at times and while there is a parking lot, finding parking can be tough here.

Bambu is known for their chè. I've been here multiple times in the past and they never disappoint. Their desserts are very affordable and good. My favorites are #10 (Bambi favorite) and #15 (Avacado desserts). I also like their yogurt drinks. Service is always super quick and friendly, it's never a long wait even though they get busy.

Love Bambu! Lots of popular Vietnamese desserts and drinks. I come here for their Vietnamese coffee but also recommend the Avocado coffee smoothie as well! Parking can be a limited but there's usually parking somewhere. Just be careful where you park and keep an eye on your surroundings. A few tables inside and sometimes outside. Please note they do close early like at 4pm, so good early in the day for your caffeine or in the afternoon for your dessert!

The service here is pretty fast even though it can get packed on weekends. Parking is fine during the weekdays but be prepared to circle around on weekends. I come here mainly for chè but the kids also like their smoothies.

I love all the dessert drinks here. They have expanded their menu since it opened awhile ago. They have fruit smoothies as well as coffee and boba. Their service is usually pretty quick, but there was one day that I went and waited 10minutes too long. The person that took my order actually forgot to make my drink and I didn't realize it until I saw 4-5 people after me getting their orders. She apologized and although I was a little annoyed, I realized that it could have happened to anyone when restaurants get busy. It's always busy when I'm here but it's a good sign when I hear a lot of vietnamese in the background. I wish I lived closer, I'd be here everyday.

Quick stop to grab smoothies, Vietnamese desserts, coffee, etc. favs #10 Bambu fav & large hazelnut coffee blended w/boba. They used to have large Che but not anymore so sometimes I'd order two #10! Gotta make sure you get there before 4pm!

Was so happy to learn that there was a Bambu in Sacramento. Really love their different types of che and this location was busy but service was quick and it didn't take too long for them to make my order. I got the summer delight and it was delicious!

This rating is solely for the durian shake. 0 stars. Very very light durian flavor. Well blended but almost tasteless. Service was good hence the 2 stars. Place was busy though. They have seats so you to sit and eat or drink. I guess I should have gotten something else.

Service: the service was standard. Fast and efficient Ambiance: there was a good amount of seating but nothing special Taro Lover: this drink was very good as it wasn't too sweet (adjusted) and the taro was light and flavorful. We really enjoyed it. Smashed Avocado: this drink was also not too sweet and the toppings paired very well with the avocado. One thing I wish was different was that it was a bit too thick for my liking and made it a bit difficult to drink.

Also, I've been craving for their banana matcha latte for a while ever since they came out with this item like a year ago so I had to come back when i saw that they're selling it again. Banana Matcha Latte - 8.2/10 I got this with soy milk and honestly it tastes really good although since their matcha is premade, you can't really adjust the sweetness and I wish the matcha a bit less sweet especially since the banana cream top is already sweet itself. Also, the soy milk gives the creaminess without overpowering the matcha too much. The banana cream top has a nice banana flavor (although kind of tastes artificial) but it's still very tasty especially with the Biscoff biscuits and fresh bananas on top. One thing to note is that they don't put a lot of ice in the drink so even when the drink is diluted, you can still taste the prominence of the matcha. The workers are pretty nice and they have really fast service even during rush hours. Also, this place is quite small so it's more of a to-go spot. I would mainly recommend coming to this spot if you're looking for high-quality matcha desserts since that's what they're really known for. I would definitely come back if I happen to be nearby.

Be warned, their Vietnamese coffee is very strong. I don't mind it though, and it's quite smooth. Most recently I had their ube cream coffee and that was delightful. There was plenty of ube cream, and once that was mixed in with the rest of the coffee, man was that delicious. I've taken my husband and a good friend of mine to Tram in the past and both of them enjoyed the drinks they chose as well. I have yet to try their matcha but my friend said it was great. The drinks are great quality, don't get me wrong. The strength of their coffee alone is enough to make you feel like you can run for an hour straight without any breaks. My only gripe is the portion size. Every time I've gone my drinks are almost always never properly filled. If I am spending near $7-8 on average for a SMALL coffee, I expect to have my drink filled every time. There is zero excuse to not fill the gaps of my drinks when I pay extra for the foam/cream that is meant to be included in my drinks. In fact, every time I've gone it is always a problem with the portions. The drinks are never filled properly to the brim or it's just littered with 60-70% ice and you get maybe 30-40% of your actual drink on a good day. I really hope the owners take this review to heart and improve on the portion/presentation of their drinks. Having your drinks filled all the way with foam/cream when your customers pay for it goes a LONG way. It makes your customers feel as if they are paying for the drink they deserve. The quality and taste of the drinks are amazing, but the portions alone make me want to pursue other competitors that treat me right and give me what I pay for.
