I love coming to i-tea. They're one of my favorite boba places in the area due to their variety. Their drinks tends to be on the sweet side so I usually adjust the sweetness to 50%. Their food here is also amazing. I love their calamari here. It's not overly batter, great portion, and delicious. They are super nice as well. There is plenty of seatings and they open until 10 pm!
My friends and I decided to eat here since our first choice was closed on Tuesdays. It was about 630pm and we were the only customers here. We ordered the durian shake (good amount of sweetness and real durian fruit and some pulp), mango shake, and other seasonal drinks. My friend ordered the shoyu based ramen, chicken katsu curry, and I got the beef noodle soup with noodles. There we're only one person assisting and the chef making the meals. The food came within a good amount of time and the chef personally brought it over. I can tell by the presentation that he put alot of dedication to each dish. I was quite shocked at how delicious all 3 of our meals were as I thought it would be average tasting dishes. Man was I wrong! It wasn't just a regular ramen soup or regular katsu curry. I adored the curry dish and broth from that tonkatsu ramen! The chicken was light and crispy and a decent portion of meat ontop. The shoyu broth was so savory and full of umami flavor. My beef tendon was alright. The tendon could've been cooked 20 min longer and big chunks of tendon could've been cut smaller but it was okay to eat too. I would def come back again! I-Tea is a bit hidden and on Stockton Blvd so there's lots of good eatings around that area, but I hope yall give this restaurant a try and support these small business! :)
the drinks were refreshing and had the right amount of sweetness! The popcorn chicken and our drinks came out quickly, and the chicken had a good crunch and good flavor. The cashier was nice and quickly got our order down. I got the milk tea w/ grass jelly 80% sweet and my friend got the oolong milk tea. Lots of seating inside, and it was fairly slow on this Friday night.
I only ordered the basil popcorn chicken so I can't attest to the boba/drinks here, but this is probably one of the best popcorn chicken I've ever had. I've had this at the Davis Itea location and thought I would come to the South Sac to try-- it is just as good! I love Itea's popcorn chicken because it's juicy, has a crunchy but not dry batter, and it is perfectly seasoned with fried basil. Bonus they add in garlic chunks and have an amazing ranch. It is a little pricy, but you get a lot of chicken in 1 order, enough food to fill up 1 hungry adult. The plaza is a little small/run down but the interior has a lot of seating. Would 10/10 come back again for the chicken!
Lots of parking. Very spacious inside. Lots of indoor seating. Food isn't great, but I'd definitely come for the drinks and appetizers. I'm a big fan of their Basil Popcorn Chicken and their Mango Sago drink. The fries are ok. A bit pricey. The wait time is a bit ridiculous, so I'd only come if you have a lot of time to kill. This wasn't my first time here and won't be my last.
It was my first time coming to this location. I've been to the one in San Jose many times when I used to work in the area. But at this location, I was surprised to see it empty. The place looked very big but with no bodies inside it. I'm not sure if I just came at an off time and it's supposed to get busy in the evening (it did say that they close at 12am). My favorite thing about this place is the quality of the drink and also the pricing. It's very comparable to San Jose's prices. I got the 3G (milk tea with boba, grass jelly and pudding) all for $5.75, with tax it came to $6.40 something. Their menu is similar to San Jose's for which I'm grateful. Im glad they don't hike up the prices bc it's Sacramento. The only thing I'd suggest is the cleanliness/smell of the place. It doesn't smell clean. The restroom also needed a lot of attention- there was no soap, the dispenser was broken, urine was all over the seat and the floor and it had a very strong vinegar/chemical smell. The place is located along Florin so it's not the best spot but I'd suggest to make it at least smelling clean and inviting. The workers except for 1 seemed friendly. Overall, I give them a 4 for the quality of drinks. Maybe they can also have some games like other boba places.
Such a hidden gem! They have so many different types of snacks, and actual menu items such as udon, curry, noodles, fried oysters. I've gotten their fried oysters, Takoyaki, popcorn chicken and calamari before. I like how their calamari's aren't the ring which makes more sense why it's on the pricier end. Love the Takoyaki too. My all time favorite drink & the reason I go there is their black tea Oreo creamy! It's like an Oreo shake w black tea. So yummy. The service is great too. I usually call ahead and it's always ready by the time I get there. It's super spacious inside too! Would recommend this spot :)
Worst bubble tea place. The person working there is a young lady, and she was extremely rude. (She looked like she really didn't even want to work there. Maybe she is the daughter of the owner?). My wife waited in the car with our baby--she told me to go inside the store and order something non-dairy. When I went in to ask the staff, she refused to help me find drinks that are non-dairy. She just pushing--what do you want? what do you want? Almost like she is in a huge hurry. But the store was empty! The whole time I was there, nobody else was there except for me. So why are you rushing me instead of helping? Finally she mentioned a drink number (M1 or something like that). When I look for that number M1 in the menu, it was very hard to find because the menu is not in alphabetical order. I am sure M1 is very obvious to her because she works there, but it is not obvious to me. On top of that she kept rushing me to make an order NOW NOW NOW, while I kept looking for M1 in the menu. "M1,C3, A9 sir. What do you want to order? What do you want to order?" After we ordered, I found out my drink is very poorly made. I ordered an iced lemon tea. As you can see in my photos, the lemon was not cut into slices! She just threw half a lemon in there because she was too lazy to cut it. When my friend saw the whole lemon he laughed like crazy. If you don't want to work there, then don't work there. It's not my fault that you are forced to work at a place where you don't want to work. I am just a normal guy, I did not force you to be there, I am not the cause of your misery. I am just trying to buy some bubble tea, I am innocent. Why are you putting your frustration on me? Wow, what a terrible place.
Lousy ass customer service. I came in when it wasn't busy, ordered after a family of 5 who got their drinks in 10 minutes. After I ordered quite a few people came in but I expected 3 simple drinks to come relatively quick. Two people who ordered AFTER me (including one that order two food items) received their drinks and food BEFORE ME. I walk up to ask them about it and just see my drinks sitting there but no one calling my number. I waited 25 goddamn minutes for these drinks. I will not be coming back.
I love i-Tea and I was excited to see a location in Sac! It's a little hard to find but it's in a small plaza with an entrance with a gate. The quality is definitely on par with other i-Tea locations I've been to! I love how some of their drinks come with toppings already, so you don't have to pay extra. You can also request for no toppings in drinks as well if that floats your boat. The workers were friendly, and the space was pretty big inside. I came on a weekday after work, and it took ~10 minutes to get my drink - something to keep in mind if you're in a rush.
Came in on a Thursday night returning for our second time. Really nice and comfortable energy and noise level inside. Lots of options and we were served pretty quickly. We ordered calamari, mozzarella sticks, basil chicken, and potato croquettes. With a hass avocado smoothie and mango sago to pair. Boba was fresh and soft. Calamari may have taken the crown for best calamari in sac for me rn. Strongly seasoned, very tender and meaty serving. Basil chicken was also really good. Nicely cooked and very crispy. The potato croquettes went really well with all the other meaty bites. Crispy panko exterior and a softly seasoned mash inside with some mix veg. Tasted great chasing either of the others.

Itea is hands down my goto boba spot. This location is no different. Love their fruit teas! Not pictured: popcorn chicken. Cashier asked if we wanted spicy or not which was great because most don't ask then I'm devouring my tea in seconds with the spicy chicken haha. It was great and crunchy! Overall, great spot but sometimes the wait can be long but they do their best to move fast. read more
When I was in college, I used to crash here due to their late hours and good food/drinks. Coming back here after a couple years and it brings back so many memories! My personal favorite is their garlic short rib noodles, which is soo tasty and stuffed with juicy short ribs cooked to perfection. Inside is the same but always very roomy which was benificial for larger parties. Can easily fit 40+ people read more

i-Tea is one of my favorite places to get tea because of their variety. They have an extensive menu and I've enjoyed almost every drink I've tried. Their service is usually fast and you can get your drinks quickly. The guy that's typically at the counter is nice and his memory is amazing. Their 100% sweetness level is perfect for me but I like sweeter drinks. My favorite drinks: - Green Tea Crema - Pineapple Fruit Tea - Mango Sago - Jasmine Green Milk Tea - Hot Taro Milk Tea + Tofuhua for a cold Winter day! However, I was looking forward to getting this drink again but was disappointed when I went back two days later and the new woman at the counter said the barista currently working doesn't know how to make hot drinks. Well that's weird... Since most of the drinks already come with toppings, their prices are very reasonable. Additionally, they let you substitute toppings for free. The only drink I've tried here that I didn't like was the Strawberry Fruit Tea since it was extremely syrupy. They were nice about it and made me a different drink instead, which I really appreciated. Regarding food: - Tonkatsu Ramen: I really enjoyed the ramen but the toppings they use are bland. However, this doesn't deter me from ordering it since the ramen and broth are flavorful. - Popcorn Chicken is a tad spicy so if you can't handle any spice, I would say you should pass on this item. It's also white chicken so it's on t dryer end. Regardless, if you're in the area, I really think you should give their drinks a try! I think this is the first boba shop that I've been to with so many drinks that I like. read more

Food/ drink - 1 star I have been going to a few i-Tea locations in the Bay Area. None of them let me down but this location is off the standard. Sugar level in is off. The cream brûlée doesn't have the Carmel , see my pictures. The egg puffs was cold. Service - 0 stars We came here in the past Friday and ordered 3 drinks from their app 2 x tofu red beans 1x coffee jelly boba We received a text message told us the drinks were ready. But , on our way there, we received a call and told us that they ran out of tofu so we changed to one more coffee jelly boba and one cream brûlée boba. So they did. When we came back there today and ordered the same drinks. This time they had the tofu red beans but they wanted to charge us back for the $0.49 difference on the past Friday because they told us the cream brûlée is $0.49 more than the tofu red beans. Seriously! ? For $0.49 ?! No.1 That was their fault. They ran out of an item but didn't notify the customer right away. We received the message that the order was ready. We were going there and we got a call after that. No 2. If they wanted to charge the difference, they should let us know the same day when we picked up the order. If they forgot to charge it on that day, oh well. That's their own fault. But no, they are putting it on a return customer. And the way they talked to us wasn't nice at all. It sounded like that was our fault that we tried to take advantage of them! No. 3 look at the picture of the cream brûlée and you will understand why we are not happy to pay the difference. We were going to sit down and have dinner there tonight. Of course we didn't, for this kind of service. They don't know they lost a customer because of $0.49. Guess how much money they could have made from me a year ? That's not a smart way to do business. read more

It's just me or I felt that I had a hard time looking for this place. Lmao. Blaming waze for making me go around the neighborhood. But the site is okay not like the one on Milipitas iTea. Popcorn chicken lookin like chicken tenders. As far as i can remember popcorn chicken, had tiny cuts and a bunch of Basil!!!!! For some reason, in the Sacramento area, Basil doesn't exist. Clearly, I have been in and out of the country to pay attention when Basil is no longer an ingredient of popcorn chicken. That just reminded me of another spot up north where they serve "popcorn chicken" only for it to look like chicken tenders lol. Got sidetracked......Idk why these places at times even try to accommodate Western pallets. Will change rating if they turn their flavors more of Milpitas i-Tea. But for now no WOW factor like the one in Milpitas. read more

My friend took me here for a late night snack run. It's nice to find a boba and snack spot that's open super late since I'm a night owl. The restaurant was spacious and clean and I could see an employee periodically sanitizing the tables. The drink was refreshing and the fries with sauce were nice and crispy. Be warned though, they take forever to make your drinks. I thought that was weird since me and my friend were the only customers in the restaurant. Our food came out faster than the drinks when usually it's the opposite haha. But the food and drinks were good so I'm not mad about it. Just keep that in mind incase you're on a time crunch. read more

I loved i-Tea and I've been a customer for years. I have so many good memories here with my friends, eating their delicious popcorn chicken and just hanging out. This most recent time we came, the experience left me super dissatisfied and saddened. We ordered the basil popcorn chicken and an oolong milk tea (or what we thought was an oolong milk tea.) What we received was just oolong tea, and we noticed it immediately upon picking it up at the counter. We notified the workers immediately and told them, we thought the oolong came with milk. They said no, we ordered oolong tea, no milk. We said okay, would it be possible for you guys to remake our drink, or give us some milk to add to the tea? We even said we would pay the difference if the milk cost more. To which they said no, you would have to just buy a whole new drink. It was such a minor fix, just add some milk! It also was not busy at all, there was like one other group in the building besides us. Of course I was like oh man that really sucks, they really couldn't just fix our drink? I would've let it go but the guy employee I asked really did not give a damn. He could've gone about it to so many ways, but the way he talked to me about it just gave off that he didn't care to do anything about it. The chicken is still delicious but I probably won't be returning any time soon because of the customer service! read more
Dead Friday night and the owner or manager put one worker by herself. She was taking orders and making drinks by herself. If this isn't the most stupidest thing ever I don't know what is. Took over 40mins for our drinks and she messed up all 4 drinks. This place has to be the worst iTea location ever! Zero stars read more
I've gone back to this place three times in the past two weeks. This place is kind of addicting. My favorite thing so far is the Mango Sago, I like to add litchi. I also ordered the watermelon Sago, egg puffs, egg rolls, shrimp lolly pops, and the steamed dumplings. The dumplings had a very mild flavor, and the shrimp lollipops just weren't my thing but the eggrolls were great, almost like lumpia. The egg puffs where Also really delicious. I'll keep coming back for the sago drinks!!! read more

This was my first time going there. My little brother told me about this place. We went in after work. I have been to other spots like this, but this was the biggest I have been to. A lot of the tables/chairs were put away. It was still spacious enough to be comfortable in your own bubble, yet not feel so "COVID social distancing" apart. I ordered the Peach Fruit Tea & mini egg rolls. Very good drink! The drink came with the peach boba at the bottom of the cup. The only "knock" I have on my drink is that by the time you get to middle of the cup, all of the peach flavoring was gone. The only thing I could taste was the green tea. I guess I should have mixed it up before I started to drink? Now for the mini egg rolls. They came in a small "to go" style box. They were about 6-8 of them inside. They also came with a sweet chili sauce that I thought was very good. My knock on the egg rolls is that they were smaller than I am used to having. They had the circumference of a larger boba straw. The price was respectable. My drink was $5.25. My egg rolls were $9.75. For $15 I would definitely try again and I do plan on going back. BONUS: My little brother ordered the popcorn chicken. His came with a spicier red chili sauce, and a "house sauce" that looked like teriyaki with a glop of horse radish. You were recommended to mix them together before tasting. The chicken was very good. It was even better with the house sauce. I could do without the chili sauce though. We can't do half stars, but this place would have got a 4.5 from me. I am definitely going to go back, and I do plan on trying more drinks and tasting more sides! read more

Stopped by i-Tea since my mom was craving their K1 (boba and pudding iced milk); we got it at 80% sweetness and 30% ice. I could probably go for 50% sweetness next time, but overall enjoyed the drink and thought it was consistent with the quality i-Tea usually provides. Also, after reading back on my previous review, I am happy to say that their service has improved! The cashier greeted us and asked to make sure that both toppings listed in the K1 were okay with us. I thought that was very nice of her. Their menu has also changed a bit to include new drinks and calorie counts of the drinks which is pretty cool. Overall, I'm really glad that they've made improvements since I last visited and hope to be back soon! read more

I used to come here all the item when I was in college; this place is great! The mango sago is definitely one of my top drinks. I also like to order their popcorn chicken (dark meat), garlic noodles, & ramen. I'd like to try more on their menu, but I always end up sticking to the same things because they're so tasty! The parking lot is normally never full, and the service here is wonderful. They're very friendly & fast! I don't come here as much anymore because the distance, but I highly recommend i-Tea to everyone! read more
