Sweet sour chicken with half fried rice and half chow mein. Fresh and made to order.
Kia V.

The food is good. The takoyaki is delicious! The food is 3 stars. The customer service is 5 stars. The owners are friendly, nice, and welcoming. I would go back for the food, but I'm definitely going back because the customer service was outstanding. The prices are fair. For our meal and two sodas the total was $40.00. We had leftovers to take home. This place is for smaller groups, but if you push a few tables together, it'll fit a larger group. Try this place out!

Sesame chicken with fried rice and boba

The customer service was great. The old man at the counter was kind(there was a language barrier). I ordered a combo plate fried rice and sesame chicken. The food tasted like delicious home cooking and was made fresh on the spot. I also ordered black tea boba. Too sweet but I could've told them to adjust the sweetness before hand. I would come here again for lunch.

The owners are so sweet!! Everything is good delicious and the amount they give u is way more than other boba shop. And the price is way less expensive compare to other place. Come support them! I will be back everytime I'm in town.

This is my go to spot for boba, I always order the popcorn chicken and it always taste the same. This place is quite , an abundance of parking but the only downside is that English is not their first language it I can see them trying. It's is a mom and pop shop run shop despite the name of the store . They do understand English and you do have to repeat order a few times . Mostly for accuracy but they are super friendly

The owner is super sweet and welcoming. The food proportions are huge and bigger than other places and is also very cheap.

I have been coming here from years really enjoy their popcorn chicken and I always get one of their jumbo rose tea Today the popcorn chicken was $7.50 and the jumbo rose tea with rainbow jelly was $8.81 Starbucks doesn't cost that much nor does any of the other quickly as I have been to let's just say I will be waiting in that Dutch Bros line from now on. I love the people here and seem like they are family running the business I felt good supporting them but no way will I pay 9bucks for a tea I could get the same size 2x at Starbucks and Dutch bros. Anyhoo o got my popcorn chicken and downsized the drink rant over

Very friendly and quick service. Boba slush is delicious! Very good energy inside. 10/10 would recommend.

Left Drink:Thai Tea Right Drink:Strawberry Juice

Second time coming in as of typing this review, I like it. It's just a lady and a man (I assume husband & wife) running the whole store. The food is good, but they specialize in drinks so don't expect some amazing dish for the price below $8-$10 per se like a restaurant. I got the fried rice and it's just like any typical homemad cooking, you got your corn, carrots, peas, and green beans as well as your choice of protein. I came back this time because my first time my lady and I were in a rush and couldn't take in everything. Drink wise I got a Strawberry Juice. I say it's good. I tipped them more money than my total since I was feeling great and the lady gave me a free Thai Tea. The Lady and Man are great and they have the place nice and clean. The lobby is a nice vibe. I would say it's a shame they're located in an area where it doesn't get much foot traffic or attention as it's mostly to the side from the SF Market. Nonetheless it's a good spot if you want drinks and just want some peace and quiet. It's definitely not the type of boba shops where it's popular like Tea4U, Tastea, Happy Lemon etc. English is not their first language but they're happy that you came in and make an effort to understand you.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of options on the menu and I appreciate that they have some items for kids and utensils and extra bowls for the kids. The place is quiet and clean. All the food came out super hot and fresh. Will definitely be back Steak and egg skillet: 5/5. I love these skillet dishes. The steak was flavorful and tender. The sauce in the skillet was not too heavy or sweet. It had a nice balanced flavor. All the different foods that came on the skillet were good. The meatball was a tad sweet for me. The baguette was warm and crispy. So good. Very good dish and one of the better ones I've had. Grilled rib eye rice combo: 5/5. I could be wrong, but I thought the beef had a slight lemongrass flavor that I love. The meat was tender. We got the garlic rice with it and it definitely elevates the flavors. Would recommend trying it with the garlic rice Egg rolls: 5/5. Came out nice and hot and crispy. The flavor is on the lighter side, but I thought it was flavorful enough. It also comes with fish sauce to dip in for more flavor and it was really good with that as well. Our boys love egg rolls and they approved. lol Kids noodle soup/pho: 4/5. Generous portion for the kids to share. They keep it simple for the kids. Just rice noodles and sliced beef. You can also add on meatballs, but we didn't since our boys don't always eat the meatballs. The pho broth was decent. The boys enjoyed it. I don't know if I would get a big bowl for myself. I prefer the other dishes here

Big menu with lots to choose from. You can get pho, various soups, rice or noodle plates, and appetizers. I couldn't choose and wanted to try so many things but I opted for the lemongrass chicken plate and the sautéed lemongrass chicken. The sautéed one was my favorite. The sauce itself had a ton of flavor and was great with the rice. The grilled chicken plate was a little dry for me and didn't have as much flavor. I did order the combo but the server forgot to include it, which came with 3 shrimps, eggrolls and a fried egg. So I got it on the side. Want to come back and try other things here.

Kado Asian Fusion has been on my list to try for a while. I've been following them on social media…read moreand have read the reviews on Yelp and was so excited to finally try it out. The restaurant is super cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered and shaded which is perfect for warmer Sacramento months. They have a variety of menu items including a build your own bowl opton, tacos, nachos, sandwiches, loaded fries, musubi and an udon special. I ended up ordering the Umami Udon with special chicken as my protein ($13.50), a Build Your Own Bowl with fried rice, katsu chicken, the triple katsu sauce, and stir fried veggies with "The Works" ($16.50), and Musubi ($8.75). The staff was super friendly and helped me make some decisions for my order and recommended the umami udon special, which I'm so happy about. The food was made fresh and took a little bit, but was packed with care and was nice and hot. I took it home to enjoy and the food was still hot and the portion sizes were really generous. The Umami Udon was amazing, it had perfectly cooked udon noodles that had a great chew in a creamy teriyaki sauce with smokey bacon, mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was a great mix of sweet and savory and lived up to it's umami name. I would order this again and again, it was so good. The Build Your Own bowl was also delicious and I can see why the chicken katsu is a customer favorite. The veggies were fresh and the fried rice was really flavorful. The Spam Musubi had thick slices of spam with a nice marinade and came with sauces for dipping. I'll definitely be back again soon, and while I want to explore more of the menu the umami udon is happening again!

Kado Asian Fusion is located on Broadway and cater to the lunch/dinner crowds. They are open from 12-8pm every day except Sundays. The inside was clean and had a decent amount of tables. We ordered at the counter and then sat at a table while we waited for our food to go. They offer bowls, tacos, nachos, rolls and sandwiches! I don't always know what to order at new places - so I liked that they had signs for specials as well as "favorites." We ordered the Rice with Teriyaki Chicken, Oliver's Favorite which was Spam Musubi and Spam and Bacon Fried Rice and Mom and Dad's Forbidden Feast. Everything looked and tasted really good! Obviously, it would have been much better had we actually eaten in the restaurant, but still no complaints once we got it home. Spam Musubi is one of my favorite things to eat so I could have downed like 5 of them! Portions were huge too - they even have a 100 year old teriyaki recipe! Overall, I would definitely come back and try other items! Staff were also very friendly, personable and gave great recommendations! Check them out!

We had a pleasant cucumber salad in place of kimchi this time. It was a refreshing mix of onions, scallions, and Korean red chili powder yet not spicy. It was great to balance the spicy tteokbokki! The delicious yet fiery tteokbokki had nice chewy rice cakes, flat fish cakes, and a couple of seaweed wrapped japchae bundles. The scallions, onions in hot pepper sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese were delightful Seating was nice and open and the simple wood tables and chairs were nice and felt homely too. Not one to leave a claim like that unvalidated, I had to give it a try. Since I came for chicken, I ordered the Fried Chicken, Petaluma half bird, infused maple, Szechuan peppercorn, orange and rosemary. While this is not traditional southern fried chicken, its a marvelous fusion of flavors on the moistest chicken breast I have had in a very long time! The flavor profile is so well executed that the various components surface to your senses on a seeming time-release so you taste them at different times during the bite, leaving you with a hint of orange lingering into the next bite. I'm impressed! The staff are some of the friendliest I have met at a restaurant and they are very proud of their menu offerings. A very nice young man, Sam, came to inquire how I was enjoying my meal, as if the growing pile of very clean bones were not enough. Despite him preparing to leave his shift, he took the time to tell me about the special spicy chicken coconut broth they only serve on Saturdays, and even made a special effort to bring me a sample! Let's just say, I will be back on a Saturday! The number of menu offerings is not extensive but, from the dishes I saw on other tables, the portions are generous and look quite appetizing. I guess I will have to come back soon and try them! Great job!

I tried their sukiyaki set, both wagyu and seafood. I wish they had given some instructions on the approach or order I should eat the sets of food. It was a little chaotic trying to figure out how I could submerge all the ingredients in the broth so they would cook evenly. The tempura is perfectly crispy, but the rice was a little brittle and got dried really fast. The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. Since I tried both set, the wagyu sukiyaki broth became a little too sweet at the end. My favorite is definitely the seafood sukiyaki broth. Would I try these pricy sukiyaki again? Probably not. Would I go back to Azayaka again? 100%. This would not discourage me from going back there any amount.
