Came out here with my boyfriend since he came here once with his friend on break. I ordered the black garlic ramen and it was brought it really quickly after we found ourselves a seat. It was a Friday night so it was slightly busy with almost all the seats occupied. The ramen itself was fine, no complaints. I for sure have gotten better ramen elsewhere but this is a nice and solid ramen place. With limited options out here I think this is a good staple place for whenever I have a craving for it and happen to be out here.
Fantastic ramen bar with fantastic service! There are many options. I had the seafood ramen, and my date had the chicken. Both were highly recommended! The area is sweet because it's not crowded, with a nice ambiance, perfect for a first or tenth date.
Stopped by for ramen after my husband picked me up from the airport. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The restaurant is very cozy and the staff very friendly. He ordered the Black Garlic Ramen which had a good garlic flavor and enhanced the broth. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen which I found to be a bit bland. We both found the noodles a bit too soft and not as al dente to our liking. We also ordered the grilled whole squid to share which was also fairly decent. The squid was tender but lacked the char and flavor you expect from a grilled squid. Overall, it's not a bad spot for ramen but I don't think I would find myself back here.
I get the chicken ramen but ask for the soup to be TomKatsu it's the best! For some reason I've never been able to find a place like Hokato that used to be on Broadway. I get mine without the mushrooms and without something else I can't think of it right now I used to want to add extra corn because I really that's how I like mine but this corn just doesn't taste right you can tell it's out of a can which I guess is normal I don't know if it needs to be cooked longer or what or why it just taste different Pricing is decent. I don't think it's inexpensive, but I don't think it's really expensive either. I'm not 100% sure how services I've only ate there once and it was super loud. It's super busy however, one thing I do wish is that I could order my Ramen the way that I like it on DoorDash I would be so much happier a lot of times when I'm at work I want to order this however in NATOMAS, this is the best place I have found. do not forget to add an extra egg you'll think me later. So good!
Such an incredible place I was able to come here for a little brunch and I was so surprised to staff was incredible atmosphere was amazing. I really enjoyed my time there. We tried out some classic Ramen dishes, and honestly there were so flavorful packing and amazing. I was just so impressed with the preparation execution. I left feeling so full fulfilled that I will definitely be coming back here again.
First time here but whenever I'm running errands in the area, I always pass by this place, so I'm glad I can finally try it! I absolutely loved how the menu showed pictures of most of the popular dishes or almost every dish! It really does help when we're trying to decide what we want to eat. I ordered the Miso ramen (medium spice) while my cousin ordered the Black Garlic ramen (mild sauce). We cleaned our bowls thoroughly. It was delicious and i loved my spicy miso ramen!! The medium spice level was perfect , spicy and tasty! Would definitely come here again!
I've been coming to Koshi for years & the chicken tan tan ramen spicy has always been a hit! The service is always fast, even when you order to go. The crab rangoons are also delicious, especially if you get them a little crispier. When it comes to dining in, the atmosphere is always very relaxed & the servers always make sure your drinks are filled & that you're doing okay. It's the perfect spot when you're craving something warm for your belly
First time trying this type of food/ramen. Never really was into these types of ramen places cause I had one bad experience a long time ago when someone share some of theirs and I didn't like it at all lol but it was raining that day I went and I was feeling something to keep me warm and soup type of day so I decided to try and daaam I was impressed great ramen and great soup. It was delicious paid 17.39 for my soup.
I had visited this Ramen spot YEARS ago, but my husband chose it so we could seat outside with our baby. We came on an early Sunday evening, so it wasn't very busy. You order at the front and they give you a number. I do love that they serve beer and have both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the spicy yuzu not realizing that it was brothless. However, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was! The chicken was well seasoned, and the noodles were full of flavor. Overall a great experience, and I will for sure be back!
my coworkers and I were craving ramen and my manager had mentioned Koshi Ramen Bar! it was easy and convenient to order online - they have varieties of broths, it was easy to edit orders to customize based on preference, and it was ready within 15 minutes! they had packed out ramen separately from broth and noodles as well as left slips of paper that informed is what was what! it was so convenient! the broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked just right. i really enjoyed the roasted pork! i was pleasantly surprised to see a whole soft boiled egg since most ramen spots i've been to, only give one! would definitely come again!

My partner and I got one of each lunch combo: black garlic combo and seafood combo. Everything came out hot and fresh. We enjoyed the lumpia and gyoza. The ramen broth was rich and tasty. There is a serious lack of ramen spots in this area of Sacramento, and Koshi Ramen Bar is my go-to when I am craving a hearty bowl of ramen. You order and pay up front, then take a number to your seat. The restaurant is clean and the seating area extends along the side wall. The staff are very no-frills, and the food arrives pretty quickly. The best bang for your buck is to order the tonkotsu ramen and add black garlic oil or any other toppings you want. If you take a look at the menu, ordering the black garlic ramen doesn't come with most of the toppings that the standard tonkotsu ramen doesn't, so it's better to add the black garlic oil to the regular tonkotsu ramen. That's my personal preference, especially since I love kikurage mushrooms and egg (a must) in my ramen, and the black garlic ramen doesn't have either of those (like why not include the egg as default?!). Adding black garlic oil to my tonkotsu ramen brings the charge up to around $17, which is pretty standard these days for a good bowl of ramen. Still cheaper than if you were to add all the toppings to the black garlic ramen. The flavors have always been consistent when I visit. The black garlic oil is super rich and flavorful, and there are always a good amount of toppings in my bowl. The chashu is not torched, but still has a good flavor and is pretty tender. I love the jammy ajitama, which they cut in half to expose the gorgeous yolk (do not fret, you do get a full egg). The noodles are thick and chewy, so they aren't refined like other fancier ramen shops I've been to. Koshi Ramen Bar isn't the kind of place like Marufuku is (iykyk), so if you're looking for that kind of ramen, Koshi isn't the right place for you. I have never tried the other food selections Koshi offers, since ramen is my go-to here, so I cannot speak on the quality or taste of the other dishes. I'd recommend Koshi Ramen Bar for your ramen fix if you're in the area, and will definitely continue to support them!
Went here for birthday and had fun with siblings and nephews and niece. Nephews love their ramen and I know it is good ramen when I see them gobble it up. Got the Chicken Tan Tan Men and liked it. Been here before trying the grilled squid and vegetarian ramen and other ramens and always enjoyed the food. You order the food up front and pay and they serve bowls at your table when they're done preparing it. I almost always like this set up so I don't worry about payment later. It was a busy time when we went but food came out quick especially with kids waiting for their food. I think they have enough space. Thank you.

Came here with a friend for dinner! Super friendly and quick customer service. You walk in, place your order and pay, and food comes out quickly and is all delicious! We ordered the kimchi and gyoza to share, both really good! I think she ordered the Chicken tan-tan ramen and I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen. Mine was really creamy and flavor full, I added some of the chili oil/ paste that's on the end of the table and WOAH! That stuff is spicy. But really good. We had an early dinner so it wasn't too busy but this place is a perfect place for quick delicious meals. Oh yeah - I also ordered a unagi bowl for my husband to enjoy at home and he said it was delicious! Both staff women we interacted with were so helpful and on it. I found the ramen a bit too salty. And the karaage was a bit sweet and the sauce it came with even sweeter. I loved how there was a decent amount of black garlic in the ramen. Service was great and fast. Restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. Food was just okay. read more

Work trip and was looking for something soupy and warm! Had dinner here with a fellow co-worker. Happy to have come here! You order in front and then have a seat wherever you like. Plenty of indoor seating for big or small parties. Order: tonkotsu ramen, black garlic ramen, Takoyaki, and fried oysters. Wow the portions are great here. My ramen broth was rich and full of flavor. The pork was so tender, egg was gooey and so good, and all the toppings were generous. I was stuffed! The fried oysters were crispy to the bite and come with a sauce on the side. I recommend! It was a good starter! I also really like the Takoyaki that were freshly made and so meaty. Definitely ordering that again. The ambiance is chill and casual. Great service from the staff. I had a craving for ramen and Koshi is my go-to in the Natomas area. I was greeted at the register and the hostess helped me with my order. It's been several months since I've been here last so it was helpful having her assist me through the menu. I ordered the seafood ramen and fried squid. They did not disappoint. Both were well seasoned and the textures were spot on. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. Lighting was not glaring and the music was not too loud. I must make it a point to come back more often. read more

The staff is so thoughtful and friendly. She gave out a small bouquet of roses and mums for Mother's Day! So sweet! The food is always great. The BEST Ramen I've ever had. The Broth is always delicious, even when you reheat the next day (mind you, this is the only Ramen broth that tastes still so good the day after). The place is always clean and cozy. Love the warm lighting and the light music. A great place to hangout with friends and family. A special place to have a ramen bowl even by yourself. read more

This is a solid ramen place. My black garlic ramen was pretty good, I do wish the toppings were a bit warmer to match the broth. Speaking of the broth, it was creamy and garlicky. My friends and I were going to Color Me Mine next door so decided to come here for lunch. They have good selections on their menu from starters, rice and ramen. Order at the counter and then seat yourself. Food came out pretty quick. I ordered a Chicken Tan Tan Ramen as I've never had chicken tan tan before. Flavor was on point. The broth was lukewarm. Came here around 7:30PM on a Friday and there were a good amount of seats left. You order at the cashier in front first before taking a seat. I got the Miso Ramen, Chicken Karaage, and Edamame (not pictured). The food came out pretty fast within 10 minutes! The Miso Ramen was good, but it wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping so I'd like to try their Black Garlic Ramen if I come back. The Chicken Karaage was pretty good - but what stood out to me was the sauce! As for the edamame beans, I would skip out on this. Although they sprinkled salt on it, it still tasted a bit bland to me because the salt was falling off. read more
A nice restaurant; few doors down from a movie theater! I think what I like most about this place is there's something for everyone. I'm not a huge ramen fan but I find myself returning over and over! The chicken ramen is a great starter for folks! I also enjoy that the spice level is typically noted on the menu because everyone knows I hate super spicy! Did I mention the garlic fries are to die for? Forget stadium fries!!!! The service is typically okay, whether your ordering for takeout or dine in. Over all a great place with plenty of options. It's a little on the expensive side though especially once you start adding additional ingredients to your meal. Keep that in mind! read more

My friend was craving Ramen while we were out running errands yesterday and she said we should check out Koshi in Natomas since they have some of the best veggie broth - per my friend. This was my first time visiting, but I have had Koshi bookmarked for a while so I was very excited to check them out for a late lunch! The inside was a bit small, but we found a spot at their bar area that was covered with a cute Christmas village display plus they even had Home Alone 2 on the TV - holiday heaven! We had to order at the counter and I couldn't decide between the Chicken Karaage Curry or the Chicken Katsu - the server told me that the Chicken Karaage Curry was her absolute favorite so I decided to go with that. It was my first time trying itand I am so beyond glad that I did - it was a bowl of comfort food! I am still thinking about it and want to go back and eat it every day. It was so flavorful - it was a Christmas hug in a bowl! It will now be my go-to every time I see it on a menu going forward! We also ordered the Garlic Furikake Fries to share - not sure I would order them again though, but they were a nice sweet and salty treat. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and so did my friend. The staff was friendly even when one of the servers accidently spilled water all over my phone - she was distracted by my phone background of my 2 cute dogs so can you really blame her? I can't wait to come back - that Chicken Karaage Curry will be calling my name until we visit again! read more

I absolutely loved this place!! I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Black Garlic Oil. It was so delicious and creamy. I would definitely order it again. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The place itself is comfortable and there is quite a lot of seating. I would recommend this place to anyone who LOVES ramen. read more
Never been to an order-at-the-counter ramen place before, not my preference but whatever... Glad they bring your food to the table, could totally see the liability of having customers carry their own hot bowl of ramen (glad someone was using their noodle ;-])! I already have my fav ramen place but decided to venture out here and try this place new to me. Had the black garlic ramen which was good; however, there was only 2 pieces of pork in it and the noodle wasn't as al dente as I like, more on the softer side. I really liked the broth, there was a ton of grilled garlic in it, adding to the flavor. Veggie tempura was bland, think you guys need to season the batter some more. Liked the squid and sauce it was in. Might have to continue to go back to my fav place for ramen but I'll keep ya guys in mind for squid and the other offerings. I went there today on a rainy Friday night wanting a warm bowl of soup with my boyfriend. You order first and then seat yourself. They have bar seating with TVs or regular tables. They had decorated for Valentine's Day which was cute. I ordered the black garlic ramen and my boyfriend ordered the tonkotsu ramen. I added cabbage for extra $ .99. We also ordered appetizers - spicy edamame, whole grilled squid, and chicken karaage. The appetizers were good! I always get the grilled squid. I've visited a couple of times before. The ramen soup was lukewarm for some reason. I've gone to the delta shores location and it was hot. I don't really like my soup lukewarm and I've noticed it was like that on previous visits. There was 2 pieces of pork, bamboo, corn, and green onion with the black garlic ramen. I didn't have an egg in mine but my boyfriend's came with an egg. Overall, I liked the food. read more

If you're in Natomas and want ramen, Koshi Ramen Bar is a great spot. We came in on Friday evening and it was very busy. The inside isn't very big, but staff does a great job of cleaning tables quickly. Menu includes different ramens, appetizers, and rice bowls. You can add on extras to your ramen for an additional costs. You can also adjust your spice to however you like it. This time we got the black garlic and tonkotsu. We also ordered an extra noodle and broth for the kiddos to share. Or order came out pretty fast. The ramen is perfectly warm and filling. The black garlic broth has a deep savory flavor, and the tonkotsu is milder. Each comes with various toppings, like soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and chasu. The chasu is tender and the egg yolk was perfect. The noodles are on the thicker side. I noticed it's gotten pricier since our last visit (thanks again inflation). But still good ramen and great service. read more

Unagi Don which us Eel over rice, mama was so happy with her bowl. Seeing her enjoy it really makes me happy. . This is located in natomas next to the theater. This is a great option when I want comfort food and movies after or before without traveling too far is amazing. 2 things in one setting. . Plenty of parking which makes it even better without the stress. . Ramen - they have chicken tan tan noodle, yes chicken option and chicken broth too. I'm amazed this is a great idea for non pork lovers and seafood lovers too. Having a chicken. Option is nice. . The black garlic ramen with pork broth and pork belly is my hands down number one option. The pork broth is rich and the black garlic is umami. . The inside is simple. Vibes is cozy. Great service and a good bowl of ramen, I'm really happy . Overall if I want ramen in natomas, this is one spot I will go back, good, quick, consistent, and reasonable price too. Hope this helps.
