Is it fair to compare this to SoCal? Why not? Just because there is less competition doesn't entitle them to lower quality. GOOD: They are open later than the other places. Love love love there teas!!! Recently fav is the Jasmine Milk tea!!! I have tried there Boba Milk tea & Thai milk tea! YUM!! My bf's new fav right now is the Passion Fruit juice with rainbow jelly!!! It's so good! They have the best popcorn chicken! We also order the Hong Kong style chow mein! Really good surprisingly better than the restaurants! I have been a fan of milk tea since I've been Asian...oh that means my whole life! This place makes their milk tea just like the one in down town and they don't disappoint at all. I love that they have a full kitchen and can make other snacks and foods as well. The combo 1 comes with popcorn chicken, fish balls, and french fries is delish. The owners are super nice too. The music is mostly Chinese, but they have youtube so if you want to hear something just ask. They also sing K there on certain nights too! I like this place for their huge varieties of snacks and drinks. You can't find that variety anywhere else. I do have to say compared to Lollicup the tea is not as good but good enough if you want to save money by paying less. This place is cheaper for the boba teas! So when given the chance I'd go here over Lollicup to save money with my boba tea addiction. The popcorn chicken was also good, but do know that it's not all white meat. The calamari is also good flavorful. The Chinese food however I have to give two thumbs down. It was plain and didn't have much flavor. Affordable place to go to. My fav Quickly in South Sac! Good deals and the drinks are OK. I also go there for the egg puffs! I love how they have karaoke! I can enjoy my food with my baby listening to people singing. It was my first visit ever, to any Quickly. I told the young cashier that, when he immediately came to take my order, and I was still reviewing the menu. He was very courteous. I ordered, and took a seat. Moments later, a women came from the kitchen, dropped the bag containing my to-go order on the counter, yelled, "Ok", and walked away, before I got up from my chair. Offended, I said, "You're welcome" to her back. The young man, from the opening behind the counter quickly uttered, "Thank you. Have a nice day". I tried to call, and speak with him, rather than using Yelp. No one answered. I probably won't return. I'm huge on customer service, and first impressions can be lasting. Businesses should require their employees to behave accordingly. They won't miss me. And, seeing that I had never been a customer, I won't miss them either. Of all the boba milk teas I have tried, this Quicklys location has the best! Their boba is chewy and they do not go heavy on the ice, just how I like it. My auntie loves egg puffs so of course we had to get some! Of the two orders, one of them was burned. When we brought it up to the worker, she disregarded it. I think this is due to the fact that she understood a limited amount of English. But after some interpretation, she made us another one. They have promotions by the side of the register like buy one taro milk tea, get one half off but they do not give you these discounts unless you mention them! The few times i have been to this location were cause of the center pkwy one being closed. This location has been around longer and stays open till midnight unlike the other. This was the first and only boba spot that had my favorite flavor: wax gourd milk tea (TRY IT, you'll love it.) The crazy thing is, every time I order it, the workers are always confused as to what that is. I usually end up having to look up the number it is on the menu (memorized this routine), and wait for them to find it, ask around if other workers know it...etc. But anyway! despite them never knowing the flavor, they always make it just right! lol. Later I found that the downtown Quickly also has this flavor, so yay I go there more now. The only cons I can mention are that they take awhile to get you your order, and as mentioned above, they don't know their menu too well. The actual boba is just ok for me (but the yumminess of the drink make it worth it, anyway.) All I can say is that I am disappointed. Lollicup on Stockton was closed so this was the only place I could think of on the way home because I was craving boba. The order took 20 minutes to get done and they messed up my order. Asked for a strawberry peach snow and they supposedly gave me strawberry watermelon and all I taste is watermelon. And we ordered popcorn chicken and calamari and the sauce it came with is not good at all. It's super sweet like it belonged in a drink instead of it being a dipping sauce. Too expensive. Their taxes are ridiculously high. Ive had cheaper, better tasting Green tea slush and Chinese food before. I didn't really care for the food. It was my second visit and I left very upset and it was my birthday. I ordered egg puffs again and they burnt it. I inform them it was burnt, they said that's how it is suppose to be but they said they will make me another one more soft, THEN 7minutes later they gave me another but as I tried to eat it- it was the same one flipped upside down as it had the part I ate the first time. First time coming here. I ordered the Passion Fruit Snow with boba and popcorn chicken extra spicy. Just entering this place reminds me of Hello Desserts! in the bay. Warm, inviting, HUGE menu, and karaoke WOW! My Passion Fruit Snow is already done! Amazing! WHOA! My chicken is done! My brother ordered the Lobster Balls. I stole one. FANTASTIC! Great drinks, quick service, I'm loving this place already. There are so many drinks I look forward trying on my next visit. Any suggestions would be welcomed and greatly appreciated. I am not a boba snob. I usually enjoy boba drinks from all over Sacramento and Elk Grove. However, I think this was the first time I was really disappointed in my drink. I ordered a Jasmine Green Tea with boba and well, it didn't taste much like tea at all. The drink was overly sweet/sugary. To add, the boba was hardened and hard to chew. Was it day old boba? Normally, I like Quickly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location. The cashier who took my order didnt want to give me a receipt. She made it seem like such a hassle. Though I only ordered a drink and puffs, it took over 15 minutes to get my food, and I was the only one in the store. I was so irritated that I almost walked out. I have had the chow fun, chow mein, fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp, every dish every time is delicious. The food takes a little while to come out because he is cooking it fresh. This was my second time going to this location. My 10 year old is obsessed with thai teas. We were in the neighborhood so we decided to go in. We ordered large thai tea and they were having a special buy one and get other one for 1/2 off. So we end up getting 2 large thai teas. We had alot of thai teas from many different places and this was the 2nd worst tasting so far. It didn't taste or look nothing like thai tea but more like watered down milk. Very disappointed. This location is clean, colorful, and spacious with limited seating. I've only gone here during mid-afternoon, so the limited amount of seating never bothered me. The drinks can be powdery at times, but that just requires a little more shaking and stirring on your part. The drinks are decently priced; I love that my tea is less than $2. What a deal! The menu has a lot to offer. Food comes out hot, so be sure to let it cool for a minute or two to avoid burning your tongue (not that I have, ha). It's deep within a near-empty plaza, so parking is never a problem. I'd say it's definitely worth a try if you're in the area! read more

I came here because I wanted some quality Boba milk tea I stead of SF's milk tea. A wrong choice. Customer service was rude. My sister and I came in and they told us to get out of the way when they were giving out their food for some dine in customers. Didn't even apologize. The young lady at the cashier was a little rude too. Asked her a question and she answered in an attitude. She was cussing right in front of us, kicking boxes and talking to the dine in customers instead of walking over and making sure they're okay. The drinks were overpriced for their quality. My quest for a good Chinese food restaurant in my local area continues, and has not ended here. The huge language barrier was a major factor in the delay of receiving our food. It seemed there was a lack of communication between cashier and chef. At one point there was yelling and screaming and dishes thrown, which was alarming, to say the least. At several points, while waiting for the food, the cashier came back to clarify our order. At least twice I asked her to refund my money so I can go elsewhere. I went to Quicklys yesterday night with my bf and friend. The food was very tasty. We ordered the egg puff, takoyaki, and sweet potato fries. However, I give this place a 2-star rating due to mediocre customiser service and poor sanitary conditions. First of all, we ordered drinks with regular boba however, our order came out with tiny boba. The lady explained AFTER THE FACT that they had run out of regular boba. I felt as though they wanted the extra 50 cents worth of business, and they didn't care to inform us of the substitution. Secondly, I noticed that the girl who handled the mop DID NOT WASH HER HANDS before handling the drink orders. She merely squeezed her apron in a half-ass attempt to wipe her hands. How gross is that? They are not compliant with food safety and sanitation laws. What compliant restaurants worker would wear their hair LOOSE, wear FLIP FLOPS, and fail to wash their hands? If you're used to Asian street food then I guess their way of business and sanitation would be acceptable. But, if you're a stickler like me, then be wary. Also, my NFL's drink came out powdery and not fully mixed. There was a glob of powder stuck to the bottom. You may wonder if I have anything good to say. After receiving a couple wrong orders, our correct order came out. We had the egg puff, takoyako, and sweet potato fries. Everything was tasty. Late night tonight we drove all the way from Sac State area because this Quickly was the only one open until 10. That is a plus especially when the late night boba craving hits , and in addition pricing is a few dollars cheaper than the Sac State quickly. We placed our order and when it was called out the toppings on both our drinks were opposite of what we ordered. We notified them and instead of remaking them they just scooped out the incorrect toppings and re served the drinks to us- little did they know they didn't do too good a job of that and my boyfriend ended up with unwanted toppings in his drink and little to none boba when we paid for extra. :( kind of disappointed when I always have good experiences at Quickly! The worst experience ever. The girl hardly spoke English and got my order wrong twice. All I ordered was a large cantaloupe snow with large boba, large peach tea with small boba, fried chicken, and calamari. Their acknowledgement for customers was also terrible. After I ordered for the second time it was then time for the woman behind me. As I waited for my order I noticed the woman that was behind me in line was waiting to be helped for almost 10 minutes and no one even greeted her. Went there after work, about 5:30, ordered 2 large drinks with combination kung pow chicken, took about 30 minutes to get my complete order. However, he gave me the wrong size cup, he said he charged me for only a small, grabbed a random receipt laying around, pointed to it like it was suppose to mean something. Receipt had green streaks on it, they probably ran out of paper. Told him he was wrong and he knew it cause I pointed to the large cup in front of me while ordering the large drinks. He took it behind the counter threw it in large cup added more ice and water and gave it to me. The other customers in line just looked at me with the "did he just do that look", I just said whatever and left. Same guy working the register, cooking, making the drinks and cleaning.
