My kitchen sink was clogged for about 1 week since having a 75ft snake through a promotional…read moreplumbing service (not disclosing what company lol) did not work (it had stopped maybe 50ft in and while being retracted, lots of black sludge flew out). During that time, I had broken some copper fitting pipe parts underneath the sink so I did not put them back together to make sure it worked. Luckily, things happened for a reason so I bought new hard plastic pipes to replace everything but water was still slowly flowing out of my dual kitchen sink. I remembered the person who did the snake mentioned it might be time to get a new mainline pipe which meant breaking the walls and slab since I don't have a crawl space equating to 15-20K or an epoxy pipe lining to make it good as new again for 8K; I have no money for any of that so I googled "best ways to unclog a kitchen sink if 75ft snake fails" and was recommended hydro-jetting from AI. I then searched hydro-jetting Livermore and was recommended Diablo Hydro-Jetting immediately on my mobile phone where I was able to view both their website and Yelp reviews before calling 925-277-0200 on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, Jeff answered my call even while eating dinner who reassured me that he was 100% sure that my kitchen sink can be unclogged since they can blast it up to 500ft and if there were to be any complications that the competitive pricing comes with the drain inspection camera as needed. I truly appreciate Jeff's Team; Jose and Alex for taking on this difficult task. Jose was hydro-jetting my kitchen sink while communicating with Alex who was controlling the unit by the van. Initially, Jose and I feared that the black sludge would appear since pushing water with water and it was in fact what had happened where it was caught in a big metal container underneath the kitchen sink. Jose immediate told Alex to turn off the unit and requested to get the portable compact hydro-jet vac to clean out the container before resetting then restarting a 2nd time from the top with the vac on to catch everything as it goes. Then with some luck, we were able to hear the water flowing after it was unclogged, the sound of success! Jose then proceeded to check my cleanout area which was located outside of my house, opened it and made sure that the same sound we heard in the kitchen was heard there as well. And to ensure that my kitchen pipes were clean, Jose went ahead and did the hydro-jetting a couple more times just in case and even had Alex bring cleaning solutions to help wipe away some black sludge that flew to the side of the cabinet wall. The whole process took about 1hr and the invoice has a limited 90day service warranty guaranteeing against future clogs from reoccurring. This was the best investment I made highly recommended and I am very grateful for Jeff, Jose and Alex; they never upsold me anything and they truly are professionals in the field strictly hydro-jetting and nothing else, established in 1994 with over 32yrs of experience! Thank you once again Jeff from Gordon, my kitchen sink is flowing like Jeff Gordon the NASCAR champ!

The water was coming in at around an inch an hour, and most every plumber I called couldn't get out until the next morning to help. Bryan came over at 10 pm (on a Sunday night no less!) on very short notice, and hooked up his sump pump to get the water out of my basement. Not only that, but because it hadn't quit raining, he left his sump pump for me overnight so that the basement wouldn't just fill back up with water. He must have been exhausted, but he returned the next day with a brand new sump pump to install. And on top of it, his rates were more than fair! Bryan really went above and beyond in my moment of need; I was desperate and stressed and he was so kind. Because of Bryan, the damage was minimal, all my appliances and almost all of my furniture were saved, and the only work I needed done was drywall removal and replacement. I am aware it could have been so much worse and am so grateful for his kindness. Thank you, Bryan!

In this case, our toilet was leaking and they found a crack in a section of the soil pipe. But the quote ($1,200) seemed high. I asked for more details and was told that the job would take 6-8 hours and the materials are expensive. Leaking waste water isn't a good situation so I agreed. The next day the team of two showed up and finished the job in under 90 minutes and demanded full payment. I said I'd talk with Bryan. I inventoried the parts used and priced them at a local supply store: $75. When I asked Bryan to reduce the price since the estimate was so inaccurate, he refused, said I'd agreed to the work, and accused me of taking advantage of their trust. When I pointed out that I trusted them to give an accurate estimate and that I just wanted to pay fairly for what the job actually required, he got angry. Needless to say, I won't be calling them again.

I've been waiting to write this review since day one of groundbreaking. The short version of the…read morework performed is posted below. For those of you who know San Mateo, we live in the Shoreview/Parkside area, east side of Hwy 101. The homes in this area were developed in the early to late 50's. One major known problem with these homes are the shifting soil along with terra-cotta sewage drain lines to the city main. Growing up on this street I now live on, I recall multiple homes in my area with the same problems. Within the first year of purchasing our home, we experienced a pretty severe clog in our pipes. I started with a household snake, Drano, took apart some pipes with no results. I rented a 75 ft. powered snake from Home Depot using the "cutting bit", I began to pull tree roots from my sewage line that attached to the city main. It was a temporary fix for a lifetime of problems to follow. I contacted Roto-Rooter to run a camera through my pipes to see what problems lay underneath. Needless to say, the video reveled multiple problems, such as roots finding their way between the terra-cotta connections, a crack where the pipe 45'd down to the city main and a disconnection at the city main with a 2 in. drop. After years of applying bandaids to this system, it finally failed. Talking to my neighbor, she highly recommended Mr. Waller Plumbing Services (DWP). She proudly showed off DWP's professional work. I personally know Mr. Waller but I did not know the extent of DWP plumbing company or experiences. I knew for a fact, this was not going to be an easy task. Very labor intensive even for the "Big" plumbing companies out there. I contacted Mr. Waller to come out for an estimate. Mr. Waller was comforting, easy to talk to and quickly erased any doubt/anxieties as he described in great detail how the the work was going to be performed. He described possible foreseeable issues which they may encounter during the process. Such as the break at the the city's main wye. We negotiated a very reasonable price, much less than the "Big" plumbing contractors out there and immediately got to work. Note: We we used the City of San Mateo, Sewer Lateral cost sharing program which pays half of the cost of repairs up to $5000 The initial plan was to Pipe Burst but the damage to the pipe was so bad, it would not be feasible. The only method was to trench the pipe across the entire yard to the city main. I did not think it was possible for them to dig out 70 years of packed soil and clay. The soil here is pretty much concrete. DWP exposed the entire line, starting 3-4 ft. down near the house to an amazing 10 ft. down to the city main. We were all amazed at how the pipe 45'd down 10 ft. to the city main. The city main itself was a 10 in. pipe. As DWP suspected the wye at the city main was broken at the main, leaving no material to repair and/or connect to. DPW dug out the remaining section of the 10 in. main and spliced in a brand new section with a wye. Upon completion the City of San Mateo's building inspector came out to inspect the repair and was extremely impressed with the work DWP performed. DWP supported the sewage pipe with bedrock/gravel and patiently back filled the trench allowing the soil to settle uniformly. We asked Mr. Waller not to install the concrete Christy boxes until we figure out what we want to do with our landscape. In conclusion, we are extremely impressed with Mr. Waller's professionalism, honesty, commitment, hard work ethic and dedication to his craft. We highly recommend DWP for your plumbing issues. His work left a long lasting impression, one which caught the attention of my neighbors including my parents that will be requiring the same service for their sewage line.
