My kitchen sink was clogged for about 1 week since having a 75ft snake through a promotional plumbing service (not disclosing what company lol) did not work (it had stopped maybe 50ft in and while being retracted, lots of black sludge flew out). During that time, I had broken some copper fitting pipe parts underneath the sink so I did not put them back together to make sure it worked. Luckily, things happened for a reason so I bought new hard plastic pipes to replace everything but water was still slowly flowing out of my dual kitchen sink. I remembered the person who did the snake mentioned it might be time to get a new mainline pipe which meant breaking the walls and slab since I don't have a crawl space equating to 15-20K or an epoxy pipe lining to make it good as new again for 8K; I have no money for any of that so I googled "best ways to unclog a kitchen sink if 75ft snake fails" and was recommended hydro-jetting from AI. I then searched hydro-jetting Livermore and was recommended Diablo Hydro-Jetting immediately on my mobile phone where I was able to view both their website and Yelp reviews before calling 925-277-0200 on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, Jeff answered my call even while eating dinner who reassured me that he was 100% sure that my kitchen sink can be unclogged since they can blast it up to 500ft and if there were to be any complications that the competitive pricing comes with the drain inspection camera as needed. I truly appreciate Jeff's Team; Jose and Alex for taking on this difficult task. Jose was hydro-jetting my kitchen sink while communicating with Alex who was controlling the unit by the van. Initially, Jose and I feared that the black sludge would appear since pushing water with water and it was in fact what had happened where it was caught in a big metal container underneath the kitchen sink. Jose immediate told Alex to turn off the unit and requested to get the portable compact hydro-jet vac to clean out the container before resetting then restarting a 2nd time from the top with the vac on to catch everything as it goes. Then with some luck, we were able to hear the water flowing after it was unclogged, the sound of success! Jose then proceeded to check my cleanout area which was located outside of my house, opened it and made sure that the same sound we heard in the kitchen was heard there as well. And to ensure that my kitchen pipes were clean, Jose went ahead and did the hydro-jetting a couple more times just in case and even had Alex bring cleaning solutions to help wipe away some black sludge that flew to the side of the cabinet wall. The whole process took about 1hr and the invoice has a limited 90day service warranty guaranteeing against future clogs from reoccurring. This was the best investment I made highly recommended and I am very grateful for Jeff, Jose and Alex; they never upsold me anything and they truly are professionals in the field strictly hydro-jetting and nothing else, established in 1994 with over 32yrs of experience! He offered same day service and communicated with texts to coordinate the job. The technicians arrived late afternoon as promised. I was given a referral to Diablo Hydro Jetting by Gary at Evenflow plumbing, who, if you are looking for a plumber in the East Bay, is best in class. I called Greg Howe at DHJ on Gary's recommendation after he repaired a small break in a 75 year old line, and his inspection revealed to me what 75 years of toilet use looks like inside an old clay sewer lateral. Greg quickly arrived after my set up appointment and explained (very thoroughly) to me, every aspect of what he was going to do. He mapped my 200' line across the street around my neighbor's house all the way to the city main using a transmitter and sensor on the end of his camera. He then used a series of different hydro jets to remove all the years of bacon grease and grossness, all the construction debris from the repair, and even the tiniest of root penetrations until my pipes looked like I was looking at the moon through a telescope on a clear night. Greg was a consummate professional, he was very courteous, and finished our job with a camera inspection from the end of my sewer line all the way back to our clean out, that I can look at on YouTube, or share with future home buyers. Greg at Diablo Hydro Jetting deserves more stars than just 5. I had flooding of a yard drain that moves a lot of water off my property that plugged up and flooded my driveway and garage. Greg returned my call within 30 min. and was at my house almost immediately. When I first called I was taken aback by the quote but after seeing them in action, I understand why. The equipment truck looks like it could take care of any kind of pipe or problem and Greg was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. Within 10 min. he had the problem diagnosed and within an hour he not only had the drain on my property cleared but then continued along the road in front of my neighbors to make sure the water would continue to move to the creek without backing up again. He showed me every pipe in every catch basin and explained what was going on and what needed to be done to make permanent repairs and maintenance. I am writing this review following work performed at a condominium association managed by the company I work for. I have received positive feedback from many homeowners from the community about the job performed - mostly about the professionalism of the individual who performed the work, as well as the cleanliness that was maintained when the work was performed. As a condominium, it is necessary to have regular maintenance on the overhead lines in the garage in order to prevent backups inside the units. In our past experiences, the company we used prior to Diablo Hydro Jetting would allow the sewer water to drop down onto the floor of the garage, which caused a huge mess, fowl odor and the need to extend the project so the garages could be power washed. I understand one of the owners of your company invented the box you used to empty the sewer water into, which prevented every drip of the sewer water from dropping onto the garage floor and therefore eliminated the need to power wash the garage floor following the job. We appreciate the extra step you take in making this maintenance item much less inconvenient for the residents and for professionalism throughout the experience. Just had a good experience with the company. This was also a referral from Evenflow plumbing, another company I trust. Greg was good to explain what he thought the problems were with the sewer line. He showed me the problem via camera, and suggested solutions that made sense. He was careful with the old terracotta lines to be sure not to cause additional problems. Don't be fooled by their customer ratings as they are prompt to bill for the service supposedly completed without proof of service work acknowledged. We had suspicions when the previous property owners and managers questioned whether they were really were on site as previously charged. We were charged for a hydrojetting service approx 9-10 months ago and although it was questionable, we paid the bill anyway. We were very clear from our last conversation afterwards requiring the Diablo Hydrojetting company to have an authorization prior to any service work in the future. Since we didn't have a written contract or verbal consent from their latest billing and we were suspicious that they tried the same scheme with us. When questioned on all of the above, their service personnel (which supposedly is family owned) could not provide us with a signature of acknowledgement of the work nor any authorization.
