Not sure why this place is getting so many rave reviews. We made a deliberate choice to seek this place out, but was quite disappointed. Although the fried chicken pieces were slightly cheaper than the other local favorites, the chicken was just "okay". It was underseasoned and need some cayenne or paprika - ANYTHING to give it some flavor. The fry was quite forgettable and the chicken was slightly dry.. Plus, with no seating and dimly lit storefront, there's no reason to return. read more

Quick pack food mart offers the best fried chicken in Seattle. Yes. The Best. Their methods are consistent and you can expect crispy deliciousness every single time. Call ahead (maybe half an hour) if you want to order a specific amount, otherwise their availability is as hit or miss as a typical gas station market or 7-11 convenience store. I always come here to get thighs and wings. Their wings include the drumstick so one wing is almost like 2 pieces in KFC expectations. Their chicken is fried to a crispy golden color seasoned to perfection. I like that the breading is light, almost Asian-style; quite the contrast to Ezell's or Heaven's Sent thick battered chicken. I'm a big fan of Ma'Ono's as well but their's is significantly more expensive and more crunchy too. No seating. Limited parking. This place is a grab and go place. Highly recommend you go here before 7. Pick up your chicken, then walk down the street to enjoy the food at Standard Brewing and pickup a local craft beer to wash down your food. Excellent vibe, perfect combination. Lastly, I've confirmed on my last trip that their hot sauce is Frank's Red Hot. I had hoped it was some proprietary recipe they made in the back but the store clerk admitted it was Frank's. read more

If I'm in the area, and it's anywhere near lunchtime... this is the place I stop. Chicken is friggin ridonkulous (sp?). I'm pretty sure this't hormone free meat (the mention of "mutant" size pieces isn't an exaggeration), but it sure is tasty. I love getting the 7 piece wing... the "wings" are both the little drum and wing all in one yummy piece. I'm a pig, and it fills me up. Also, the wings are perfect for my patented wing eating technique. Once you've ripped off the drum and mowed it down... take the wing with both hands at both ends and give it a twist. Then gently reach in, grab one bone, and twist/pull it out.... repeat for the other bone (don't forget to eat any meat that came with it... if you did it right though, shouldn't be much). What you are left with is a beautiful hunk of mostly meat, breading, and a little gristle that can be dipped in the hot sauce and shoved in your mouth while your taste buds sing you love songs. Oh yeah, remember that technique is patented, if you use it, I get credit. :) read more

Deadly good chicken! As southern as it gets in the north west. It is not ghetto! Everybody is quite nice and interesting. I get more compliments when I am on Jackson than anywhere else, so I like it! I never get tired of "girl, you're fine! Your man is lucky!" :) read more

Great price for a down n dirty lunch, if you like fried chicken and potatoes wedges. Enjoy this unassuming spot, eat in the parking lot.

Best chicken in town. We goes here all the time for chicken. Big portions and the crust is perfect not too bread like.

Interesting place to find what many people laud as the best fried chicken in Seattle. It is certainly the best value in fried chicken you'll find. A massive breast the size of my face, 2 drumsticks (or wings if they happen to be out) and a wing for $7.50 after tax and their $0.50 credit card charge. The meat is flavor neutral, no brine or smoke to speak of. The coating on the wings was not as flavorful as the breast and was much lighter colored. Their dredge is of the light, crispy, addicting, Korean Fried Chicken variety. While it lacks flavor, their hot sauce (ask for small containers) kept me coming back for more. I really wish I got more dark meat, and for being so far from me I can't say I'll drive out of my way to get back here. read more

Did not live up to it's hype... I actually didn't visit the store since someone else picked it up. I've traveled by many times and it looked like a ghetto corner store that I would not dare visit. He came back with large quantities of fried chicken and it was still hot (melted the take out containers). My first impression was the size of the pieces. Large breasts, good sized legs and wings. The chicken was was full of flavor with a spicy kick. It has light breading yet still crispy but not oily. My favorite were the wings. I will be probably be back for some more wings if I am in the area and it's still light out. read more

Best chicken in town!!!!! Support this business you won't be disappointed! My kids also love their jojos! I love that theirs always fresh hot food and parking! Always a big plus! read more

Pulling into the lot, I was a little confused where to park. There were no other cars and the asphalt lacked lines. Plus, three guys were standing right in the middle of the lot! I parked between the surprisingly numerous dumpsters and a telephone booth. The store was dark inside, but my eyes were immediately drawn to the prize: about forty pieces of fried chicken spread out under a heat lamp. I placed a big order and the proprietor apologized for not having enough chicken. He suggested I call ahead next time so he could have my order ready. Other than chicken, they serve something that looks like a samosa and that's pretty much it: no mashed potatoes, no coleslaw, nothing. Except for the wings, the chicken skin was dark brown and slightly reddish with spices. The drumsticks and breasts were humongous. The skin was a mix of crispy and flacid and had a delicious but minor spicy kick, unlike any fried chicken I've had before. The flesh was moist but not dripping and not very hot. The breasts were most dissappointing, as the white meat was juicy but a bit bland, leaving you wishing there was more tasty skin, but that's often the case. Cheap, tasy and good polite service. I certainly wouldn't bring a date there but if it's a different kind of fried chicked you're after, Quick Pack Food Mart's the place to go. read more

I don't know what is with all of the three star reviews for this place, they must not be fans of fried chicken, or maybe they went at an odd hour when it wasn't fresh. All I can say is da*n this chicken is good. Was at an AmeriCorps team meeting in the neighborhood and was wanting some chicken, and folks started suggesting this place. We got there and it was basically a run down convenience store, I was highly skeptical, but right as we walked in a basket of fresh fried chicken wings went into the case, and for like 5.99, I got 7 fresh fried chicken wings (I split them, my arteries probably couldn't handle it all). Folks behind the counter seemed busy but nice. There weren't any sides or anything besides some hot sauce if you want it, but this is the best fried chicken I've had in Seattle. It was moist, crunchy, meaty, flavorful, and cheap. Bring cash, because, though they take cards, there is a .75 cent fee for using them. Overall, the location aint much to look at, and, like Mikey V. I'm hoping this place doesn't blow up with hipsters, but this place deserves some props for some seriously delicious chicken. read more

Wow the other reviewers aren't kidding. Set your expectations to serious "hole in the wall" when you're driving up to this place. But it's true, this fried chicken is freaking amazing. Super cheap, perfectly seasoned, perfectly fried, and massive portions (I don't know what kind of mutant chickens they used but this leg was the size of a turkey leg). The seasoning isn't spicy, which I prefer, but if you like your wings hot, get the dipping sauce. Other stuff in the store were super cheap too - you can grab drinks for under a dollar. read more

The outside isn't much to look at but by the purple paint you'll know it when you see it. Their chicken though...!!! Get a few pieces, and don't assume you'll share, so get a few more. Throw some hot sauce on them... A few JoJo's, a sambusa! You won't pay more than $10 typically but you'll be amazed at how that chicken changes your life!!! read more

Chicken is the truth!!! So basically this place is a convenient store with one of the best secrets.. That chicken. I work in the area and I kept hearing how good the chicken is. At a potluck at work someone brought the chicken. OH. MY. LAMB. I really don't know how to describe it but really good!! its actually a pretty basic fried chicken but I think that's what makes it so good. A lot of places try too hard that they forget the key ingredient.. the chicken. The also sell jojos that compliment the chicken very well. Other than that its a convenient store in the central district. Typical convenient store goodies. The only difference is the parking lot is always full! **SEE PARAGRAPH ABOVE REGARDING WHY** So there ya have it.. the secret is out... read more

Best fried chicken in Seattle! Truly a hidden gem. The chicken wings are my favorite. Sambusas are also good, but not always available. Always consistently crispy and delicious. read more

I have never struggled to finish a single chicken thigh until I went to Quick Pack. I thought they gave me a chicken breast instead, but nope, it was a thigh that was as big as my face. As long as you don't question the size of the chicken you're eating, then this is the place for you. The fried chicken here is pretty inexpensive for the amount you get and it is so worth it. I don't think this is the best flavored fried chicken I've ever tasted, BUT it's still really good and moist as it should be. The hot sauce they have goes well with the chicken and I've heard it's Frank's hot sauce mixed with something else? Doesn't really matter, just make sure to grab some to go cups of it on your way out. read more

Their chicken is awesome with this price. Though a bit tasteless comparing to others. You need to dip it with sauces

Best fried chicken I've ever had. I'd love to see this place offer an equally awesome rendition of biscuits and gravy to accompany their chicken. read more

Chicken is off the chain! The best I think I've ever had actually. Very moist and flavorful plus affordable compared to other fried chicken joints. I wish they sold bottles of the hot sauce here. *EDIT* someone recently told me the hot sauce is Red Hot, but I swear theirs is better. You may find yourself waiting a bit if there's a line cause the chicken is popular and a few times I've been here they'll make a batch and it gets sold out before all the customers have got their fill, then you've got to wait for the next round of deep fried goodness. But that is soon forgotten the moment you sink your teeth into this delicious meal. It's right between the International district and the central district so not the most glitzy area... but again you're here for the chicken not the environment. Keep that in mind and you will be a happy customer! read more

SEATTLE STAPLE best wings in town! Hot sauce is crinack . Support real Seattle business great good reasonable prices. They remember me from high school always welcome me. If you like Jojo potato wedges which aren't my thing but the ones here are only ones I enjoy. read more

Friendly service and ridiculous chicken. They say nothing tastes as good as skinny feels but that's not true with this chicken. I only had a bite due to my upcoming vacation but when I return I will be their new regular. Note - this is not actually a mini mart....well... is it but it isn't. Just go try the chicken read more

I stopped here twice both times the chicken was fresh and fully cooked. The wings are huge and very juicy.

I used to adore their chicken. I told everyone I know about them. But unfortunately the last 2 times I've been, there was a guy who answered the phone (I always call ahead) and a guy served me. Before it was always women. I don't know if those gals are on a long vacation or something, but the chicken has suddenly gone waaaaaay downhill. Very overcooked and dry. I'm waiting for the gals to get back before trying again. read more

Problvy the biggest and best chicken for the money. I'm definitely coming back for the wings. Biliam and his wife are great.

Was told that this place had amazing fried chicken, but sadly it was just ok.... it's good for a little market place, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Oh well..... read more

holy ____. this chicken is ridiculous. you've probably heard legends about the spicing/breading, but the wings are mutant-gigantic and actually have MEAT on them. and any place I can grab a faux-40 (domestic beer, not malt liquor) with my chicken would usually warrant an auto-3-star. there are never any breasts (oYo) when I roll up roll up on this place, but the cat running the register gave me the number and said that if I called 20 minutes ahead, he'd make some just for me. that's a pretty beautiful thing. read more

Such a hole in a wall that made me question about the surroundings, but the chickens and house made special hot sauce are incredibly amazing! The prices are well under price and the owner is indeed very polite with much manners. read more

Seriously...who knew that a little food mart will make some BOMB fried chicken. I sure as heck didn't. It's a bit sketch but wow, the chicken is soo worth it. It's cheap, it's huge, and it's fried. How can you not love it? Even the chicken breast was still juicy. It is way way better than Ezell's for sure. Try it and you won't regret it! read more

Super unassuming corner store that sells the best fried chicken! I'm not sure what seasonings they use, but they're super flavorful and the skin is always golden and crispy! There's also hot sauce available for those who prefer it, but I think they're extremely delicious alone. Be prepared for a wait as they cook a new batch, as they do sell out frequently. read more

Cant hold on to this secret any longer. This place got supremely good chicken. Simply fried to perfection. And the cool thing about this is its in a sketch neighborhood so none of them prudent types round here. Go eat ezzells goody two shoes. If you ain't from my hood you should get from round here. read more

Crack chicken. Call ahead as they can cook it up fresh for you and you don't have to wait. I don't buy anything else there so I can't vouch for the other stuff. It's crispy, reasonably priced, and not salty. read more

Ridiculous chicken. If you're looking for anything else, i.e. table to sit at, atmosphere, etc.. you came to the wrong place. This place is a hole in the wall mini mart with hardly a thing in it. Did i mention the fried chicken? Thats what you come here for and nothing else. The fried chicken is the best in the city imo. And cheap too. read more

Great for quick chicken. Not a ton of spices in the batter, but it is fried perfectly

I went in here one night to grab a Red Bull. It was amazing. The shelves are barely stocked. There was zero food in the hot case. The woman working the register was talking on the phone loudly and paid zero attention to me. There was another person in there watching tv like a zombie. Maybe they have good fried chicken but we're pretty sure this place is a drug front. read more

After coming in with my children purchasing drinks and snacks at the time of purchase and looking at my receipt I noticed a additional 11 dollars taken off my card, when i called and asked for a refund I dealt with nothing but disrespect from the female worker, but i did get my refund. Then I went in for some chicken and jojos and purchased about 30 dollars worth (payed cash this time) for my family. I called before I went in, made a order and was told to come in 15 minutes so the chicken will be fresh so i did and the line was so long , it seemed they were rushing to get food done , so when i got home I discovered all my chicken was bleeding( a result of rushing), I took pictures and called and was told to call the next day because the manager would be there, I did call the following day and was told to come in and get my money back. wheb i did the same rude woman told me I can't order food from them anymore . and from that day on they have over priced me for everything food is cheap and it's convenient but its unprofessional. read more
