Ethan at Quick Key helped us solve a problem that a different company said was not possible. Our house was built in 1969 & the front door has the original lock & handles from that time, a Baldwin lock in which 1 key slot works the dead bolt & the door latch. The unit stopped working forcing us to come in through the garage instead of our front door. I called a different company with a 5 star Yelp rating, & he said the unit could not be repaired or replaced since it is so old & we would need to buy a new front door & new lock set. Thankfully we did not accept that recommendation. Ethan from Quick Key came over & within half an hour he took the lock set apart, repaired & lubricated it, & it now works like new. While he was here we also had him install a deadbolt in a different exterior door that only had a flimsy handle lock. Total bill for the repairs & the new dead bolt was $280. If we had replaced the front door & lock the cost could have been well over $1,500 including installation, & that would not have addressed our other door that needed work. Ethan was timely, friendly, & professional. He tackled both our problems at a reasonable price. Next time we have an issue with door locks Quick Key will definitely be my first call. read more

We couldn't be more pleased with the service that Guy and Udi provided for our home, and wish there were more stars to add! My purse was snatched recently, and both my keys and wallet with driver's license (and thus my address) was inside. We needed to rekey the entire house, which was 6 doors. Guy came out three times because the first time I had to leave before he could complete the work, and the next two times because the locks on the doors were challenging. He did not charge me extra for the multiple trips. Udi also came the second time to help, and both of them were troubleshooting the challenging doors. Despite the challenges, each of the six doors/locks now work better than they did before! In addition to being friendly and warm, Guy and Udi repeated multiple times how important it is for us to be completely satisfied. Having accidentally locked my keys in my car on the one rainy day in Oct of 2014, I found myself coming up on this locksmith company. 20 minutes to the minute later, I was speaking with Adam as he literally was fishing my keys out of my car with the tool normally used to pop the door open with the inside handle. I needed to have three different doors re-keyed (5 locks total) in our new townhouse, as well as a doorknob replaced that was falling apart. Adam worked quickly and was extremely helpful. He also shaved down one of the deadbolt receivers so that the door now locks and unlocks smoothly. Our 1940s house has some nice 1940s door hardware. It looks cool and adds charm to the place ...  BUT: last night, the ancient lock mechanism on our bedroom door broke and my wife was locked in. After many attempts to break in from the outside without ruining the door, I bit the bullet and called Non-Stop Locksmith. In less than a half hour, Adam was at the door with his toolkit. Because the old mechanism was trashed, he was unable to open the door from the outside. So he went outside, clambered through the bushes and stickers at the side of our house carrying a ladder, and climbed up to come in the second-story window. It was raining and had been for all day, so struggling through the bushes with a ladder was even less fun than it ordinarily would have been. In a matter of minutes, he had the door open and our problem solved. Adam was fast, friendly, and extremely competent; it was great to watch him quickly size up the situation and run through the available options, before going into second-story mode. It's always interesting to watch a real pro at work. I wouldn't hesitate to call Non-Stop again or to recommend them to a friend. Top marks. read more
