Ethan is absolutely FABULOUS! He is extremely nice, friendly, competent, and very reliable! I bought a new key pad lock for my front door and had my dad try to install it, but it turned out to be too complicated for him. Then he couldn't get the original lock back in the door so my home was insecure. It was already late afternoon and I needed someone that day. I called Ethan and he said he'd come and fix my door at the end of his day. When he arrived he explained that I needed an additional part and showed me what to order before the new lock could be installed, and in the meantime he put the original lock back in place and refused to accept payment until I received the new part I needed for a future appointment. When he came for the follow up appointment he showed up on time and completed the install easily and then spent time showing me how to program my new lock and how to change the battery too. The job was for my mother's residence to install a deadbolt on the back door and replace the deadbolt on the front door. Ethan texted my mother when he was 15 minutes away and he arrived at the scheduled time. My mother is usually quite nervous of men working at her residence, but she immediately felt comfortable with Ethan. Ethan was very polite and likable. He spoke with my mom about what she wanted done. He did the work as requested. My mom couldn't stop raving about him! VERDICT Extremely professional, punctual, and friendly locksmith service. No hesitation recommending to anyone! SERVICE Excellent. Not a single thing to complain about. It was an easy decision to choose Quick Key Locksmith as the company who'd change out our locks on our new home purchase. Unlike other vendors I've contacted for service requests, Quick Key returned my call and set and kept their appointment time. In fact, Ethan called ahead of time to make sure I was home and since I was, he came earlier as it was convenient for the both of us. Ethan asked what needed to be done and went to work. My neighbors next door came out and chatted me up and Ethan was already getting to work. I requested an extra dead bolt and to rekey every lock to the same key (I have this *thing* about carrying too many keys). He did so and as an added bonus, he must've adjusted two of the doorknobs that were either sticky or too loose. All keys and locks worked very smoothly. Ethan ,Quick Key Locksmith solved a difficult problem for us. We hired him to install 3 new locks at a fair price . After installing 2 with no problem the front door wouldn't go in. We contacted the company who sent out a replacement part . Meanwhile with no lock Ethan installed one of his to use for no charge . He came back a second time when we received the replacement part and again it was not correct . He advised us to send the whole lock mechanism back to be remade,which we did .
