The front door to my apartment locked after I went to throw out the trash. I called 4 different Locksmiths and none were available for several hours. I found Quick Key doing a Google search and they gave me a 45 minute to an hour ETA. We hired Ethan recently to rekey the locks on our new home. Ethan was very communicative and texted me when he was on his way. Upon arrival, we walked through the property to see the locks that needed to be changed. Ethan suggested some areas where we could increase security by adding deadbolts, but wasn't pushy about it. He worked quickly and made us as many keys as we needed. He also made sure to direct the keyholes in the same upright position, as some existing ones were turned upside down. Ethan came out to rekey my front door. I originally also wanted an additional deadbolt installed, but Ethan explained how it wasn't necessary based on the type of lock I already had. Adding another lock would not add extra protection, as if someone is able to get through the first deadbolt, they can get through the second. So I ended up just having the existing lock rekeyed, which took just seconds for Ethan to do. I really appreciated his honesty and taking the time to explain things. He could've easily did the bigger, more expensive job of adding a new deadbolt, but he didn't take advantage of the situation. Definitely recommend this business. I came home this afternoon, and my rear slider would not open. I finally got it open and called Nathan Amit of Quick Key. I had all my locks redone in 2017 and the service then was incredible, so why not call him again. I called Nathan right away and he was able to come to my home within 30 minutes.
