I decided to visit this QD location because the reviews were more positive than other locations. The check in process via mobile device was easy, efficient, and I waited less than 10 mins after my scheduled appointment time. I want to give a shout out to Crystal Parker, she was incredible, gentle with her hands (I felt no pain at all & I suffered no bruising), and was patient throughout the entire time. Although, a patient was asking her questions from the waiting room area and taking up my "lab time" she still maintained friendly, calm, and kind. I also liked hearing other patients being treated nicely and some where even laughing. Again, kudos to Crystal for her care and kindness throughout the entire process. read more

Quest is a perfect example of using technology to alienate your customers while showing little to no care for their needs. And, people with so little care of others should not be working in health care. My experience began in their Anaheim Hills office at 6:00 am on June 7th. I didn't have an appointment, but thought I would wait for an opening as a walk-in. I went to their office and checked in to their self-service kiosk . Their kiosk was wonky, but after effort, it stated that I was checked in and gave me a number...106. After an hour of sitting in their lobby and watching it fill up and empty out twice, I inquired with a live person (not easy to catch). They told me that "I did not log in correctly and I had to start over". Oh...no, no, no. Your computer said that I was logged in and assigned me a number, and the woman with the number after me has already gone in and left. "Let me check something", she said and disappeared back behind locked doors. 15 minutes later, she had not returned. I asked another woman who came to call the next patient how long I might be expected to wait. She asked if I had an appointment and I acknowledged that I was a walk-in. She said, "We don't accept walk-ins, you'll have to make an appointment". Right on the front door, it said walk-ins accepted. And if you don't accept walk ins, why would you allow your computer to check me in? So I left and went to the parking lot and set an appointment for two days later. On June 9th, I came in and traffic was lighter. I checked in and once again at my appointment time of 6:30. Their kiosk gave me a number, 102. The place emptied out and they still did not call me name. They called a man who had just walked in and I asked, "What's going on? My appointment was for 6:30, Why have you skipped me?" The man they were calling said his appointment was at 6:50 and he offered to have me go first. The assistant then asked for my appointment confirmation. I checked and had not received an email confirmation. She said, "you didn't schedule an appointment properly...you'll have to schedule an appointment". The office was empty accept one other patient that said that I could go first. They still would not see me. This is not health care because that would require care. These are cold people who have worked in health care too long that just don't care anymore. They use technology to isolate themselves. This is not any example of using technology properly. Quest needs a competitor that can step up to the plate and put them out of business. read more

So sad. I went in for a comprehensive metabolic panel with additional/specific thyroid panel with the codes listed and highlighted on the orders. I specifically mentioned the information to the lab tech. A week later, I received a call from my doctor telling me that I had to retake the blood tests again since Quest had NOT done the correct tests. I would not have minded but for Quest to do the work, they demanded payment ahead of time and I had reviewed the labs while in for the blood draw. Needless to say I WILL NOT USE this lab for any blood work that need to be done in the future. And this is not a specific incident of disappointment I have had with Quest. Their customer services is lacking, their employees interaction with the patient is sorely lacking in comparison with LabCorp. When I arrived at approximately 7:35 am I was greeted with rudeness and hostility toward my request for a drug screening, I was told by Michelle, "we don't do drug screenings at any of these types of locations, and haven't for at least 2 years at this location". Because of the misinformation I have now wasted time and financial resources only to be treated poorly by an obviously under trained staff. If you are a business that cares about your future employees I would not recommend contracting quest as they do not have convenient hours or employees with appropriate levels of customer service or empathy. read more

Quest Lab Glendora was a good place to get your lab work but things have changed. They said my PSA test may not be covered and the cost will be $140.00. I called Medicare and I am allowed to have the test once a year which I have not taken the PSA test for 2 1/2 years. Something is going on because in the morning the lab was almost empty and even in the afternoon it was almost empty. It's was crowded a while back but now there is hardly anyone there. read more

This is absolutely the worst health services I have ever used! To start of I scheduled my appointment in Seguin Texas I arrive to my appointment where I am called to the back. Right away the phlebotomist looks at my paper work then sends me to another room where he proceeded to help 2 other people. Then he calls me back to the room draws my blood and sends me away again. He then helps another 2 or 3 people before calling me back. Just to tell me he would be looking for a container for a 25 hour urine collection. Once again he helps someone else before calling me back to give me a container. I was there for over an hour it was ridiculous. His name was Francisco. Next was waiting for results they give you a time period of a week or so we'll 3 weeks had past I had 6 of 14 results (which one of the 6 was just a duplicate) so I reach out asking about my other results. This is where I got the run around. First I was told there were no more results. Then I was told they are pending (non were in the pending section of the app). After that I was told they are taking a little longer. Well here I am over a month later still missing my results. Now I am dealing with identity authorization basically I have answered 3 sets of questions 10 times and I keep getting locked out for 72 hours because they couldn't find someone I associated with. ( I'm assuming it's my grandfather who passed away) I'm not sure. But at this point I don't believe I'll ever be able to get my results. Moral of the story do not trust quest. Do not go to quest. This place is one big scam. My doctor asked me to specifically go here and I will never do that again next time I'll be telling them no I can get the test done at a more professional establishment. This is now my second time coming to this lab and even though there are other Quest labs much closer to my home than this one, I will continue to come here because of the quick service and amazing staff. I am one of the most difficult patients when it comes to drawing bloods. It's not only hard to see my veins, but it is also hard to find it as well. This is why I hate getting blood work anywhere outside of a hospital because I hate the risk of being poked 3-4 times with no success. When I read reviews about this lab, I was still a little hesitant but found that they had the best reviews about being able to find the veins quickly and easily. This I found was true! Not only were they able to get me in and out of the lab in about 15 minutes or less, I was also able to get my results fairly quickly as well. I highly recommend creating an account with Quest online so that you can get your results if your family clinic doesn't have an online portal where you can see it. (11/100 - 2018) read more

Blood draws aren't easy for me. The last time I came to Quest in El Centro they poked me 4 times before finally getting the blood. They told me to let them know next time I come in that I need the best most experienced tech because of my veins and that I need a butterfly needle. I told them that but the tech was sure she could do it. She was wrong. She had to "fish" for the vein. They also aren't great with appointments and their check in system. I couldn't checkin from my car so I went inside 5 minutes prior to my appointment time. There was a man trying to checkin. He was having problems. There was no one at the front desk. After 20 minutes of him trying, a nurse came out to call in a patient and I asked her to help the man. She got him checked in. Then I tried to checkin, but it said I was over 10 minutes late for my appointment and had to be treated as a walkin. I was there another hour and 15 minutes before I was taken in. read more

Best quest location I've been to yet. Like all these medical centers drive carefully as you find a spot to park since there are patients walking around everywhere and the drivers can be a bit unpredictable. Place is crowded but no traffic bottlenecks and the building is close to all the parking which is nice. When you get inside the office you check in electronically with simple tablets, entering either your information or your appointment confirmation number. Then the TV in the room tells you your estimated wait time, though it seems pretty inaccurate. The staff seems almost entirely bilingual, catering to Spanish speakers which is important for the area. Unlike the terrible phlebotomist and blood-drawing experience I had at the last Quest location I went to, the employee who took care of me made sure my time there was as quick and painless as possible. Barely felt the needle with no bruising or discomfort afterwards, which means a lot to me since I have a sensitive nervous system. Definitely going to make this my go-to spot for future lab tests. read more

My appointment was at 2:40 pm. I arrived at 2:30 pm. I was seen an hour later. No receptionist. I asked two more people if in the past they had seen a receptionist. They had not. While my blood work was done, I noticed a bunch of paperwork strewn on a seating chair. The two assistants that were left working were apologizing continually for the delay. Please remember, that delays are the rule. I know, because I used Healthlabs.com to get my blood work done, and when I tried to book this particular Quest I got a warning that there are many complaints about delays. I tested 72 hours before my cruise and they claimed they couldn't find my test even though it was accepted in their portal. They also lost the tests for two other people that are traveling with me.
