Quest diagnostics is a great resource, but aside from the medical staff on site they are not consumer friendly I had to cancel an appointment last minute. But trying to do so was very confusing. By the time I figured it out, it was already passed the scheduled appointment time. When I entered my appointment code into the change appointment link, it would not except my appointment code. Quest does not have a phone number that you can call in order to reschedule, I have been trying to locate one for three days. I have left messages on their customer service corporate hotline number, as well as e mailed them Basically, if you need to reschedule an appointment you're in big trouble. Bob K read more

My appointment was at 2:40 pm. I arrived at 2:30 pm. I was seen an hour later. No receptionist. I asked two more people if in the past they had seen a receptionist. They had not. While my blood work was done, I noticed a bunch of paperwork strewn on a seating chair. The two assistants that were left working were apologizing continually for the delay. Please remember, that delays are the rule. I know, because I used Healthlabs.com to get my blood work done, and when I tried to book this particular Quest I got a warning that there are many complaints about delays. That was the Quest in Summerfield, Florida. read more

I set up an appointment for COVID test at the Saugerties NY office by their phone automatic system. When I came they refused to admit me saying I had to have a referral and then set up account with them. This information wasn't given to me on the phone. I wasted 3 hours of my time because I live far from that office and it was a long drive. The office was completely empty, there was no one there except one lady who turned me away. Terrible, not worth even one star! read more

Horrible clinic, I only used them because the hospital waiting room was full from vivid patients. First off they charged me to be seen ( in which they didn't do anything or solve any issues with me) then they charged my money insurance then they sent a bill stating I owed them more money and then sent the whole bill to collections, I contacted them and they wanted me to pay the part that got sent to collections on top the rest I supposedly owed them. so basic I was supposed to pay 4 times to show up to their office and wasn't helped, their customer service was very rude and I'm surprised theyre still in business they are a total rip off but I guess the price you pay for convenience? What a joke I'd give them 0 stars if I could and strongly I do not recommend them or their service!! read more

I have a 10 month old. Alvin D did some exceptional work. Make sure if you have a baby, you ask for him. Hydrate them well and give them to Alvin. My LO cried for 5 second when the needle goes in, it sure hurt a little bit but Alvin did got the vein the first time, that's it. Just make sure to give baby milk/water beforehand. I also gave my LO a piece of teething cracker afterwards and just like that it seemed nothing bad happened. read more

Web portal is beyond frustrating. The site cannot even be reached half the time; clear cache, incognito mode, try different browsers might get you to the login, but even after logging in, it's not clear that you're logged in (Reads "Log in" in the upper hand corner). Registration process was a nightmare. Fields reject information without any helptext to guide the user; scrolling within scrolling makes submission difficult; photo upload (had to register a minor too) failed repeated despite right format and size. Husband's account completely failed to generate; mine did after a few attempts; minor's didn't generate without a phone call (which was not clear that was needed) Chat bot couldn't help. Five phone calls over three days later, I got the results via a separate email platform that I had to register for. Sent in a compliant of the above. Response was that the test results aren't ready. Only saving grace is that the customer service representatives are nice. They all contradict each other on how the portal works or how their process works but that's on the larger system - It's just too complicated. Overall, worst portal experience and we are considered tech savvy. If you aren't, don't bother with the portal, just call them or your doctor. Or better yet, avoid them altogether. read more

I had to go back for a second trip because the phlebotomist botched the order. Despite showing up more than a half an hour before closing time (and with NO ONE ELSE in the lobby), some heavily perfumed lazy employees told me they were closing early and turned me away. I am a disabled person and it's an ordeal for me to get out of the house. I was in tears, but some woman named Kate kept saying, "I'm sure you understand we want to go home early." NO, I don't understand! This is an evil monopoly with lazy, cruel employees who routinely close the clinic early, turning away SICK and DISABLED patients with 40 minutes still left on the clock. AWFUL, AWFUL service. The hours are limited and appointments always full, but people have real medical problems that require same day tests. I waited for 45 minutes to speak to a human being to see if they could work me in the next day even though the schedule was full. NOPE. All I got was a call center in another state. How can a town the size of Woodland allow for a laboratory monopoly? We should have a choice. On other visits, they had no toilet paper, nor trashcans in the lab. I had to carry home to dispose of my my lab sample containers. Every time it's an INORDINATE LONG wait despite having an appointment. They try to trick you into paying for tests and will not refund the money. During the pandemic they stole millions from the public in tests the government was providing for free. read more

This is the one and only Quest location that I go to. Excellent staff, who know what they are doing. Had blood work today and told Nick about concerns as I'm a "hard stick." Smoothest Blood Draw Ever! A lot has changed since my last experience getting blood drawn at a Quest. I love that I was able to preschedule my appointment online and pre-register. I was texted a reminder with a link for directions. When I arrived I was happy to find this location has a free parking lot. Upon walking in the door, I checked in at the kiosk which had 3 options: enter name dob etc, or appointment number or scan the QR code that was emailed to me. I went with my name etc because I know that info by heart. Next, I noticed a TV in the waiting room showing the partial name and estimated time for each patient. Wow! Technology and progress. My wait was minimal. I was called up to the counter for a copy of my insurance card then taken right back. My phlebotomist Erlinda was very kind and took my blood like a pro. I am a tough stick with an irrational fear of needles, but she didn't hurt me at all and was just so pleasant that I felt at ease. I highly recommend this spot for your next blood draw. I know I'll l never go anywhere else! read more

Had an appointment at 10 and was out of there by 10:26! The whole 26 minutes consisted of me writing down and them inputting my insurance information, the blood test, and the urine sample. Like most people, needles are not my friend. I made an appointment for a blood test a week before my appointment and was anxious about it ever since. The office is very clean and looks well-organized. The two guys up front were nice and funny. They made me feel comfortable immediately. Virgie drew my blood. She knew I was nervous and talked to me the entire time and had a super calming and fun demeanor. She checked both arms for the best vein instead of asking if I'm right of left handed. I *barely* felt the needle and she took 7 tubes of blood. I can't compliment her and this office enough. It was the easiest blood draw I've had. read more

If I could give a zero or -10 to this... If I could give a zero or -10 to this company I would. Absolutely pathetic! I've been there three times in a week. They do not have any receptionists and the check in machine that they have has not been working for three weeks. The technicians at work there are overwhelmed, frustrated, and as a result nasty. Walked in today for an 8:40 a m Appointment and they were 12 people waiting, no receptionist, and nowhere to sit. Finally a technician came out and started screaming at me for asking questions. They do not have any receptionists at any of their locations! The scary part is that they are dealing with important blood tests for all of their patients/clients.The most unprofessional, ridiculous, business I've ever seen. Avoid this company at all costs as they seem to feel cost savings on a receptionist is more important than professionalism and safety for their customers. DISGRACEFUL ‼‼‼‼ read more

I just had one of the worst medical experiences I ever had, at Quest Diagnostics (Marlborough, MA). I had a standing order to get 2 blood draws for testing, this being the second one. I had an appointment with my doctor on Thursday, and these samples were to be taken a few days before the appointment. First I went there yesterday (Tuesday), and found them closed during business hours, due, according to the note on the door, an emergency. Fine. No problem. So I came back today, at noon (their hours are 8-5). It appeared there was only one person ahead of me, so I thought "great! This will be over in a minute! NOT! SHE REFUSED TO SEE ME! She said she was going to lunch. I said I just got here, and how long can it take (I know it takes about 2 minutes)? She spun on her heel and went into her office to do the other patient. When she came out she said "I'm not going to see you." I am getting a little impatient now. I ask, "why not? You are open, it is during business hours, and your website says you are open at this hour." She says "there's a sign out front" (which I DIDN'T see), which I argued was too little, too late, since I couldn't see it until I got there. She then turned on her heels, went into her office, and closed the door. I wasn't done. I opened the door to her office (but didn't enter) and said "listen, I was here yesterday, and you were closed during business hours, so I come here today and now you won't see me?" She told me to get out, or she was going to call the police! I was flabergasted! I said something to the effect of "that's outrageous!" Then I pulled her door closed (it may have slammed a bit), and I left. I believe I know where this rude person was coming from, and might have been sympathetic if she hadn't been such a colossal (pejorative of your choice)! From several interactions with Quest Diagnostics, it is clear to me that Quest works its employees like dogs. There is only one person on site, and apparently, no provisions are made for lunches or breaks, of any kind. They must be breaking whole rafts of labor laws... I will NOT be doing business with Quest Diagnostics in the future. read more

This is a review for Quest's scheduling. Their lab techs are wonderful- they get 5 stars.. Quest scheduling SUCKS! Their online and phone scheduling is "ATROCIOUS"!! They show available appoints starting at 7am for sites that dont open until 7:30am. So If you make an appointment at 7:15, you end up waiting outside for 1/2 hour until the lab opens.. Next: for appointment people, if you are 5 people behind to sign into the kiosk, you are now late for your appointment and now classified as a walk in and have to wait with the walk in's. Just do away with the appointment hours and stick to pre-registration only, it would make some 80+ people happy.. Scheduling is totally unacceptable. read more

Made an APPOINTMENTfor 11:30 ... you check in by kiosk...they have an electronic board telling everyone when it's your time. (Three times the board stated my wait time was 1 minute and was bumped back to 10 minutes. They had twenty people in the waiting room... 80% were walk-in's and they were waiting for HOURS. (Waiting room was hot ... air conditioning must have been set at 80 degrees... no airflow, room with 20 plus people , no human being employee up front.... didn't feel in a comfortable in a space like this given delta variant so I kept walking out and in. Once I got in the phlebotomist was responsible for doing all the paperwork and registration. She was professional and pleasant but I won't go back to this location (or Quest again) if they all operate on this manner (I think I'll go to one of the hospitals for blood work in the future) read more

Hello, I am writing to file a formal complaint against Quest Diagnostics. Last year in 2021, they made errors in the handling of my blood work that was taken ahead of my annual doctor's appointment. Due to their errors, I had to fast again and have all of my lab work redone. I had it done at a different place the 2nd time since I no longer trusted them. A few weeks ago, my family had to get covid tested prior to travel on a cruise. We ended up Scheduling our covid testing at the Quest Diagnostics location in the Winter Garden, FL. Walmart on New Independence Pkwy. There was an initial hesitation to schedule this here after my prior experience but we assumed that they couldn't possibly mess up again but we were wrong. My family of 4 had appointments for our covid tests on Friday, July 29 in the morning. We pulled up to the drive-thru on the side of the Walmart Quest Diagnostics where we communicated with the attendant via camera. We were given a covid test kit for each of us and the attendant watched each of us swab our nostrils and submit our kits. We were initially told that we would have our results back within 12 - 24 hours. Please note that our cruise was to start on Sunday, July 31. I started to receive emails at around 3am from Quest Diagnostics on July 30. The initial email stated that my test results were ready. However, when I logged in my My Quest portal, I was concerned about what I was seeing under my name. It appeared as if the lab was not testing for covid for me but instead was running a regular lab order for me when no blood sample had been taken. I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to locate a human at Quest Diagnostics that would help me confirm if there was an issue. It was not an easy task but I finally dialed 866-697-8378 and at around 8am; I spoke with Alexandria and then later Mina. They could see that there an error that took place again and that an incorrect order was submitted. Apparently, the system went to run a regular lab order for me even though I had submitted a nose swab and no blood sample. Mina made a call and was trying to correct the issue with the lab. I believe the lab was as follows. TP Quest Diagnostics Tampa 4225 E Fowler Avenue Tampa, FL. 33617-2026 Director: Glen L. Hortin Later in the day on Saturday...I received notifications that the test results for my 2 children were pending as my husband received the same notification for his test results. We then received results later in the day for my children and husband that they were negative for covid. However, my results were still showing pending. Due to our prior experience with Quest Diagnostics, we decided to make a Plan B as we did not have faith that we would get results back in time for our cruise. We made plans on Saturday to be tested that same day by another lab (not Quest Diagnostics) and thankfully received my negative covid test back the same day. If we would have solely relied on Quest Diagnostics, we would not have been able to go our vacation/ cruise. When my family returned from our trip, I saw that I had received an email from Quest Diagnostics on Tuesday (2 days after my cruise departed) stating that they were not able to provide results. I also received a generic email/ survey from them when I had returned from my trip. I answered of course and did not give them a favorable review. Do you think that anyone from Quest Diagnostics has reached out to me? No, they have not. I honestly do not think that they really cared that they messed up for the 2nd time now. I will NEVER go to Quest Diagnostics again. They are not capable of handling lab tests in the proper manner. read more

Quest labs in Beverly Hills is badly run, rude and unorganized. When someone is at the front desk, which is not often, they are not helpful. There is a line and if you log in later than 10 minutes (the line can take that long) you may miss your appointment. And if your doctor faxes your order they can't find it unless you have the date the doctor faxed (why would your doctor send the time and date of the fax?). Then they can't find the fax and say "we get hundreds of faxes". Find any other way to get your labs than using this facility. It's a sad statement about our medical services. read more

The Quest Lab at 27699 Jefferson in Temecula is horrible! I will say the techs are fine, but there is no receptionist, and too many appointments are booked. I was supposed to go in for a 9:45 appt this morning. I checked in on my phone, and went in when they tested me to tell me to come in. At this point it was 20 minutes late. I then waited another 20 minutes until a tech said there were too many people in the waiting room (25 people at this point in a room which should only have 5). Many of us were whisked outside; they had said they would come out and call us when ready, but no one ever came out. Upon asking others when their appointments were, I found that several were called before me, even though their appointments were significantly later than mine. Unfortunately, I have experienced this before at this lab. I will not go there again. It is too bad because it is not the fault of the techs but rather the running of this office. read more

Quest does not offer patient CARE. With their all computerized system of making appointments and checking in, they have eliminated any personal treatment of the patient. Not everyone is computer savvy, and even those who are experience trouble making online appointments and checking in. There is no phone you can call and speak to someone. They have now walled off the reception area so there is no person to help when you check in. I've watched people struggle. This is unconscionable. The patient is doing all the work, and with a great deal of frustration at times, all to save Quest from hiring a person to handle the telephone and reception. This is all for Quest's benefit and zero for the patient's benefit. read more
