Quest charged insurance $241.84 for a Vitamin D test. Blue Cross Anthem decided last year 2020 not to cover this test anymore for general health. Don't know how customers suppose to know this as you can't find on their website Easily like you can with prescription costs. Quest charges $69 for a cash price. Quest would not change price for $241+ . What a rip off since insurance if covered would only pay about $40. read more

I went to this location this week for a blood draw. This is still THE BEST Quest location in the area and it's no wonder their Yelp rating is the highest out of any other location I know. Make an appointment online and you'll be in and out of there before you know it. Other locations that I have been to, even with an appointment you're often times waiting and waiting and waiting. Service is second to none. Everyone is friendly and pleasant, from check in clerk to phlebotomist. The office is extremely clean. Not that they needed it but they remodeled about a year ago to update their look and in turn, make it more consistent with other locations. But even though it's a similar Quest look, it's visibly cleaner than other Quest locations. Without hesitation...5 stars!!! read more

This location is very good! -There is NO parking fee! -with an appointment, I spent there less than 15min including waiting time. -The office was very clean. -People greeted me with a smile. And I felt a minimal pain. -Everything went very smoothly. No complain :) read more

I made an appointment way in advance during my lunch hour and had to wait over 40 minutes making me late on returning. If you can not accommodate the 2 people You serve at a time then either hire more people or make the appointment availability for 1 person. I'm stressed and annoyed read more

This is the worst company to take a drugtest. I've been trying to take a test to get a better job and there is hardly any appointments available and they only do them for a couple hours a day. i took time off and lost money and i still haven't gotten a test. if your thinking about having these guys do your ua don't do it. read more

Too bad can't rate zero stars. Never sent results to ordering physician. Won't answer phones. Web form requesting assistance apparently ignored. Phone system is a joke, taking several minutes before getting to the point where you're informed (by machine) that no human interaction is possible, and there's no option for leaving voicemail. This is the worst joke of a medical services provider's incompetence I've seen in my very long life. All other rating services have them at 1 star. The positive ones here must be phony. read more

I have been to various quest locations. This is the second time I've been to the one in cedar lane in Teaneck and the same tech is awful. She's rude and has no bedside manner at all. The first time was with my frightened 10 yr old who she wanted to throw out because she was afraid. Today she let the door go in my face because I wasn't wearing a mask! I'm a paying customer and don't expect this treatment from anyone let alone a fee for service based visit! read more

It is irritating to go to the trouble to make an appointment and complete all the check in and insurance procedures online ahead of time, all done in the interest of saving time, only to get there and, despite having made an appointment, have to wait 30 minutes. The phlebotomist was very nice despite being stressed since she was the only one there. There's simply no excuse for this poor staffing. It demonstrates utter disregard for the patients and our time. If they know they can't handle a certain number of patient in a given time then they should spread out the appointment times so they can stay closer to your appointment time. Additionally, they no longer validate parking so as you sit there waiting for your appointment the clock is ticking on your parking rate. This is for the Quest diagnostics location at 1010 La Veta in Orange. I've gone here consistently and notice that despite their efforts to automate the check in process the wait times just get longer and longer despite getting an appointment. The automated check in process does have one advantage: as a customer you no longer have to interface with the front desk staff which is consistently sullen and rude. read more

Lab reception was non existent and check in process wasn't clear. Eventually signed in to a check in kiosk and was advised of a 7 minute wait. But then a human was actually seen that stated in a relatively rude, condescending way that the 7 minute wait didn't pertain to me as I was getting a pre employment UDS and I needed to make an appointment. She then emphatically stated I could come back later. Keep in mind no one was waiting or in the back lab area. I made the appointment - easy process. While there a lady came in am forgot her COVID mask. She graciously asked for one but was denied. Really, in a medical lab you can't give her a mask? Really a bad scene at this location in Spokane. Bad customer service all the way around. read more

Quest diagnostics were used by an urgent care clinic I took my children to for Strep tests. They took over 5 days to get the test results back to the clinic, which is of course worthless information at that point and then proceeded to charge me $400+ for two tests. When I tried to contest the bills they refused to help and said only the provider could contest. The provider was too overwhelmed or incompetent to do this on my behalf. If you are going to bill someone and that person finds a fault in your service then they should have every right to contest your billing. read more

Horrible customer service. Don't use this lab. Tried to get my lab work done several times to no avail. Even with my Order in an email, they said it could only be faxed. Who uses faxes in 2023? Their technology is stuck in the 1980's and they just don't care about helping you at all. Don't use this lab. read more

TERRIBLE!!! Read everything you are giving consent to before agreeing to there terms. I was required to test through them by way of an at home test. When my results came in I tried to review them and need to agree and consent to 9 paragraphs of stuff that had nothing to do with my covid test. I called and since I won't agree to to what the lady called just a "general form they use for everything" I wont be able to get "MY" results. This is ridiculous. I have went elswere and recieved results without consenting to all the things quest wants access or permission to. read more

I do not write reviews often. I have been to the Bonita Beach location before and have agreed with the reviews you see posted. Nasty people who treat everyone like trash. I never let it bother me...figured that's their problem and not going to let them affect me. HOWEVER...I went today for my annual bloodwork and the place is amazing! A 100% turnaround. Must have new management. Check in process is automated and of course elderly people often have a problem with that. A young woman with a big smile on her face patiently guided me and others thru the process. I went inside (on time) and was greeted by another young happy woman with a large smile on her face. She expertly completed the bloodwork and I was on my way. Management realizes it is just as easy to treat people (even the old crabby ones) respectfully as the opposite. Quest...you made my day! read more

Don't go to Quest without an appointment. I always make appointments but I guess it didnt take this time. I took the walk in option. Bad choice, been here two hours now. Do I leave? Dr. Appointment is in two days. If I leave I'll have to reschedule my Dr. appointment. read more

Quest LOST my drug screen sample. Like it never existed. If they can lose a sample they can most definitely mix up samples. Use another collection and test laboratory. If I could give negative stars I would. Totally unacceptable. read more

They need to reinvest in their platform. It takes forever to get your results back. I think their server must still be running DOS or maybe they use the pony express. If you like hearing "I don't see your blood draw order in the computer" this is the place for you. I have fiber optic internet that speed tests to around 40 Megs per and I still have to hit refresh about 20 to thirty times just to access the site. If your looking for a great business opportunity open up a reliable test site near their location. I'll be your first customer. Mike C. read more

WARNING- QUEST DIAGNOSTICS IS AVERAGING 8 DAYS TO GET COVID-19 RESULTS. This is longer than any other lab I have heard of. I am on day 7 and am the only out of the 20 in my office tested to not receive results. This is complete incompetence!!! read more

The branch located at 801 Ham is the absolute worst. The covid protocols are completely disregarded. They are allowing patients waiting to not wear masks and they are not doing any wiping down of screens or chairs in the 3 hours that I've been here. I had an appointment this morning at 7:00am at the Kennett Square, PA location. When I arrived for appointment, there were six unhappy people standing in the hallway in front of the door. Door was locked and no activity. My wife had the same experience at the same location last week. After a 40 minute wait in the hallway (others had been there longer) the staff person came rushing in, mumbling to herself, unlocked the door, and let it slam in everyone's face. This morning I and most others left after standing in the hall for 45 minutes. I tried calling the corporate help phone line to report the problem. After 12 minutes of dealing with the phone AI, I finally was connected to customer service line only to be informed via recording they were closed and then promptly hung up on. Fantast service Quest. read more

This is for QD office in Orange. Some staffs are rude who won't bother to respond to any patients in the lobby. Why? Because there are 2 check-in devices in the lobby that take away human interactions. But Kay, Latoya & Nick are extremely pleasant. Nick even came over to help comfort my 9yo even though we weren't his patients while being rudely accused by one of his coworker for stealing her bag/samples when she had misplaced them. Just request for either of them. read more

I should give Zero star if there was one to choose. Staff are rude, I brought urine specimen to be tested, they had told me just to drop off the specimen anytime no appointment required. However when I came to the lab they made me wait and told me I need an appointment. I had my car on parking meter I was worried that I might get a ticket. This place opening time and policy is inconsistent I would never come back again. read more

I scheduled a walk-in appointment online. When I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time I was turned away because they said they aren't taking any more walk-ins at this time. I understand turning away people walking in without pre-registering, but I had a text confirmation confirming my walk-in time. This was very unprofessional & a huge inconvenience for me as I had made arrangements for child care for my children. The employee who turned me away said the website isn't accurate. If that is true I suggest Quest fixes their site ASAP. read more

Today I went to Quest for lab work ordered by my physician. Unfortunately, my Doctor's office had not sent the order to Quest. Lili were so nice and helpful. I told her I would step outside and call my Doctor's office and she said she would put me back at the top of the list as soon as I as I returned. I told her, no need, I was in no hurry and could wait! When I returned, Lili immediately advised me that my PCP had ordered my blood tests. They called me back and the tests were done quickly. What an efficient and very helpful staff they have working in Poway for Quest! Thanks!!! All the labs in the community are busy! It really helps when the staff are friendly, professional and nice! You cannot beat the people who work at Quest! read more

Quest never fails to disappoint. Their practice of automating EVERYTHING is virtually impossible to work with. Unless you have already discerned your resolution to a problem, your absolutely left on your own. I would rather draw my own blood than deal with this company. read more

I wish there was a "no-star" review because even one star is more than they deserve. In a nutshell, I went to get some labs done, and after a week without hearing from them, I decided to call the main toll-free number. After waiting over 20 minutes, the agent that took care of my call informed me that I had to get retested due to "Inconclusive Results." I wish I could say this without exaggeration, but ALL the answers that I received were "I don't know..." I was at a loss for words; I didn't know what to do because all I got from her was the same response. I decided to go back to the testing location to learn that there was a note that I had to get retested, but there was no reason explaining why I needed to get retested. As if I were trapped in an inescapable labyrinth, the woman at the testing center, also responded with "I don't know..." What a disgrace! It is evident that people's health is certainly not what Quest is concerned about. I have tried to call HQs, but that is not an option. You will hear "all of our agents are still busy at this time." read more

***DO NOT USE QUEST DIAGNOSTICS** who is on Hawaii's Safe Travels travel.hawaii.gov list of " trusted partners". We had to cancel our Hawaii trip because we did not receive our test results in time for our flight. We purchased our covid test because Quest Diagnostics website said the Hawaii travel.hawaii.gov covid test result would be returned within 24 to 36 hours. We drove 1 1/2 hours to Palmdale for our test appointment on Nov 18 @ 9:30 am. Our flight was Friday Nov 20 at 6:45pm. We could not do our test on Nov 17 since our flight was leaving Friday evening and we would not meet travel.hawaii.gov 72 hour test criteria. When the test result did not arrive in time for our Nov 20 flight, we were able to change it to Nov 21 @ 9am. We did not receive our test result in time for that flight either. After our test on Nov 18, I called Quest Diagnostics multiple times each day checking on the status of our tests. Each call I was told contradictory information (i.e. The lab was in West Hills, Sacramento; results would be returned within 24 to 48 hours, 3 to 5 days; lab testing was done during regular business hours 5am-6pm, 24/7). One representative told me that they only relay information that is on the website (note: They are closed on Sat & Sun). For visitors who arrive with pending test results, or if there's information problems with your test - don't expect any help from Hawaii. Once you are quarantined at the hotel, you cannot get a test at any of the CVS's or hospitals. There is a mobile testing unit that goes to each Maui hotel each day and they will not allow you to get a test. One person arrived with pending results (Oahu), received their negative results, and was told that they still needed to quarantine for 72 hours so they could manually check the results. I called the Maui visitors and convention Bureau (800-525-6284\808- 244-3530) regarding why major hospitals such as UCLA, Cedars Sinai, City of Hope was not on their safe.travel.gov list of trusted advisors. I was informed it is voluntary to sign up. The required RFP is on Hawaii's government website. The RFP has to go through the government process to be added. Does anyone know if a "trusted partner" testing facility has to pay a "fee" to Hawaii to be included on their SAFE.HAWAII.GOV travel list? SHAME ON QUEST DIAGNOSTICS! DO NOT TRUST THEM NO MATTER HOW CONVINCING THEY SOUND ON THE PHONE! AND SHAME ON HAWAII FOR NO ALOHA WHEN IN TROUBLE! UPDATE: Hawaii Governor Inge passed a new rule. Starting Tuesday, Nov 24, visitors must have a negative test result IN HAND - pending tests WILL NOT be allowed. Quest Diagnostics is no longer listed on Hawaii's "trusted partners" list. Fri Nov 27 (9 days later) - received test results. Had I gone to Hawaii with pending test results, I would have spent the week in my hotel room. Per the Quest Diagnostic representative, they cannot accept or process refunds. The billing number they referred me to rings off the hook - no one answers. Check out the RFP money Hawaii paid out here:https://www.hawaiitourismauthority.org/rfps/ PS - Ignore Quest Diagnostic's reply post to my review. It is a lie. The number they posted is the same number I called multiple times. 3 words for Quest Diagnostics and the Hawaii government - CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT read more

If you are required to get a negative COVID test before you travel DO NOT USE QUEST! The don't make their deadlines and indicate a 2-3 day turnaround time but they could take more than 24-hrs to pick up and record your test sample leaving you in a lurch with a travel ticket that you can't use until you get your test results. Use Walgreens or CVS rapid testing. read more

I had my Covid 19 antigen test on May 11th and still have not got my results. The setting up, and personally paying, for the blood draw was good. But the service after this time was not good at all. A friend had his done and got the results within 24 hours. This is now 2 weeks. read more

Had my Blood drawn today by Kay. I had to ask her name cause I have never seen her there before. this is a great place to go to have your Blood drawn , however today it was not. She seemed uncomfortable calling me in, not friendly at all. No introduction no Hi, nothing. Blood draw time she hurt the heck out of me! I said Ouch! She said nothing. Then when she took the needle out it hurt even more. Come on! She seemed like she did not want to be there at all. Terrible experience for something that should be very simple. I have not had a problem there at all until now. I feel compelled to share cause there was no reason for that kind of treatment at all. I usually love Quest, just not today. read more

The Quest billing dept. has the same horrible attitude as their in lab technicians. They sound as though we are bothering them.

The first Quest diagnostics I went to on 22nd -the techs hate their jobs and make it miserable for you. Then to cap it off, the tech I had never turned in my blood work. I tried making an appt online with another site- since I had to do it over again, and the website makes you put all your info in and shows many open slots--all of which are unavailable when you click 'schedule an appointment'. I wasted several hours with this - Ill run business and I recommend any place but with them. read more

I just visited Quest Diagnostics with my two children today and the lady who greeted us was nothing short of rude. I was wearing a mask and she rudely told my two children under 10 to put on masks. After we graciously complied she then told us there was a problem with our account and she couldn't help us. She could of said it nicely but instead she was extremely rude. Carrie G. Scheduling was easy (although not many appointments first thing which was unfortunate for my daughter needing to give a fasting sample). The technician had one ear bud in and didn't acknowledge my daughter (age 14) except to call her name. She had no common courtesy skills and didn't attempt to ease ANY concerns she may or may not have (first blood draw ever.) There was no description of procedure or any "check-in" to see how she was feeling. I asked her if she felt ok and the technician didn't follow up with anything. I'm extremely disappointed with her lack of human attention/courtesy. We (as patients) are NOT pin cushions- we are people that deserve some common courtesy and for some- explanation of procedure. I hope the manager of the Newington, CT. Quest will receive this review. read more
