Parking can be messy - its part of the St. Joseph's Outpatient Pavilion. The entrance is inside the building - walk past security, and the gift shop. Lobby was surprisingly empty when I popped in a little after the lunch rush hour. There is no front desk/check-in staff anymore. You check-in for your visit at one of two kiosks. You can look up your appt. by your name or confirmation code if you made an appt. Get ready to scan the front/back of your ID. I only waited about 15 minutes after checking-in - the tech that helped me (she had her name badge flipped over so I didn't catch her name) - was super friendly, and provided clear instructions on what I needed to do. I went in for a walk-in appointment. Like many of their other branches, there was no one available to assist or answer any questions. I checked in and waited about 15 minutes before a staff member finally appeared. I asked if I needed to move my car, as I was parked in a one-hour zone. She said it could take longer than that, so I told her I'd go move it. She then informed me that I'd have to check in again when I returned, even though the lobby was empty at the time. I moved my car quickly--it took no more than 5 minutes--but when I came back, I noticed my check-in had been removed. Another person was now seated, and it appeared they hadn't even checked in properly as a walk-in. Before I left, my name had been showing first in the queue. After waiting another 40 minutes, I saw staff tell that person to check in and then took them in before me. When I mentioned that I had been ahead in line, they denied it and claimed otherwise. I've now been waiting over an hour, and they've started calling in scheduled appointments. I would have made one if I could, but this is urgent and has to be done today. Yesterday, I was supposed to have 1 vial of blood taken and Stephanie couldn't find my veins so she proceeded to jam the needle in my arms until I asked for someone else to help. I felt awful and thought I was going to pass out. Finally Steve stepped in and got it right away. It was an awful experience and you couldn't pay me to come back. I went to this quest this morning to get some blood drawn. After researching several quests on Yelp I was a little concerned about what care I might be getting. I made an appointment online and got a text that morning saying to check in through the link when I got to the office. I checked in once I got out of the elevator and as I was walking into the office they called my name to go in the back. So quick!! Robert, the man who drew my blood, was very nice and made me feel at ease when I expressed my discomfort about needles. He assured me it would be quick and seamless and he was right! Barely felt him putting the needle in my arm. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this office to friends and family! read more

DO NOT trust the link they will send to your phone for checking in. We arrived on time, checked in on our phone and received a message saying "no need to check in in the waiting room, just wait for your name to be called". Waited for 15 minutes, our name never appeared on the queue. I go to the kiosk to check in again only for it to say "over 10 minutes late, you must reschedule." Why send the check in link at all if it doesn't actually put you in the queue? Worst of all, the staff was completely incompetent and played dumb when I asked for help. All I got was an "I don't know" and then the only visible employee disappeared to the back for another 15 minutes. Now we have to reschedule as if we were a walk-in for a time slot 2 hours later. A good phlebotomist is priceless when you have a son with special needs- Van is our go-to every time. He is calm, efficient, and skilled. We specifically make our appointments so that we can see him for the blood draw. The office is clean and everyone is friendly. While getting there is a bit of a trek since it's on the 5th floor, we go because Van is there! Make sure to bring your parking ticket because Quest can validate! read more

No heads up about a 10 minutes late policy. I wasn't late. I received a booking e-mail that the appointment was from 12:30 to 12:45. There was NO ONE at the front desk. Only a scanning station. The scanner wouldn't allow me to check in 10 minutes after 12:30. They placed me on standby and another guy told me he's been waiting more than an hour and a half. This place is a joke. read more

Been here twice for my glucose test and all the employees were friendly. Located on the 5th floor of the building, check in was easy breezy, even better if you check in with your phone through the text they sent right when you arrive if you want to be contactless. Front desk person always greets you warmly and the place looks clean. You should always make an appointment online if you don't want to wait, I was seen right away when I first checked in. The phlebotomist that saw me the first time was very friendly and gentle, too bad I don't remember her name. The second one was Diep and she was just as friendly and very personable. I felt at ease right away and she was so gentle that I barely felt her poking my arms. I will definitely come back to this place if I ever had to. Also don't forget to stamp your parking ticket on your way out to save 50% on parking fee! read more

Eva was so unprofessional! I walked in as a walk in checked in on their iPad. Eva was on the phone and quickly shut me down and said she was not taking walk ins at 4:09pm. On the screen it said there was a 3 min wait time as a walk in. Another phlebotomist came out to greet me and asked if I had signed in I answered yes. Eva told her not to see me because she was not taking walk ins. I asked to speak to the supervisor said she had left for the day. Been here twice for my toddler's blood works. Both times, we had a good experience. Staff are patient and don't force themselves into "getting the job done". I can't remember the name of the girl who did his second blood extraction, but she was great. Explained simple stuff to my son which made my son cooperate. I made an appointment and was ready to be seen within 5 minutes of checking in. Renu was amazing! She was very thorough in checking my lab order and even called my doctor's office to clarify something that was unclear on their form, which I appreciated, as I would rather have everything done correctly the first time than possibly have issues later & have to come back. I told Renu I don't like needles & she was sooo calm & patient, she really went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be! Horrible experience with supervisor and check in staff. Only reason I gave this location one star is because of the Phlebotomist (She was patient, friendly and understanding). Had an appointment scheduled for 10:50am Checked in at 10:40. Overheard a gentleman complaining about waiting for an hour as a walk-in. The receptionist and supervisor were trying to tell him that there was a lady ahead of him that had been waiting since 8am as a walk-in as well and that the only time they take walk-ins is if someone cancels. The gentleman was persistent and wouldn't move from the counter. On the screen I was first up as an appointment. I kept monitoring the screen because it was getting close to 11am when I noticed that my name had been removed from the list and the gentleman at the counter (as a walk-in) had been added in my spot. I quickly went up to the counter and pointed out that my name had been removed from the list. As I was pointing this out, they called the walk-in gentleman to the back and let him in and told me that I would be next. As soon as he went in, his name was taken off and my name reappeared. I brought this to the managers attention and receptionist and told them that they shouldn't be picking and choosing who to let in. They basically had cancelled my appointment to free up a slot. Once they put him in to make it seem like he had an appointment, they put me back in the queue. If they have a system in place they should honor it. I explained to them that I knew they had bumped the gentleman (in front of me who had an appointment and the lady who was in front of him as a walk-in) just because he wouldn't leave and was being persistent. I explained that it wasn't fair to the lady who was ahead of him as a walk in or to myself who had an appointment. I also pointed out that I noticed they had cancelled my name as an appointment to put him on the board and if I hadn't brought it to their attention, I would have most likely been skipped over and over until I made a scene. Neither the receptionist or supervisor said anything because they knew I had caught them and what they did. I sat back down and said that I better be next or else I was going to cause a scene (apparently the only way to be seen at this office). I was called in right after at 11:15, 25 minutes after my appointment. If they have a system in place, they should follow it. It was very unprofessional to pick and choose who they were going to see based on how big of a scene the individual could make. Even if you have an appointment, I'd definitely suggest looking out for the receptionist and their unethical behaviors. Or just don't get blood drawn at Quest. read more

Worst quest lab experience ever!! I've been to two other quest labs and have written positive reviews, the staff at this location need to take a customer service training course. Took my two year old son here to get his blood drawn, the lady who took his blood made rude comments throughout the process, was very rough and didn't know what she was doing! She poked around at his tiny arm so much it made my heart hurt seeing her work. She was so rough and rushed throughout the whole process. I had specific blood work that had to be done and the phlebotomist who helped me decided to take it upon herself to remove one of the tests that I needed because she claimed the test could only be done on men. I even followed up with her to make sure that one of the specific tests I needed was done and she claimed it was. I called my doctor the next day to find out that she didn't draw blood for the most important test (the test she claimed was only for men.) They also informed me she has no right to pick and choose which tests are done or not done. That is not her job. I even printed it out for her to help her and she still got it wrong. Now I have to go back again (to a different location) after it was already hard enough to find an appointment in the first place. I'm extremely upset and I would never recommend this location or go back again, especially when they are messing with patients lab tests as if they are the doctor when they're clearly not. read more
