I had a time sensitive order that needed to be finished and I would not have made it back in time towards my usual location. They close at 3:30pm on a friday and it was 3:05pm. Bring in Yelp to the rescue! Asked Siri , "find me the closest location Stat" and onward it brought me to this location in Orange. Parking was a breeze, i was greeted by Edith who assisted me with several of my orders. One of which i had to email. Word to the wise, wifi here is a bit tricky. So, i signed onto their "guest" portal via wifi and after several attempts was able to successfully send the order to them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thank you Edith! I got lucky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It must be noted: Morning draws have to be by appointment: 7:30am-12pm. After lunch, walk-ins are possible. I made it by 3:15pm within walk-in hours and was able to be helped . Key note: this location is located on bottom floor, as you walk inside the building it's straight after security. They are open until 5pm M-F. I had to use the Kiosk to check-in via ID and verify insurance per usual and the rest was sitting in the waiting room. The vibe here is lovely. Its a small waiting room, with limited seating ( i counted 6 chairs) but it has a tv for one to watch while they wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Edith, Brianna and Sherri at the front desk were friendly, welcoming and super helpful with my email/order issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Each Labcorp location has its own vibe. This one is cozy yet uplifting. Once inside the Phlebotomist named: Louis Helped me. My arm wasn't being helpful, and mid-way we had to abort mission. I had a small, tiny issue with vasal -vagal nothing some rubbing ETOH can't handle. Luckily, I was able to get some samples needed for an immediate issue. On today August 5 my doctor provided me with a lab order, which was downstairs at 2501 E Chapman. When I arrived there were many people waiting and I waited patiently. I was lucky enough to have Sherri in drawing my blood and she provided incredible service and patience with a very positive outlook on the whole process. And the reason why I'm writing this review is because I first met Sherry at a labcorp when she first started in Santa Ana where my neurologist had requisitioned 29 vials of blood because apparently I was having some issues. Again Sherry took the 29 vials over a couple of hours putting me at ease and helping me deal with the anxiety. She is an exemplary employee which reflects on the high standards the labcore has when hiring the lab technicians. Horrible service, I had a 9am appointment for lab work, I was 30 minutes early and didn't get into my appointment in 10:05am. Never coming here again. Quest was soooo much better than these guys. If you're getting blood drawn, good luck! The, (truthfully very nice) lady that drew mine went "fishing" inside my arm (if you know you know) and even managed to squirt my blood onto the seat of my chair. A couple hours pass and I'm left with a giant hematoma. No one could resist asking me in person what in the h*ll happened to my arm. "Fishing" for a vein can be dangerous, PAINFUL, and can leave a nasty bruise, and it's pretty common sense among phlebotomists to NEVER do that. Like I said, good luck! Kristopher is the best phlebotomist on the planet! I am a hard stick, I have tiny veins and they float, and he got it in the first try and it didn't even hurt! If I could I will give ZERO ZERO. The LABCORP app is very confusing AND to many steps you follow in order to set an account , once you create a login account it still doesn't work is very frustrating you can't view lab results, why this Labcorp app cannot be linked with Mychart at providence the app for MyChart is very easy to install and very easy to use and to understand , I wish labcorp can change it to make it easier for everyone especially for elderly people that are not to familiar with the system and technology, ALSO I personally was very happy with QUEST DIAGNOSTICS, I'm sad Providence is not with them anymore. This was my first time using Labcorp as a patient and I must say I was disappointed. To start, when I called the customer service line to make the appointment, it was a long wait, and once I had someone on the phone, they hung up on me and didn't call back. Once I called back, there was again a long wait and then the person on the phone transferred me to a different department but sent me to a menu that had me start all over again. The woman on the phone was rude but she got me scheduled. Once I went to the facility I requested, on Chapman Ave. there were 3 women at the front the oldest one was kind and tried helping me, but the two younger women who were training her were of no help. One got up and left, while the other just said that I should've gotten a text or email to confirm my appointment, with a QR code, which was never sent to me. When I told her I don't have one, she just repeated the same thing and remained seated looking at her screen. I stood there expecting her to try and help me but she had nothing more to say to me. I called the number on their door, which is the one I originally called, was able to get someone on the phone who was kind enough to help direct me to the correct location.
