If you could go anywhere else to get an employment screening please go anywhere else but here. I waited for over an hour just to get the screening done but had I know I would have gone to another lab but now that I know I make sure to not ever come back here. It was overcrowded in the morning with nowhere to sit for the first 45 minutes and it just wasn't like quest tbh question labs is more efficient and friendly and welcoming but here was that total almost practically ran like a farm and we are the animals. So if you have other options please go somewhere else anywhere else at this point draw it your self or do it yourself you'd probably do a better more efficient jobs tbh read more

I completed the Labcorp ColoFIT Home Stool Collection Kit, that is I collected the sample, wrapped the sample in padding, placed it into a biohazard bag, completed the paperwork and sealed the bag. I drove back to the clinic to drop it off promptly and the uppity staff person refused to let me place it on the lab sample table. I was so unhappy that I placed the sample into the trash. Waste of my time and effort. No star but Yelp requires one. read more

I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because, to be fair, I was running late for my appointment and they still saw me soon after my arrival. However, I had many choices when it came to which LabCorp location and I simply went with the closest location. Upon arrival, I noticed the lot was not only very small, it was nearly full! And there is no street parking available in this area of Santa Ana. Apparently, I arrived just a little too late: all the spots I originally saw when I arrived I guess had someone waiting to get in because before I knew it, all the spots were gone!! And not only that, it didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon. I had to call the office and tell them I couldn't find parking. Thankfully, they said they will wait for me until a spot opened up. Ten minutes of circling later, I grabbed a spot but it was super stressful! When I got inside the secretary was super rude to me. I walked up to the front counter and before I could say anything she yelled to me "we have over an hour wait, please go to our other location down the street!!" I said ok so I'll be seen an hour after my appointment? To which she replied "oh if you have an appointment then use the kiosk to check in. Of course, I couldn't figure out how to scan my QR code so she reluctantly showed me how to do it. Making sure to make me feel as dumb as possible. Save yourself the hassle and go to another location. ANY location must be better than here. I don't know what it is about Santa Ana but every time I have an event or an appointment somewhere in this city, it is always impossible to find parking and the venues are always packed beyond what they can handle. Yesterday I had an appointment at Labcorp and checked in, waiting in my car as instructed. When I had a question, I went to the front desk, where the two women assisting patients were excellent--helpful and professional. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The parking lot was completely packed, with cars parked in the driveway, along red curbs, and even blocking access points. Inside, the waiting area was overcrowded, with people filling the chairs and standing due to limited space. There were only three blood draw stations and a single bathroom, which created significant delays. One of my biggest concerns was the process for urine samples. Patients had to create their own labels and place their samples on a public table alongside about 20 others. This setup did not seem hygienic or secure. Given these conditions, I did not feel safe in this facility and will not be returning to this location. Lastly, today I see that they made the mistake of bunching up lab results and sending all of them to both doctors. They were not asked to do this. I think this office is overwhelmed and does whatever they can to cut corners. read more

Of course I pull again and to my surprise a receptionist is on the other end!! I was expecting some crazy patient! Oh no, the crazy works there. And the only reason she let me pull the door back open was so she could hustle an old man out the door cause it's lunchtime. She looked helplessly at her co worker for support to help her get rid of me quickly. Oh did I give her a look. I gave her my freeze hell over look that even the old man next her was reacting too. God bless him cause he was in my direct line of bad joo joo fire. I drove to 2 other Labcorps trying to get in cause the hours of operations are different everywhere. Half my day fasting and I'm still thinking about this rudeness. read more

Giving it one star because the receptionist was kind. Other than that, the entire facility was very dirty. Especially disgusting was the bathroom I used to give a Urine sample, to the chair I sat in to get my blood drawn. When was the last time anyone wiped down the arm rests on those chairs and how often is the bathroom cleaned? The seat had feces smeared on it. Big mistake by St. Joseph Heritage in switching from Quest to Labcorp. I will have to go to the Chapman/orange facility for future blood draws even tho I live a few blocks from the Santa Ana location. Also want to mention the waiting room was packed and standing room only at 8:30 am. Thank goodness I had an appointment. However, I had to park at the business park next door. Getting a Saturday appointment means planning over a month out. The hours are incorrect on Yelp. They do have Saturday appointments. I made one for a specimen drop-off because apparently you need one. I tried calling for confirmation but they do not pick up the phone. In fact, the technician at a different location admitted to not picking up the phone at all. So if you are calling, good luck to you. I guess they don't have a receptionist because they have screens you can check-in with in the lobby. Otherwise, I would have just shown up with specimen in hand. They didn't even have me check-in. Dropped off with relevant paperwork. Technician just acknowledged, then I left. No cell phone use permitted in the lobby. UPDATE: Oh, and get this, even though I did everything by the book, the specimen test wasn't run because they said too much time had elapsed from initial collection. I don't know who works at this location, but that is sheer laziness to not run a specimen when it was dropped off ON TIME with an APPOINTMENT. read more

If you've ever been to the DMV...this is way worse!! I was asked by my new employer to take a Pre-employment Drug Test at LabCorp. I looked up their hours online and noticed they close for lunch so I decided to call that afternoon to get operating hours but could not get anyone on the phone. Having nothing to do for the day, I decided to head over to the office around 1:30pm. Inside I noticed the lobby was empty. After speaking with the receptionist I was told that Drug Tests are only done in the morning and end at 11:00. I didn't feel too bad about it but was bummed I made the 15 minute drive for nothing and had to come back the next day. The following morning I decided to be the first one onsite to avoid long waiting times, as seen online. I was the first car in the parking lot before the sun even rose. I arrived at 6:24am and stood by the door in the dark since they open at 7am. By 6:40 there were at least 20 people in line behind me and when the doors opened, there were more than 30 I'd say. I was escorted to check in on their tablet when the nurse asked what I was there for. After telling her I needed a Drug Test, she stopped me and told me check in starts at 8am for Drug Tests. First of all, WHAT THE HECK?!? Why would Drug Tests start at 8 when you open at 7, that's ridiculous. I've been holding my morning pee for you this whole time. I went back to my car and waited until 7:59am. I made sure that I was first to check in on the tablet and was told they will text me when they are ready. The receptionist told me it would be "about an hour." An hour and fifteen minutes later, I decided to go ask the receptionist how much longer it would be, she told me my wait would be closer to two hours now. I finally received my text to return 1:51 minutes in. I spoke with the front desk who asked me to wait aside and they will call my name. 45 MINUTES GO BY and then they finally call my name at 10:36. I go pee in a cup and leave the building at 10:39. I WAITED 4 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES FOR A 3 MINUTE SERVICE!!!!!!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! I have taken multiple drug tests in my life and this was by far the worst experience of them all. At other places, you check in and wait for about 15 mins before they call your name. I came in recently to have blood work done at this location for the first time and my experience was a very positive one. Thank you to the gentleman by the name of Landon who helped me. I was very nervous about having my blood drawn but he kindly and patiently explained how the process works. He had such a pleasant and calm demeanor which put me at ease. I've been told many times previously that my veins are hard to find but he was able to find one right away. The blood drawn was pain free and I didn't even feel the needle going in. despite what everyone says. i had a pretty pleasant experience as a walk in. it's important i clarify that i had came in the friday before around 10:30 and the lady at the front was very blunt and told me that they stopped doing drug test at 8 am (but im pretty sure she meant to say that's when they started and ended around 11:30 because that's when they leave for lunch) because she than told me to come back in on monday right at 8 am so i could be ready for the drug testing. Anyways fast forward to next thursday and i check in at 7:58 and i wait about an 1hr to get called up and hand it my paper work. i didn't get her name but i was trying to talk to the nurse and asked her if i would be seen today or they reached capacity and she kept on interrupting me with "yes" and "okay" and i could not even talk to her so i just said thank you and walked away. i understand she had other patients to talk to but i felt a little hurt she was interrupting me but after that i say down for about another hour and waited to get called up at around 9:40. the actual drug test was no more than 3 minutes. i walk back, she hands me the cup, explains the rules, i go pee, hand her the cup, sign a paper and cup than i'm out. to talk about the procedure more in depth tho i walk back and have to place my things in a box to avoid tampering and empty my pockets, she didn't pat me down but i still took everything out and left my jacket on. she explained that i had 4 minutes to pee and that after i pee up to a line in the cup to NOT flush the toilet or my hands and that once she gets the cup and the okay i can wash them and she'd flush the toilet for me. and to clarify, the toilet waters blue to avoid tampering with test and sink is to to be used after for those reasons. i than handed her the cup. she let me wash my hands than handed me a key to unlock the box and i filled out a form than initiated a little plastic vial with my pee in it and i was good. overall my experience was much more pleasant than the last time i was there but im taking 2 stars off because their communication with patients is atrocious. they fail to communicate proper times with patients until after they're checked in (what happened to me that friday) and overall wait time just sucked but i get they can't control that. i really hope they'd have their rules posted online or out side but since they don't ill share them. Once a day they will take up to 15 walk ins and after that you'll have to come back after lunch times where i think the count re sets (?) as i was ese dropping i didn't really understand what the nurse meant but she did say its a new policy they're starting. but as a professional work place they should have the competence to post their PROPER hours and clarify. To end my final notes are GET THERE AT 8. from what i heard i don't think they accept walk ins at 7 and the window is from 8-9:30ish basically. 15 spots fill up quick so be ready with PAPER WORK, ID, SNACKS (if applicable) and SOMETHING TO DO. my time went my so fast because i was watching my show; yes id get impatient but overall it started to go by really fast when i was distracted. read more

Please call back at another time. Doesn't even have the capability of leaving a message we also went to the one on 17th St. in Santa Ana and we signed in. We had an appointment which meant we had to go back home because the appointment wasn't for two hours later, we go back two hours later and the system had malfunctioned and our name was not it and the technician refused to squeeze us in so Labcorp is a miserable place totally understaffed and now their system doesn't even even work if I had an alternative, I would do an alternative don't ever go to Labcorp read more

Not sure why the reviews are as bad as they are. I was here on a Tuesday morning and it was a full house. I got there at around 10:45 and i heard the receptionist say they're closing at 11:30. I asked if that was normal and she said that's lunch time. I was directed to the self check-in. That was very simple. The kiosk prompted me to wait anywhere i wanted, and i chose my own vehicle. I asked the receptionist if she could give me an ETA and she was said it was hard to say....maybe 30 minutes. She wasn't the friendliest, but she was far from rude or mean. I waited less than 30 minutes and received a text. Waited another 10 or so and was seen. The phlebotomist (tall Middle Eastern man) was initially in a rush because he was about to go on lunch. I saw him slow down, take a breath and proceed with the job at hand. He was very professional and it was the quickest and most painless blood draw I've ever had. I asked a few questions and he answered them thoroughly and politely. This kind of thing is always a pain and I'm sure we aren't in the best of moods while having to do these kind of tests, but i have no complaints on my experience. read more

I went in to get some bloodwork early in the morning. Checkin was fairly quick, and they called me in soon, even though the place was packed. A phlebotomist by the name of Teresa helped me. She was so kind, and usually I am very queazy when it comes to getting blood drawn, especially while fasting. She was done before I knew it, she found a vein where most phlebotomist often have trouble poking me, and it was painless and easy. She made me feel completely comfortable beforehand as well and asked about my pregnancy. Definitely 10/10 experience. read more

There is a need for improvement in all personnel; perhaps they need to attend training or classes on ethics, communication, and professionalism. St Joseph Heritage just switched from Quest to LabCorp. I wish they hadn't. I showed up as a walk-in and there were only 2 people showing on the screen with appointments, everyone else waiting was a walk-in. When I arrived, I went up to the counter and was rudely directed to the kiosk. I just wanted to clarify that I needed to check-in at the kiosk even though I didn't have an appointment. I tried to get one; however, the soonest available appointment was 10 days out. So, despite being told I had a 45-minute wait time, I arrived at 1:55 pm but wasn't served until 3:15 pm. The whole process seemed disorganized, with some walk-ins being served before others who had been waiting longer. They were even calling patients whose names were not on the screen. The staff seemed rude and incompetent, and the whole operation felt poorly managed. When I was finally called in with two other patients, I was seated, but only one technician was drawing blood. When he finally approached me, I smiled but was not given the courtesy of an acknowledgment. When the needle was inserted, it stung and became increasingly painful during the drawing process. I'm not sure if it was the position of the needle, but it took longer than usual to fill the vial, even though I was hydrated, and it left a strange mark at the site of insertion. The mark looks more like a small cut or scratch rather than the usual tiny prick. I don't believe the technician was very skilled, and he certainly didn't seem interested in being there. I recommend avoiding this place if possible, and I personally won't be returning. I sincerely hope not all LabCorp locations are like this. If they are, St. Joseph Heritage made a huge mistake in switching providers from Quest. read more

I went for a walk in blood draw and was informed that they don't do walk ins, despite it being posted at the entrance. Staff was very rude. They sent me to another site they claimed did walk in draws only to find it closed (3:30 PM). That site's facility looked "well used" and not what I expected from a medical professional facility. My feeling was that I was only a source of money and not a patient in need of medical care. I do not intend to use LabCorp for any of my future medical lab needs. read more
