I believe a lot of people don't really know how to check in and don't read instructions that's why there's bad reviews... I did have an appointment which makes it easier about 10 min total being there, in and out. The person who did my bloodwork was great, he was very friendly and he knew what he was doing, didn't feel anything and he was so quick! I noticed a person being all confused thinking he had an appt but he did not, the nurse was trying to help him but it seemed that this person did not speak English... so I recommend you make an appointment online... simple :):)

Got blood samples drawn today by Christy. Its been years since my last blood draw and I was just…read morefeeling reluctant but it was all inside my head. Christy is a wonderful person and it shows! She asked me how I was and I said a little nervous. To my surprise, she said "I'm sorry." I don't remember ever feeling so cared for by a phlebotomist or any healthcare professional. I felt saying that was above and beyond her call of duty. She talked to me about my work and I loved the countdown 3-2-1 before inserting the needle. It somehow made the pain less, which was hardly any pain at all thabks to Christy. She looked at me when speaking which shows compassion. She checked that all tests were covered by my insurance and let me confirm the name on the blood vials and urine cup was correct. I arrived at 9:15am for my 9:20am appt. I checked in on the kiosk and on my phone. I wasn't called in until 9:41am. Once I was in, Amanda was very efficient. She drew my blood and it was so painless that I didn't even know she had done it! I was out by 9:50am. Kudos to Amanda!

Instead, I was told I had to check in as a regular patient and wait for an opening before they could accept it. How does it make sense that dropping off a sample takes the same process as a full appointment? It would take an employee less than a minute to take it. This is a huge waste of patients' time. There should be a separate, quick process for sample drop-offs. Until Quest changes this policy, don't expect a simple drop-off to be quick.
