Dr. Moon is my guardian angel. A few years ago, when I cut my thumb, I went to Hoag Urgent Care at…read morethe Woodbury location, and Dr. Moon took exceptional care of me. She even went the extra mile by contacting a hand surgeon herself and arranging for me to be seen the very same day. Today, after spraining my foot, I was fortunate to have Dr. Moon care for me again. Even though it was close to closing time, she never rushed through my visit. She took the time to carefully examine my injury, answer all of my questions, and make sure I understood my treatment plan. Her compassion, patience, and genuine concern for her patients are truly remarkable. Dr. Moon is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but she also has a wonderful bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. She treats every patient with kindness, respect, and empathy, making you feel like you truly matter. I am also grateful for the entire staff at Hoag Urgent Care. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and welcoming, creating a positive experience from the moment you walk in. Thank you, Dr. Moon, for your outstanding care and dedication. You are truly a blessing, and Hoag Urgent Care is incredibly fortunate to have you.

I've come here many times. As a walk-in. I've never made an appointment but I know that people…read morereserve a spot from home and then head over. I've come here for COVID testing, flu testing, and various others injuries and illnesses. I have always had a good experience. Parking is available and vast. It is handicapped accessible. Staff is friendly and welcoming. This last time I was there, there were a ton of people on the screen that made an appointment virtually. The wait said it would be over 2hrs. However, I wasn't feeling well so I decided to just wait, as I know that if people no-show they move on to the next patient waiting. The 2hr turned into a quick 35min wait and a no more than a 50min visit. They have lab, x-ray and Ultrasound available on site. So it's super helpful to not have to go elsewhere for imaging or lab. I totally recommend this spot. Even if the screen shows that you'll be waiting long, just hang in there as many people that make appointments virtually may no-show after all and you'll move up the line.

Horrible experience…read more Provider Paul Sheikewitz, MD was in a rush. I had called ahead and confirmed that they did HPV testing and mouth/throat swabs. After a visual examination of my mouth, he stated that my mouth was fine and pushed me to take medication and an injection without doing the mouth swab test I repeatedly requested. He stated he was "not sure" my insurance would cover the mouth swab. I explained that I didn't want take anything before knowing what exactly and if I had anything . I had received mouth/throat swab testing previously without any insurance issues, and I even agreed to pay out of pocket if necessary. Despite this, I continued to get the runaround and was ultimately told the mouth/throat swab was not available. I also explained that I had taken the medication before and experienced repeated vomiting, so I was hesitant to take it without knowing I actually needed it. My main concern was getting tested for anything I may have, and I felt my concerns and requests were not heard. When leaving, the front desk employee also yelled across the room, "What were you here for?" I felt this was unprofessional, inappropriate and lacked privacy. I left extremely disappointed and uncomfortable. Due to this experience, I will be reporting my concerns to the California Medical Board. I would not recommend this place.

He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang. I was clearly seeking urgent medical attention, not a routine appointment. When I explained that I could not simply wait for another employee to come in, I was offered the option to pay cash for the visit, despite having active Medi-Cal coverage. I found this extremely disappointing. Patients seeking urgent care should not be placed in a situation where they are asked to delay treatment or pay out of pocket while insurance verification is postponed. I will also be submitting a complaint regarding this experience to Medi-Cal for review.
