The poke itself was right on the money, nearly painless, and without complication. He took the kit with him to do the postal dropoff himself - it was included with his services. One less thing for me to have to do, which was appreciated. We shook hands, said goodbye, and that was that. He did not solicit me for a Yelp review. A lot of service providers will offer deals to customers in hopes of scamming their way into a good review - it's a red flag whenever I see it and it makes me mad for having wasted time reading reviews that were essentially bought. But Andre didn't do that at all, which is why I immediately got on my computer to write him a review anyway. He earned his reviews by being good at what he does. I'd use him again anytime.

Another major issue was communication. The receptionist did not speak English, and no one in the clinic seemed able to communicate with us in English. This made it very difficult to ask questions or understand what was happening. After the labs were finally done, I asked for a simple doctor's note for my daughter's school since she missed the morning due to fasting and the appointment. The receptionist said she did not know what that was and could not provide one. Overall, the long wait, lack of communication, and inability to provide basic documentation made this a very stressful experience for both me and my daughter. I wish I can give it 0 stars . After my wait I get called up and told "we've done too many tests today so you'll have to come back on Monday". Keep in mind this was at around 2pm I was turned away but they state that they accept walking until 3pm. Absolutely ridiculous and who would have know that the lab can't run many lab tests or hit a "quota" for the day. As I was waiting, in case someone doesn't show up, I saw another gentleman be turned away for the 2nd day in a row due to the same "quota" being met. Highly do not recommend it's an absolute mess and waste of time.

I'm upset that the worker wasted my time telling me to drive 30min to a different location and assured me that they'd accept me when I specifically asked if that location can max out also. The LB location told me that the Tustin worker had no right to assure me of this and they couldn't help me. Lesson learned: never show up without an appointment because walk ins are impossible. And book your appointment early because they're booked out 2+ weeks in advance.

I was fasting for my lab tests, so feeling pretty faint, and when they called me to say they were ready, I decided to stand in the waiting room. The lady at the desk didn't tell me how long to expect to wait, and after a while, I decided to sit down to conserve some energy. I'm not sure how long I was waiting, but I was a bit stressed when they came and got me. The nurses I spoke with were very nice, so that helped. And they had me sit to made sure I wasn't going to faint on my way out. Just a tip for anyone going here, when they say they'll be right out, just ask what the timeline looks like.
