I had a drug screen appointment at this office for school. I made the appointment online and check in was easy on their kiosk. It was very busy and a small office of less than 20 chairs on the 2nd floor of the building. Byron explained the procedure and walked me through the steps. He was very friendly and professional. Minus 1 star for the parking situation. You have to pay for parking and the minimum hour was 3 hours on the mobile app. I had to pay $3.55 for my 45 minute visit. read more

Absolutely no problem with check-in and the courtesy of the staff. Phlebotomist was really good and I hardly felt a thing. What makes this a shame is that with a 9:30 AM Monday morning appointment, the waiting room and hallway had at least 20 people in it. In terms of time spent, simply be aware of that distinct possibility at this location. Again, nobody did anything wrong. But a waiting room overflowing with people might mean it's worth considering to drive a little bit longer distance to get to a less crowded LabCorp location. read more

The people who work here are nice but the last two times I've been here, the door was locked at 10am with ripped paper on the door. Today is a Thursday and they say they will be closed tomorrow. The plaque says their lunch is at 11. It's 10:30. I fasted for over 12 hours for a test and now I have to wait an additional 2.5 hours to potentially come back and them be closed for the day. This royally screwed up my entire day and is making me feel so sick. Don't come to this location without an appointment. If you do, be sure to call ahead and find out what time they will really be at lunch so you don't miss them. read more

There are a bunch of morons working there, they don't speak clear English, they are speaking Spanish and Vietnamese and don't explain the tests full requirements and they lie when you confront them and they wasted my time not doing my test for 3 times and they never apologize for poor quality of work and professionalism. I had to fast 3 times and wasted 50 miles driving and 5 hours between them and the doctor and still did not complete my test. Add to all of the the very cheap not always working ipad like registration units which not only will barely take your info correctly but also asks you stupid questions you can not answer, don't forget that you will get sick from patients touching it every day. There was a post on their door saying "We are closed Tuesday, December 16. Sorry for the inconvenience" They could have sent an email out about it but they didn't! Parking is a little confusing. Most spots warn to make sure you pay. Then there are some 2 hour only spots and the sign says people with appointments in the LabCorp building have a 2 hour grace period. So do you have to pay or not? I asked one of the employees and they made it sound like you did not, but the way they said it was not reassuring so I paid the $2 to be safe. I had an appointment and it offered checking in through my phone so I could wait outside until they were ready or going to the office and using a tablet. I chose to stay outside and checked in about 15 minutes before my appointment. 5 minutes later, I was told to go to the office. The elevators are small so I waited a few minutes until I could use one alone. I found stairs after down the long hallway to the right. Once in the office, it took about 20 minutes for them to see me. I think because the person before me was taking awhile. Only two people were working and they both were busy. The office is definitely showing it's age. Not that it needs to be up to date I guess. The technician was friendly to me during the appointment. Overall, I don't have any complaints. The main thing is that if I wasn't running other errands in the area, I might have chosen a location without paid parking (they should offer validation). So I'll take off a star for that and the dated office. read more

I did not have an appointment and did a walk-in. Facility is clean, modern and nice. There are 2 screens to do self check-in which I did. After that i was prepared to wait 1hr or more because all the bad reviews and I had no appointment. Less than 5min i was called to window to verify my insurance and MD order. Then in about 10 minutes I was called in for the blood draw. The phlebotomist Alma S. was wonderful, professional, gentle and kind. She verified name, birthday and doctor orders with me. Her skills were top....I barely felt the stick and she got it on the first try too. That blood draw needle is actually a micro-blade designed to pierce your body thick, protective skin layers to access your fragile blood vessels. If someone is "digging" or moving it around after inserting, they are basically doing untold damages as this very sharp micro knife is slicing across your tissues as they move it around! That's why patients end up with big black bruises after being treated by such "inexperienced and unprofessional " phlebotomists. They should go back to school for more training. Thank God Alma was a pro at her job and i did not experience that today. Bravo ALMA I also requested reports to be sent to a second provider and she gladly did it after asking for the fax number. I can't believe I got everything done in half an hour. Great job LabCorp Garden Grove thank you all the staff. Thank you Alma this is better than Quest walkin read more

Misery, attitude, misery, attitude! The negativity is so thick here you need a chain saw to cut it. This is the worst lab ever! I will never come back to this location. It's a convenient location but I'd rather get attacked by angry zombies than come back here. I'm sure the zombies will smile as they are attacking. There is a self check in, then they call you for your paperwork and to give you the urine specimen container. You will have to guess where the restroom is bc they don't tell you and they are so unfriendly and miserable, you're afraid to ask. Then if there's blood needed they call you again for that. My personal experience was quick and I'm glad for that as I wouldn't want any of that negativity to rub off on me. Must be a horrible place to work. Sad Skip this one of you can. read more

Excellent office. I needed some blood work done last week and I came to this office because the down stair office was closed. I was surprised by how fast they took care of me. Staffs don't acknowledge customers. 3 of the staffs spend their times in processing room, chilling, on the phone, and talking to each other instead of checking the waiting area to see how long patients were waiting. Dont ever go this labcorp. The waiting system is horrible, the front staffs are horrible. My mom just went to get her test on 02/24, and she experienced a terrific experience because of the front registers. We wait for our turn, but when it is was our turn. The register told me that we have a past due balance from 2018 (5 years ago), and she told me that I have to pay them in order to get her tested today. I have to drive back to my house and get my card to pay the past due balance ( the balance we don't even recognize). My frustration is that we don't understand why others people came before us, they were all done and went home. And now we still have wait. Even I have a credit card with me, she does not bother to help me right away. Is it our fault? Of course not. Also, When I ask them what is past due balance about because my mom did not remember it. The front register told me that we can hold on to the past due balance. Why don't you told me in the beginning? Why do you make me drive home just to get my card? And now it is ok to not pay right now? We can pay after we know why we have a past due balance. We wait and we wait in hopeless ... until it was our turn. They are literally ignoring us. Maybe they are too busy helping other people who got in line after us. However, the staff who did a blood test for my mom she is awesome and super friendly. She deserves 5 stars. read more

Unfortunately this location of LabCorp loses a star because you have to pay for parking. $2 for the first hour and I knew I'd only be here for less than ten minutes. Not entirely LabCorp's fault, but I would rather go to another, further location with free parking. The customer service was somewhat lacking. I did not bring a physical copy of my health insurance card because my carrier does not mail me one and made it seem like I could show it on my phone, which I had been doing thus far with no issues. The staff member at the front told me I needed to print it and offered no solutions. I couldn't email it? Fax it using an app? Finally she recommended that I call my doctor to fax it over, only after I stood there dumbfounded. My doctor's office was not open yet, but luckily I was able to call my boyfriend to log in to my account and fax it for me. Simultaneously I also found an app that would have let me fax it from my phone as well. However, needless to say, she wasn't too helpful. I later noticed a photocopier behind her that I'm pretty sure they could have made a photocopy from my phone, but maybe that's not possible and I just don't know. Anyway my boyfriend faxed it and when I came back a few minutes later, someone else helped me at the front and drew my blood who I felt was much more friendly and helpful. Not sure what went wrong with all the other reviews But this site is amazing. The customer service was great. The girl with red hair is super friendly. I think her name is Sara. She calls all the customers by name and converses with them in a super professional and friendly way. I got there when the lobby was full of patients and still only waited 10 minutes to have my blood drawn. Every staff member was friendly and seemed to work great as a team.I am a usually a hard stick and Sara got me on the first try. I will recommend this site to everyone i know! read more

I always have a great experience coming here. I come in as a walk-in and seen immediately because I have been lucky and come in between appointments. I bring in my 91 year old father and he too says he never feels any discomfort or bruising after the blood draw. read more

I came to lab Corp to bring my mother for blood work. I had been waiting outside and saw Lab Corps office coming back from lunch...I asked politely if they worked at lab Corp I was not assuming they were back from lunch...I just asked because I was curious to know in order to stick around and wait since I had already paid for parking and an employee at Lab Corp with SUPER red bright hair responded really rude and told me "Yea, But we are not opened" as she pushed her mouth together and side looked at me and continue to look up. Neither her or the staff about four more...stopped to politely say they were at lunch...or smiled...they just walked with a lot of attitude. This staff looks like they don't want to be here at lab Corp and more like it's just a job. A great customer service person at any place would had stopped, smiled and said politely "Yes, we will be back at 12:30" Although I was more concerned about parking. My point is that they were all rude when they were walking by. It didn't have much to do with anything else. read more

My 6 day old newborn and I were seen at Lab Corp in Garden Grove after being rejected by Quest lab that is located in the same Medical building as Lab Corp. My husband and I chose Quest in GG due to having the earliest available appt. and this was very crucial due to my sons condition, we needed ASAP. What started off bad at Quest due to their error and cluelessness led to a nightmare at Lab Corp. We had a 7:30 appt and Lab Corp was supposed to honor our appt but unfortunately it didn't play out that way. The place was packed , not a seat was available and I had hoped to spare my newborn being in such a predicament without eating for such a long time. The women at the front desk named "Cathy" seemed very irritated by our unplanned drop in. When my newborn was crying due to hunger and I asked her how much more longer she was not at all sympathetic and only responded with an eye roll and telling me she still needed to put in the order. I was beside myself at this point because we as responsible and caring parents for our lil one were in the hands of this lady who just simply had no heart for human regard. When finally my son was seen at 9:00am I quickly found the nearest room to breast feed my sick and starving son. I thought it would be fine, but Cathy entered the room coldly stating she needed the room. She could have offered me another room or even a chair to sit on outside because there were no seats available but she didn't . Instead a very nice women in the waiting room gave me her seat for me to comfortably feed my son while she sat on the floor. I would have never imagined such a scenario like the one we went through to have happened because we did have everything in order and correctly set up on our part mainly to avoid chaos and stress for my son and I. I think we would have been able to have put up with the unjust wait if atleast the service was fair and showing respect to us and other people. The people there are mostly old or non- English speaking and it's terrible how cold and apathetic they are treated. So sad that there are people in this field that can make a positive change for others during a rough time but instead choose to make it harder on people who clearly need a break in their life. I do have to say the gentlemen drawing both my sons and my blood was courteous and very efficient at his skill. He was the only one who put a smile on my face. His name was Calvin and I thank him. Terrible experience but thanks to God we got through it. read more
