I'm very disappointed with my experience with the staff today. I called because I wanted to make an appointment for my daughter and briefly explained her symptoms and concerns. I was only trying to give the staff member enough information to understand why I was calling. Instead, she told me that I was talking too much and wasting her time, and that next time I shouldn't talk so much. I was honestly shocked and very upset by the way she spoke to me. In my past experiences with doctor's offices, staff usually ask what the problem is and why I need an appointment, so I thought I was doing the right thing. This is my daughter's (Delilah) pediatrician. So far I'm impressed with the staffing starting with the front desk. They're very helpful, informative, and very patient with new parents like myself. Second, the medical assistance are very gentle when handling my child. Finally, and most importantly, the doctor seems to be very knowledgeable and thorough with her head to toe assessment. This clinic is the worst medical clinic I've been to. Every appointment we had they make us wait hours before the actual exam. Why do we have an appointment if they just going to make us wait? I I take my family here because it easier for my wife to speak to the Vietnamese doctors. I recommend that if you understand English just go elsewhere. They don't respect our time. My family and I moved to orange county so I needed to search for a new medical provider for my daughter. I went on Blue Shield website for a list of nearby providers and chose this office. I called to make an appointment and after they found out I was a new patient the front office lady stated they do not work work Blue Shield . I said are you sure? I transferred PCP from the website. So I call Blue Shield and they verified that this office should indeed accept new patients. The agent calls the office and tells them that they are still in the live system and should be accepting any patient with Blue Shield as the group ID is active and shows no expiration date. The front office girl simply said "well my manager said we don't accept this insurance anymore". Blue Shield agent told me that very few businesses will deny patients even though they are actively listed as medical providers due to unprofessional conduct or shortness of staff. So for you people who think the good reviews a reason to visit this office, be warned they you may be turned away as a new patient and lied to. read more

We love Dr. Thao Vo she is so patient and kind with her patients and the parents. We have been lucky to have her for all of our three babies and she is consistent and very informative with all of her families. She is there when you need her and if she's not she will get back to you. The clinic used to be on Warner in fountain valley, which I preferred. I'm not a big fan of the location here in Westminster but I think they did it for budget reasons and space. Thank you Thao Vo and nurses in this clinic for always being so kind and loving with my babies. The type of care you provide everyday for your patients does not go unnoticed. read more

I started taking my newborn to Dr. Thao Vo. The staff are super friendly and professional. Dr. Thao is amazing. She took her time with my baby and explained everything without rushing. Today, I brought my baby in without an appointment. My baby was having a fever. Dr. Thao took my baby in right away. Again, the assistants were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Vo is the best doctor I've ever had! Her compassion and kindness shines through in every interaction she has with patients. I've been seeing her for the past 10 years and still see her for skincare even though I'm 22 now! In fact, I just saw her for IV hydration the other day after vomiting too much. She helped me clear my acne completely when I was a teenager. The Retin A prescription she gave was a godsend for my skin and cleared my acne completely!! I met Dr. Vo after the delivery of my daughter and decided to keep her as a pediatrician for both of my children , whenever we go into her office she always spend a decent amount of time time checking up on my children to ensure that nothing is missed. if we had questions off-hours, she would be available to help us via fb messenger. So many times I have messaged her and she would respond to me. Her staff are great as well, they are very nice to us and everyone who goes there. Unfortunately, my husband changed insurance so we could not continue going to her but hopefully we can come back once we sort out the insurance. Due to a change in insurance, my daughter needed a new doctor. Dr. Vo was on our list of approved doctors and I am so glad. We came in for my daughters 4 year check up and it was a pleasant experience. The office was clean and we were taken back very quickly. My daughter had to have 4 vaccines and needed to have her hemoglobin checked which resulted in 3 shots and a finger prick. My daughter did not like that, but the nurses were so sweet and did their best to make her feel comfortable. Dr. Vo was very sweet and I felt like she really listened to me, but also to my daughter. She answered all questions we had and spent time with us to make sure everything was good. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a good pediatrician. read more

This review is long overdue . I met Dr. Vo 24 hours after delivery my son and I read her reviews & decided to keep her as my sons pediatrician. I loved the first visit because she was very informative & welcoming to my husband & I . The 2nd visit went well & my husband was allowed in as well . The third not so much . My husband was not allowed in because of COVID when previously he was allowed in . We were a bit confused because covid had not just begun but we were okay with it . As my husband sat in the car waiting for my child & I , he saw 2 families walk out of the office .... So please tell me why others were allowed in with their spouse & I wasn't ??? I felt extremely discriminated against bc of my nationality & my appearance ( I look younger than I am & short) . I quickly changed pediatricians because I want nothing to do with an office that picks and chooses families based on their nationality . We were referred by our OBGYN to Dr. Mai as our family physician and Dr. Vo as the pediatrician for our daughter. We've been to both of the office and we have had the most pleasant experiences. My 5 month daughter has been going to Dr Vo since she was a month old. But I wanted to write this review because last night my daughter caught a stomach bug and was throwing up. This morning I called and wanted to take her in without an appointment. They let us know that today is extra busy but for us to come in anyways. My husband has visited Mr. Chinh Mai since January 2020. The doctor has taken the time to talk to him and referred him to the specialists as needed. My mom has been cared by Dr Mai Chinh during in and outside hospital when my mother has Bypass Heart Sx three months ago. Dr Mai was always professional and treated my Mother very well . He came by her hospital bed almost every day to check her . Once my mother got out of hospital and she continues to be seen by him for post off along with her other visits by her Thoracic Surgeon. Both doctors have worked closely to treat my mother until now . My mother had a successful Sx and post op care . Thanks to Dr Mai Chinh was a part of it . He is very passionate about his patient and a very kind doctor . He was very patient with her ( she is an 85 yrs old lady) and willing to listened to all of her concerns . Have seen this doctors office 3x for my newborn child, it's been pretty frustrating having to deal with this medical office especially with the staff, twice that I've made appointments they call me and make me reschedule the appointments because doctor isn't available, when I started coming here I submitted a paper copy and the actual insurance card for my child and the 3x I've came they give me issues where they don't have the insurance on file and can't find it so they hold us back after the visit until they figure it out it's just annoying how I gave them a copy of it to place In his folder file and still they don't have it figured out. They shouldn't give the patient the option to make an appointment if there going to keep calling the patient to reschedule the appointments especially when they call you the day before to change the appointment. I will definitely be looking for another medical group to take my child too. To provide better hospitality to the patients they need to train there staff much more. read more

My 72 years old sister had a fluctuating blood pressure. When her blood pressure was above 210, we called the ambulance and she was measure 248 when she got to Fountain Valley hospital. The hospital got her blood pressure reduced through medication and they discharged her. It was not their job to find out about the cause. We made appointment with Dr. Chinh Mai for my sister as new patient, because we heard he was very good with genuine care for patients. We didn't know what to bring, thinking that we would need to go back one more time. He greeted us with a great smile and went right into diagnosing my sister. We were surprised on how he was able to pull all kinds of records for my sister from multiple sources without us lifting a finger, her diagnostics, blood tests, blood pressure taken elsewhere, prescribed medicines she has been taking. I learned that he invested heavily in technology to be able to get that kind of information. His initial diagnostics seemed to hit the note. My sister have been taking various kinds of medicines, eastern and western and that aggravated her situations. He readjusted my sister's blood pressure medicine, and told her if it doesn't work, she could come back. He didn't have to write us a prescription on paper but he simply asked us what pharmacy we go to get the medicine to send the prescription to. All we had to do was to come and pick up the medicine and paid for them. My sister was so impressed that she didn't blame us for switching doctors on her and keep saying. He's so good. I later learned that he has been a doctor twice. He was good one in Vietnam, and then when he went to the US, he had to retake it all over again, and worked in some of the best hospitals in the US for many years, and still maintained his youthfulness. No wonder why he was able to see patients needs the way they see it and gave the right diagnostics. I also understand his wife was as good. Thank you God for sending Doctor Chinh Mai to us, to relieve our concerns about my sister's health. read more
