I've been coming to this medical office for several months, and I can honestly say it's been an absolute nightmare. Let's start with the appointments: they never respect the scheduled time. What's the point of making an appointment if you're going to wait 1 to 2 hours every single time? It's beyond disrespectful and a complete waste of time. Now, the so-called "medical visit"... if you can even call it that. Dr. DO is hands down the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life. Her consultations are rushed, careless, and frankly useless. She comes across more like a clueless beginner than a licensed professional. There is no listening, no proper exam, no real medical care. This practice is judged harshly; in my learned opinion. I'm a retired healthcare worker and understand both points of view (provider and patient.) This practice has employees with English as a second language. I begin with this to suggest differences in culture may make some patients uncomfortable and cause bad reviews. That said, the actual care/successful outcomes are what matters!!! This practice gratefully delivers! It's clean, the staff manages to move a busy office in a timely manner - appointments on time (!) - easy to book appointments (!) - bloodwork done onsite/so convenient (!) - easy free parking almost off freeway, open on Sunday (!), and then the care ... In my experience, both in crisis (gallbladder) and routine (detecting issues during physical) I was/am being given great attention to my medical care needs/follow-ups/additional tests, etc. In summary, I believe they are exceptionally dedicated in keeping their patients well and are more accessible than most providers. Additionally, this practice is generous in the insurances they carry and the doctor is a fellow University of California graduate. read more

I like this Doctors Office........Parking is easy, free and very close to the office, they always get me in early if not on time , they take my insurance, when you call during business hours there is no wait to talk to a person. This office hires a person who is not a MD. She is a master of something. And she lies a lot. She would say to do this do that for me but didn't do those at all. Only after we received no updates that we knew she lied. A week later I came to the office and get treated better by another physician (this one is shorter, the other one whose name is Lili or something is taller and slimmer). I see a lot of bad reviews for this office. I only came here 3x and changed PCP right after seeing the Dr. herself. I think you only get the Dr if the NP couldn't treat you, at least that's how it was for me. The NP always pick to see me during my 3 visits; she figured I'm an easy peasy case since I'm young. However, the NP passed me to the Dr on my 3rd visit, after learning I have a medical problem she didn't know where to start or be liable for. I don't know how the office currently operates, but you don't get to pick who you see at the office. If you're young like me, they probably give you NP as your provider, thinking you either want specialist referrals or common medications. Anyways, if you want a Dr who truly spend time diagnose and treat you, look elsewhere. The Dr was nice when she spoke with me during our last encounter, but I didn't think she has the capability/ability or should be my PCP so I bailed. Even though they were swamped the front desk ladies kept calm and professional at all times. I work in the customer service industry and I know how crazy it can get. I appreciate their patience and hard work even though patients can be aggressive and impatient. I haven't visited in a long time but I'm glad I made it back to this office. read more

I been a patient of Doctor Do for a couple of years now. I been having a cough for 3 weeks. Just called to make an appointment to get checked up. I was told I can't come into the office cuz I am coughing. The doctor will call me to do a telecheck. And that I need to Zelle my copay first then she will call once they receive my payment. 1. I don't see how the can examine me over the phone to get me proper medication. 2. Are they really worried about a copay? Shouldn't they be more worried about their patients well being? Lucky for me I have PPO so I can go to urgent care. But I can't imagine them doing this to other patients. Just worried about making money instead of caring for their patients.... read more

She doesn't document the patients profile just tells the patient what they want to hear. Supposedly tells the staff to send for a referral to wait a week with no response you call the office and they said they didn't know about any referrals and it's not in your chart. I absolutely love this doctor's office. I have a ton of different medical needs and I never have a hard time making a last minute appointment. They are open on Sunday The staff is helpful and pleasant. I really like that almost always when I come in I see the doctor personally and she takes care of my needs. I wanted to wait until I could change doctors to review this place. First of all, all the negative reviews here are CORRECT! Do not trust this doctor at all costs. When I finally had insurance again, I decided to make an appointment here to get an annual check up since it's been a while. First off, they over schedule all patients so even if I had made an appointment when they first opened at 9, there were about 10 other people waiting also. It took me over an hour to be seen and when I finally was seen, it was by the doctors assistant. She has asked if I wanted to do a Pap smear along with my annual and I said yes. I get sent on my way after all my testing. Fast forward-- A few weeks later, I get a call from the office and they tell me that the doctor needs me to come in to review my results. Nervous, I ask if they could tell me over the phone and they say no. I end up making an appointment to see the doctor. On top of having to pay yet another $30 co payment, Again, am waiting forever after my scheduled appointment time. Finally, Dr. Do comes in to my room and gives me a paper and says "not to worry you so much, but you have cervical cancer. We will refer you to a specialist once we get authorization. We'll call you in a week, if we don't call you, call us." With no empathy and walks away. Do you know how many things are running thru someone's head when someone says they have cancer?! I paid $30 co pay to sit down for 5 minutes for the doctor to tell me that. A week goes by, I get a letter in the mail for authorization to see a specialist. I make an appointment right away and the first time I go there, the specialist informs me before he does another Pap smear that he does not think I have cervical cancer and that my doctor should never have told me that. Anyways, I go thru many many many appointments between August 2019 until now and spent a lot of money and time off of work just to find out it's not actually cervical cancer. Please read the reviews and stay away. I'm giving 2 stars only because all the staff are very nice but this doctor is anything but honest. read more

This place is so terrible that you don't need my review to know it, as you can so many1 star reviews. I had this skin problem and I ended up finding out what it was (after my doctor appointment) without any of those useless doctors. A doctor and Jaclynn J. Do were there when I had my appointment and they said I have bed bugs, the way my skin on my arm was messed up would never look like that if it were bed bugs. Jaclynn tried convincing even when I disagreed so I gave up on them and just walked out. Waste of money I had to pay for a pointless appointment. I ended up putting seamoss on my arm and it got better which I learned from my cousin who isn't a doctor. read more

My mother called them about a sore, irritated throat, and cough so they told her to come in after taking a covid test when she had already taken one 3 times and had proof. In the end she was still having the same symptoms and she was confirmed to have an appointment and come in. When we got there, she was asked to wear a mask which she complied but due to this it made her breathing worse causing her to cough more. She waited awhile only to be told she was not to be seen because of the cough, the symptom she had mentioned, and confirmed that it was not due to covid. We were told to wait and come in for nothing, our time and gas was wasted. read more

Ever wonder why this office has an overall cumulative average of 1/4 stars? Because history repeats itself, its a combination of bad experiences. I feel bad writing this bad review for Do and her staff but I've had four bad experiences coming here, twice with my self and once with each one of my parents. I need to take the time to write out this review to help save a life because I wouldn't want any of my loved ones or yours coming here for fear that it'll cost them their life and let's be honest preventative care is really important which I did not experience here after several attempts. Fool me once, shame on her but fool me four times shame on me for even giving her the benefit of the doubt numerous times after she has failed me! I had a deep superficial road rash abrasion on my left knee from a road accident...when I went into her office she didn't examine it she just eyeballed it!!she didn't refer me to a specialist that could stitch it up or give me any advice or even a bandaid. She left it exposed! She just charged me a $25 copay that I never got back! Now six years later, I'm stuck looking at this damaged piece of skin because of poor medical direction and lack of clinical care that I received from her. Second time around I decide to go in out of conveyance and because I'm pretty healthy and didn't feel a sense of urgency to research another doctor and go thru the trouble of insurance verification again and also since it was close by with no wait (now I know why!!) for a doctor's note to turn in to my employer post cold to clear me to return to work and I'll give her credit, she did print out a generic letter and sign it... But then she starts talking about how she wears skirts to avoid yeast infections to let it breathe... The heck, I came in for a doctor's note and am yeast infection free and have not ever been diagnosed with stds. Nor did I have any abnormal symptoms waist down. Thanks for the irrelevant advice. My parents just moved to Orange county from out of state and were randomly referred here due to the close proximity to their home, mom has a basic non complex / non critical condition but complained that she could not tolerate her generic prescription. Jackie Do did not suggest a follow up appointment, decrease the dosage, ask important questions or suggest a change... She continued to keep my mom on that same med even though her insurance covers medications triple the cost. My mom was smart enough to go elsewhere asap! Dad was referred here by another friend because his primary care physician retired. He came in to get a refill on a statin but Jackie Do prescribed him a way cheaper statin even though he's been on that same statin for 5 years, no issues with insurance, no complaints. Studies show his old statin is much better for someone with as many chronic conditions as he has. They used alcohol from a bottle with a cotton ball to draw blood.... Not a prepackaged alcohol swab. How unsanitary. Yuck! My dad was very displeased and felt like he was at a hospital in the undeveloped country of Vietnam in 1960. Trying to give an unbiased, factual review so you can be the judge of her services but please I ask you, if you are a family member of a loved one that is a patient here please be proactive to get the good resources for them and screen your parent or loved one for any disease /condition they may have. This clinician does not care. Does not know better mismanaged office... A lot of chaos! I waited 6 years to write this review, nothing has changed. If you are new to the area or cannot read English please do yourself a favor and do not come here. I would pick a first year med student or hell even a doctor from Tijuana to treat me over her. I have a service dog. Doctor had to ask for some verification for it, asked why I need it, etc. Had a bit of a hold up about it. Continued to get hold ups from her staff after explaining why on subsequent visits. (This is night and day against my gyno Dr. Quach who just asked once. My dog became somewhat an office celebrity after that-especially when I was pregnant.) She referred me to a horrible gastro and hasn't kept up with my situation at all. I've been sitting around with this chronic condition untreated since seeing her in 2017. She also referred me to a bad psychiatrist whose bedside manners are pretty atrocious. Also got in a car accident and came to see her the next day. Was sent home although I was suffering from a concussion. Gave me time getting a neurologist referral. I'm changing out my primary care because she's been terrible with treating my needs. read more

If I could give this Medical Office 0 stars, I would. I used to come to Jaclynn Do because my insurance was covered under her in the past. When explaining to her what's wrong physically AND mentally, she will make you seem like a fool and laugh at you. She literally does not care for her patients. My main reasoning for writing this review is for my experience this month with the rest of the staff. With restrictions of COVID-19 being in effect, I decided to call on 02/08/21--In concerns for MY vaccination records for school. I have the understanding that since I haven't been a patient since 2017, their end would have to look up those old documents on file. Whichever receptionist I spoke to said that she would have her manager get it for me. She said that the manager is only available on Friday's, but not that Friday because it was Tét 02/12/21. I explained to her that my program for school begins on 03/13/21, and that I would need those documents ASAP. The receptionist informed me that she would let her manager know and they'd be ready the following Friday, 02/19/21. I told her I had work and said that I would be unable to come that day; however, she said not to worry because they would be ready by then. Fast-forward to 02/18/21, I call the office--no answer. I call again 02/19/21, again, still no answer. I left a voicemail on both 02/19 and 02/20, no call back and today's 02/22/21. Today, I called them myself and sure enough, someone replied. This receptionist laughed at me when I tried to explain to her my situation from my call from the other receptionist. She left me on hold for 10 minutes to figure out who I spoke to and accused me of making it up. Literally, why would anyone make that up? If they recorded these phone calls, I sure enough can damn-well say this entire office is a joke. It's like they DIDN'T WANT me to get MY MEDICAL records. To top it off, she put me on hold again and was saying horrible things in Vietnamese, as if I didn't hear it!!! Anyway, if you could choose a different family practice, please do. My previous family doctor didn't have issues giving me my documents, and nor did my current one. Both were able to give me my records within the same day. read more

Dr. Do is still our primary physician. I trust what she tells me, she has never steered me wrong. Her staff are always helpful and try really hard to get any insurance issues resolved quickly. Especially Myra, she is very helpful and knowledgeable. I love that they have a lab to do the blood work right there at the office. It really simplifies things for my son and myself. The appointment system at this clinic doesn't work. I had an appointment at 2pm , checked in 10 mins prior and had to wait an hour. The receptionist at front desk kept taking other patients in before me, after 30 minutes has gone by. I asked her how much longer do I need to wait? To which she replied "I need to be patient". I feel I have been very patient. I cancelled all my plans this morning and drove 2 hours, just to be neglected and treated poorly. The lady apologized but it was generic and not sincere at all. I hate giving bad reviews, but this office is SERIOUSLY bad. I'll try to simplify the nightmare I've gone through over the last couple months: 1. First, it's true that they do not respect privacy and actually review your medical history in the hallway with other patients around. 2. They sit on paperwork so that if you do finally get the treatment and results you need, it takes months. Long story short: I saw Dr Do oct 9 and she knew I was in pain and needed urgent help. But they took weeks to even send authorization to my insurance. And that was with me calling a few times. When I called to get the results of my tests, they said my tests were all normal, and if I wanted copies I'd have to pick them up at their office, which I did. When I got home I noticed my ultrasound was missing, so I called them. They told me they never received the ultrasound for Dr Do to read. So once again I had to make calls to make that happen, something a patient shouldn't have to do. Dr Do's office called today--finally, two months and ten days after I first went in--and told me my ultrasound is abnormal, but if I want to know why, I'd have to go in again. After all this time I may no longer have insurance, so I can't go in to find out why my results are abnormal. So all of that was for nothing. I could have something seriously wrong with me, and I don't get to know why because of this office's incompetence. read more

Horrible experience with the front desk. My appointment was at 1:30pm and it took them half an hour just to look at my file and tell me that my insurance is not eligible. Office staff are near incompetent. I came in person to follow up on why they didn't follow-up with requested paperwork from 2weeks ago. I've been here an hr, with an appointment, and I am still waiting. As I sit here, another patient comes in with the same problem, her requested info was not faxed as promised, the front desk people state it will be faxed immediately. 30min later that lady comes back because,once again the info was not faxed as promised. Probably one of the worst family practices I've ever come across. There are 4-5 people working the front desk. However, non of them can manage to acknowledge you and ask the proper questions of why are u here, new patient?, or anything. I signed in (being a new patient) it literally took one of the front desk staff 15 mins to hand me papers to fill out. My appt was at 2:15 I came in 20 mins early to fill out forms. Still the doctor did not see me until 3 pm and when she did, she saw me for 3 mins. I was asking for a referral for an ophthalmologist and she flat out said no twice, saying I did not need one. Save your time and sanity and find a better, more caring family doctor. read more

My wife had to follow up with them in Dec. She asked if there was result from the lab. The receptionist said they don't know. My why asked, why you don't know. They said they never received the result. The reason was they never followed up to get it for 3 months. They also asked my wife to find out phone # of the lab and get it by herself. What the hell? The absolute worst doctor ever. I have to ask myself... is this woman even a doctor? She is very rude and she always looks annoyed. She is not friendly and will give you the death stare when passing by you. The inside of my ear was hurting so she used a otoscope (tool you use to view the inside of your ears) and pressed it very hard against both of my ears as if she was pissed off at me. I asked her why my ear is hurting and she straight up looked at me with attitude and said I don't know. Wtf? Aren't you supposed to be a doctor? And later my mom came in to ask her if the medicine I'm using is okay and she responded you have to make an appointment with me and I'll answer your question. Wow....she's full of greed and only wants money. She also commented "wow you're 19 and still need mommy to come with you?" So unnecessary. 0 stars. This was 2 yrs ago and I decided to write it now. Unless you purposely want to give yourself tense muscles, find another office. I used to come here as a teenager when her office was located across the street. The doctor was always sweet and caring. I came here when I sprained my ankle in need of a doctor's note for work. The doctor was out and her PA saw me (5 PM). Had returned outlet based on convenience and had an okay experience. I was in the hiring process for another job and needed a physical. Again, because of convenience of being seen the same day I came here that Wednesday. Once again, the PA saw me because the doctor was not there (11 AM). I was told they couldn't sign off on my health form until I did a TB test. The PA said she would fill out the form and return it when I came in for my TB reading. Because of my work hours, I almost missed my TB reading. I was very thankful for the staff waiting for me on a Friday evening. The nurse that was ready to leave even came back in to read my TB test. I really appreciate that however, when I returned on Sunday for my forms and verifications, I was told they were NOT filled out YET and to return the next day. I came back Monday morning. I was told they had LOST my forms and worst of all, they made me feel like it was my fault for leaving them with them even though I was asked by the PA to do so. They asked me to get another form. The front office staff walked out to lunch saying just bring another form. They seemed unbothered and began yelling at one another in a language that I do not speak, even pointing fingers. It's not that I can't get another form, but it's the fact that this was needed for my hiring process. It was important. They delayed my start date. I came back Wednesday with another form in hand. After waiting until I was called I was asked by the PA if I could wait for longer. When I asked how much longer she walked to the front office and filled it out in less than 1 minute. She wrote 2 sentences and 2 dates then passed it over to get the office stamp. I was so conflicted. I didn't know if I should be mad or relieved to be done with them. I should also mention that I had lab work done here the same day I got my TB test. A male patient stood behind the Tech as she drew 2 tubes of blood before she asked to step out of the room. He was sitting in the same small room as me waiting for his turn to get blood drawn. He had stood up when the tech started drawing the blood and getting closer for a better look which is when she finally asked him to sit and wait outside in the hallway. Needless to say, this place very unprofessional and I hope you don't make the same mistake I did by coming to them for your health related needs. read more

WORST PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN EVER! Beware! Stay away from this terrible private practice. Final update: October 21st, 2011 Since switching to another primary care physician, I needed to come back a final time (thank GOD it will be the last) to get copies of all my blood work and tests. Unfortunately, due to the INCOMPETENCE and UNWILLINGNESS of the staff to forward my information to my new doctor, I had to come in person, only to be CHARGED $1.00 a page for copies of my blood-work/tests!!! I have never, in my life, been charged for photocopies from ANY physician. According to the staff, this is now "office policy." "Office policy" is obviously code for "I want more money." Her practice is repulsive, really. Considering most of Dr. Do's patients are low income immigrants from Vietnam (who only go to her because of language barriers, distance, and ignorance that there are other, better options available), the fact that she is charging $1.00 per page (for information patients would NOT be able to obtain otherwise, if not from her) is MORALLY REPREHENSIBLE! I think I am going to use her practice as a prime example to fellow classmates on "What NOT to do."
