If you make an appointment ahead of time online, there's no trouble getting seen quickly! My appointment was at 12:10 & by 12:12 I was called back to complete my testing. I don't recall the name of the employee doing my testing, but she was very kind & efficient. I was in & out! read more

ZERO STARS. It says clearly on its web page that accept walk-ins. Got there at 10:40. Was walk-in no 6.They 're 4 employees but only the appt. list was moving at a pace aprox of 1 person every 5 min per employee. At 11:20 one of them says the last person to be seen from the walk in list is at 12:40 and to think about it!!! In no time I am no 3 and the walk in list has grown to 11.They stop calling in for 15 min then only one keep working at 1 person every 10-15 min and only appt, and the other 8 people of the walk in list just wasted our time and had to leave without being seen, when obviously they could have done it. Very important to note that when I registered it said a wait time of 30 to 60 minutes. I'm talking to my insurance to switch to Labcorp. It is much better. You should do the same if you want to save time and angriness. read more

first time here for my husband and i. Clear signs of where the lab was within the hospital entrance. We booked a 1120a appointment on a Sat. we arrived early at 11a, no one there but a computer. we checked in on a computer and was called promptly called after we finished. The attendant verified my info, got my 4 files of blood, asked me to pee in a cup and i we were both done in 15mins. when we got out the waiting room was full. good thing we arrived early. Fasted labs ever! read more

Went to Quest Diagnostics for pre-op evaluation. Doctor was polite and very helpful with my check up.

I'm not the person who leaves reviews constantly, but EVA deserves it! I'm a young adult who's always had trouble getting bloodwork done and she made the process flawless! She listened to my needs and even made me laugh during a process that's usually hard for me. I haven't met a phlebotomist who's offered me the same experience before. THANK YOU SO MUCH! read more

The person who assisted me, whose name I believe was Star, was extremely unprofessional. Getting my blood drawn is already stressful for me, and she managed to make the experience significantly worse. From the beginning, her attitude was unpleasant. She seemed fixated on my home address and questioned whether I lived in an apartment building (I do not). This has never been an issue in the past, and her tone made me uncomfortable. The situation became even more frustrating when she noticed that I had brought in a printed order from Labcorp. One of the test codes was abbreviated as "LP." She said, "I don't know what LP is. You'll have to contact your doctor. Can you call them right now?" It was 7:30 in the morning, and my doctor's office wasn't open. When I explained that, she snapped back with something like, "So you don't want to contact your doctor?" Her comment and tone were unnecessarily rude. When I suggested that "LP" might stand for Lipid Panel, she replied, "It could be, or it could be something else," without making any effort to clarify or help. I've visited this location many times before and have never had an experience like this. She went out of her way to be unhelpful, and I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I will not be returning to this location and will instead go to the Labcorp across the street in the pavilion for future tests. read more

Eva was a amazing really good at drawing blood! Happy I came here. She also was good at communication and sending me a text message!

Thanks to LEONARD i had such a great experience here for first time in my whole life. He is very chilled. During blood draw, you cant feel anything. He talks to you and makes you busy to not feel anything. He is professional, very fast and knows how to make you relax and calm. He explains everything very well and there is no surprise and because of him the office experience was the best. Asl for Leonard and thank me letter! 10/5 is my office experience today so from now on every time in this office i'll ask for him. Thank you Leonardo you are the best. read more

Figured I'd arrive early so help them out so they're not as busy, but they don't care they had everyone waiting in the lobby laughing inside instead of seeing early arrivals or walk ins. read more

Arrived 40 min before they closed, checked in as a walk in and waited 15 min, a woman came out and said they were no longer accepting walk ins, even though I was already checked in and there were no other patients in line before or after me. So I still have to pay $5 for parking for absolutely nothing! When I asked her about it, she just shrugged. Beware they have no signage about walk in cut off times and require paid parking. There's also no sign on the outside of the building so it can be tricky to find. Definitely don't recommend this location. read more

The nurse was polite and did a great job. I was a walk in and was seen in 20 minutes!

Terrible customer service. Staff member who assisted me was not helpful. Didn't care.

1 Star= YOU HAVE TO PAY $4 FOR PARKING EVEN IF YOU ARE IN AND OUT IN 15 MINUTES!!, hard to find location because it is inside hospital building (wish I had researched/yelped it in advance but I was in a rush to get an appointment after work) AND the number if you are trying to call to double check location is a generic company one with no way to talk to a live person! 5 Stars=Service by Quest Diagnostic staff was quick and efficient Overall 3 stars. I didn't think I could ever say a blood draw experience could be 'fun' but it was. Eva was extremely personable and professional. Had me laughing a few times. I had read about the parking fees, so had my partner drive me and he waited outside until I was done. I had scheduled an appointment and even though the waiting room was full, I had a very minimal wait. Would definitely use this location again. Thank you Eva! read more

Checked in via text 10 minutes before my appointment. There's two kiosks to check in from but I prefer to minimize contact when I can. Plenty of seats in the waiting room. There's signs directing you where to go in the building to get to Quest. I love that there's hand sanitizer at the front counter. 3 minutes after my appointment time I was seen. Just had to verify my name, birthdate, and doctor with the phlebotomist. The blood draw and retrieval was simple. The process was simple and efficient. On the way back to the parking structure you can pay for your parking ticket (you must have your parking ticket on you) at the Elevators opening. Super simple. I'll definitely come back if I need to get a lab done in the future! read more

The most you can hope for at any Quest is that you get checked in properly and the tech knows how to draw samples. They've created a monopoly, and as such do not care about customer experience or service. No phone number to call no department to contact for concerns. They rely on kiosks and a yammering tv screen to tell you what's going on while grating in your last nerve. For what it's worth today's technician Alvin was very friendly and efficient and I was in and out of the chair in 5 min. read more

Eva Frani the lab draw tech, was upset I was a walk in at 6am with no other patients and waited for appts allowing me to sit so after 45 minutes I check in again then immediately called me in scolding me that I shouldn't have done that.i explained to her she typically get me in/out in 3-5 minutes and why did she intentionally make me wait alone with no patients in the waiting room?! Eva then proceeds to Intentionally poke me "digging around" in my arm until the pain was intolerable and I pulled my arm away..Eve did that to cause me pain & I called her on it until other workers came to remove me from Eva's hostile environment I was in..Scared and upset I walked out..I will never go back to this location as Eva plays games with patients she is upset at.. I will contact the Phlebotomist board as this is a Danger to any and all patients who may be seen by Eva Frani..Quest needs to seriously look into her work practice read more

This phone number for a Quest in Orange, California is useless as it goes to a location in New York! This Quest stuck a needle in my husband's vein and then asked for a credit card for tests that were already pre-paid! They charged him an additional $500 and duplicated tests we had done only weeks ago. This is egregious. Luckily, our credit card will make getting rid of this easy but the fact that this would even happen and that we wouldn't have a working number to contact anyone....nope, not gonna happen like that! read more

First off, Quest recommends making an appointment with their automated phone system, And that's where the fun starts! I was disconnected four times, then could only hear every other word, this is NOT a new problem! I DREAD when it's my six month checkup with my Dr., because I know I have to go through the fiasco at Quest, as a part of it! You're not seen as a person, until you're called back to a cubicle for a blood draw, I've had everything done, without saying anything but my birthdate. This is at the Shade Ave. location, so I tried using the Manatee, location, the service was just as poor, plus the lab tech put in my insurance number wrong, and it took me several calls and six months, until my insurance caught the error! read more

Super disappointed with my visit to this quest location. The front desk staff was rude to the patients coming in. It was truly uncomfortable to see how they were talking to their patients! The waiting room was full of patients asking how long it would be for their turn but the only positive note of my visit is my wait was not more than 15 minutes. When in the back the tech that drew my blood DID NOT CHANGE HER GLOVES!! I work in the medical field and this is a rule! She brought me back with the gloves on already and touched my insurance card, computer, cabinets and items she was going to need. I felt so uncomfortable I definitely will not be back read more

My appointment was during my work lunch at 12:40pm. I arrived early. A woman in scrubs (works at one of the local Offices) showed up 10 minutes after me saying the system would not let her check in. Her appointment was at 1:10pm. The system will not let you check in sooner than 15 minutes before your appointment time. She complained how she came early because she was on her lunch (ya lady- me too but I have to drive 20 minutes here and back). They took her back. I am still sitting here 30 minutes later with ~10 other people- 20 minutes after my appointment time- with a full bladder. The other woman has already left. No respect for our time even when we show up early to prevent them from getting behind. Let's review the scenarios between me and scrub lady: I am on lunch. She is on lunch. I have an appointment. She had an appointment. I showed up early. She showed up early. She complained and was out 15 minutes before her appointment started. I'm here 35 minutes later with no end in site. This is horrible service. They play favorites and do not respect the time , appointments scheduled, or full bladders of anyone else. So rude! I have no wasted over an hour of my time waiting for my appointment to drive here, wait, and drive back. We shall see how long the final time will be once I'm actually seen to update... my work will NOT be happy and I have ZERO control yet scrub lady was in and out in no time just because they played favorites. Update- took another 15 minutes before I was called. Took 2 minutes in and out from there. Now I get to see how much I incurred in parking fees while I was forced to be seen an hour after I arrived for my scheduled appointment. It will be close to a two- hour lunch for the 2 minute appointment. Plan accordingly if you must come here. Another woman was waiting over 2 hours without an appointment. She still hadn't been seen when I left. Parking was $4 for 1 hour 12 minutes read more

This is inside St. Joseph's Cancer Center right next to CHOC. It's located on the first floor next to the cafe, on the right as you enter. I'm giving it a 3 stars because I was able to get an appt same day through their website. I know I came at a good hour because nobody was there so I didn't have to wait long at all. The lady who helped me was nice and prompt. HOWEVER, you have to park in a structure, which was hectic btw. Parking is $5 for the first two hours. They validate your ticket for only a dollar discount. So you end up paying $4 to just go here (I was only here for 10-15 minutes). On top of that, you have to pay at the first floor of structure with the clerk or else you'll be stuck at the exit. Super inconvenient, especially if you're on a time crunch. read more

Quest is located on the 5th floor, in the St. Josephs Pavilion, across the street from CHOC/ St. Josephs Hospital. Quest has many locations throughout Southern California, and its best to make an appointment, unless you are not in any hurry. I went online and booked a 12:15 appointment for blood work. Luckily I arrived early, as the office is not easy to find, if you're not familiar with the St Joseph's Pavilion. The elevators are located near the Subway / Cafe, closest to Main Street door, farthest away from the parking structure lobby entrance. There's multiple lab technicians (or whatever you call them) and they can be a bit impersonal, but their job is to get you in/ get you out. Don't expect nice bedside manners from them. I am giving 4 stars because I am dreadfully afraid of needles. I had a bad experience, and I will cry like a little girl when it comes to drawing blood, or even getting injections. Eva did a great job. She spotted a "good vein" and used a small needle, and extracted 2 viles of blood without pain. I wish I got a sticker or lollypop for being a good patient. Instead, I got my parking validated. read more

Beyond negative even one star is too much for this facility! I'm literally traumatized! I am currently 38 weeks pregnant (baby's due in 8 days). My doctor put in an emergency lab request with quest for a simple blood work. Just one test. However this one test is to determine if I need to be induced NOW in order to avoid still birth! So it's pretty important. This was the second location I came to drive 25 minutes. Immediately upon walking in the girl said NO WALK INS TODAY DIDNT YOU READ THE SIGN! Oh my goodness I was shocked at her manners... I explained the situation to her... she rolled her eyes and said let me check the computer. AND SHE STILL TURNED ME AWAY!!!! Even after explaining how detrimental my situation was and they still had another 45 minutes before closing... Ofcourse I stood up for myself and said I'm 38 weeks pregnant you have to help me I won't make it all the way to Newport at this time... she then slammed the chair and began speaking about me huffing and puffing WOTH her co worker right in front of me... I said "I CAN HESR YOU! AND I KNOW OF YOU WERE 38 WEEKS PRETNANT WOTH A CHANCE OF SAVING YOUR BABYS LIFE, YOU WOULD". This young lady disrespectfully turned to me and said DONT BE RUDE! YOUR LUCKY IM DOING THIS NOW..." my goodnesssss I've never experienced such disgusting human behavior in my life. I was literally lost for words! Then she barely wiped WOTH alcohol or changed her gloves to be clean... she literally stabbed me with the needle leaving a huge bulge and bloody bandage. Throughly my entire pregnancy I've been having labs done with more than just one vile and NEVER BLEED OR HAD A BRUISE! This phelabotomist was soooo unprofessional violent and aggressive. All because she wanted to leave early because it's thanksgiving holiday. Unbelievable! This company Quest Diagnostic is a joke! Stay away! read more

Was given a time sensitive test that my normal Quest gave me yesterday. My normal quest told me to come here today to drop it off at a specific time. They told me I wouldn't need an appointment for a drop off. I get to this location, there's no one for you to talk to, you have to make an appointment with the kiosk and wait, and so I did. The girls working there today were so incredibly rude and came out and told everyone in the lobby that they wouldn't be assisting anyone. After we have all been waiting for 30 minutes. I told them I have time sensitive tests, she "checked" on my tests and told me I have 7 days. When the quest I came from yesterday said I had to turn it in today and that's why they sent me to this location. They were so rude to everyone waiting and just didn't care that we all had needs to be met. Don't go into healthcare if you're going to be so flippant with peoples lives. read more

Quest Diagnostics is horrible, they offer walk-ins knowing they have lots and lots of appointments and won't be able to get to you in a timely manner if you're a walk-in. Their check in ipads let you know, that as a walk-in you will have to wait between 30-60min , HUGE LIE , we waited over 2 hours to be seen (2 more people that came in at the same time as walk-ins, same thing waited over 2 hours). It is evident this place is extremely understaffed, by the time they help 1-2 people, 2-3 more are already walking in with appointments. Quest is obviously making good money with less staff which is great for them, but what about the elderly and sick people that have to be waiting hours to be helped (even people with appointments wait too long from what I was hearing), ridiculous place, a joke of a laboratory. As you can see in the picture, they don't even have anyone in the front desk, they have blocked it obviously to $ave more money and continue maximizing THEIR revenue. Quest is a SHAME. read more
