Any lab but Quest. we got for our appointment in Florida and prepared well in advance. I scanned my insurance information beforehand and thought I was all set. When I got there with my bar code , the kiosk started asking me to reprocess my whole appointment information again! By the time I was done they told me I was 5 minutes late ( I was not) and will treat me as a walk in with the wait time over 2 hours. Shame on you! I am a physician. I will have zero patients if I treated them this way! i wish you had better management not to repeat the same registration process twice and customer service skills. shame on you! read more

This past Saturday i was freaking out because my partner already had his biopsy scheduled for the 1st of February and i had not yet gotten him into Quest fir them to draw the blood for his tests pre-op. We got there after 9am, without an appointment. And the ladies there got us in very quickly. Like in 15 minutes or less. Then they didn't have the "order" on file. We left freaking out even more, and i rushed us home and foubd the order for the needed tests right by the front door. So we rushed back, tsil between my legs, and they saw us immediately. Before we went to the San Clemente office, i read several negitive reviews of this place. I don't say this lightly, and i don't guve gushing reviews if they're nor totally reserving of them. This place, and the ladues on the Saturday crew were amazing! They were kind, pateint, understanding, and totally cooperative with us. They even got the results to where they needed to be promptly, hense removibg this ton of stress i was loaded with becsuse of the situation i was in. Quest Diagnostics had my appointment at Costa Mesa office arrived 15 minutes early and checked in with the option to stay outside the office. When my appointment passed, I went inside and looked at the monitor and my name was not there so I asked to see what happened They said that she called my name 5 times but that I didn't answer. I told her I was sitting outside of the office because that's the option I selected when I checked in and told her nobody called my name from outside. She told me my name was taken off the list and I needed to sign in as standby and if I don't like it, I can go somewhere else. I asked for the manager and it looked like there was no manager in the office at that time. This was very bad customer service and staff attitude was uncalled for. I received a call from my Dr on a Thursday at 3:20PM that an order was placed for me to get a test at Quest with a goal of getting the results by the next day. Most of the quest labs in my area were closed at 3:00pm . As no appointments were available I drove to a lab that was open till 4:00pm as a walk in arriving at 3:50pm. The kiosk for check in would not accept my checking in after repeated attempts. While I was still trying to sign in an attendant came out from the back and said it was past 4Pm and they are closed. At this point approximately 4:10PM I found a another lab that was open till 5:00pm that I could get to by 4:35pm. I drove 35 minutes there and checked in to be told they weren't taking any more walk ins that day. Along with me being turned away was another woman who had already been waiting an hour and a senior gentleman who had to use his walker to cross the parking lot and get into the office , only to be turned away. This is not a way to treat customers concerning important matters of our health. We realize that preference is given for customers with appointments, but it is not always possible to get an appointment that's ordered later in the day and also when a customer may be ill. Location hours are posted on line for each site so if we arrive within those hours with or without an appointment we should be able to obtain service that day. If they are not going to accept walk ins after a certain time that is different than the hours posted, this should be noted online. There's no excuse for being inconsiderate of clients in these types of cases where consumers are already high stressed about health issues and then not being treated with just basic consideration. Horrible! Will never ever use Quest again! the worst! Made an appointment and account for my daughter. she went in at scheduled time they didn't ask for an ID. when we attempted to access her test results it made us answer questions to verify the account. the questions asked were ridiculous, we answered correctly and still said they could not verify her! so we called and spoke to a representative who verified the account said she she should have her results in a day and to wait until the end of the day. which at that point had been 2 days. so 3 days later still no results. even says she doesn't have any pending! attempting to call again says estimated wait time 10-20min I've currently been on hold for 40 min! it's a joke lessoned learn will ONLY use lab corp from now on!!!!!!!!!! read more

I took my mom to appt for bloodwork. She has mobility issues and rarely leaves home. We were unavoidably a couple of minutes late. She was refused service because she was more than "one minute late.". She tried to sign in as a walk-in. They said that she could not because she had an appt. I was billed by Quest Diagnostics for blood work that was paid in full by my insurance company. Quest never responded to my emails to customer service, nor answered their customer service phone number (something about staffing problems on the recording) So, I just gave up and paid this bill again. Here's hoping that I will get a refund, but I truly doubt this! Totally Unethical Behaviour on the part of Quest. Today I was see at Quest diagnostic at 3733,Richmond Ave SINY ( to drop off a prepared specimen ) After being asked to leave 3 days earlier an hour and half BEFORE they close. The office is filthy, the staff is rude & Do not change their gloves in between patients. They are always "running behind " due to being un-organized & Not professional. The quest office in Troy Illinois has awful customer service. Heather, an employee there, clearly was wearing an old mask(which shows she's not changing masks after each patient is seen, which is a regulation in healthcare).. Her mask was also not being worn properly, as her nose was exposed. However, while in the waiting room, she asked me to pull my mask over my nose, to which I complied, despite her mask not being worn properly. As she took me back to the room so I could receive my sample jar, her mask was still down. So I allowed my mask to do the same. She then told me I needed to pull my ask up. I pointed out that her mask was not up. She did not acknowledge this so I told her I've literally been able to see her nose the entire time. She told me I was rude so she wasn't going to give me the sample jar. Mind you, I never raised my voice, I calmly pointed out her own hypocrisy. Hours later my wife went in order to pick up my sample jar,( her mask was properly worn and never fell below her nose). Upon arrival Heather told my wife I was refused because i was rude. My wife told her she was just simply there to pick up the sample jar. Heather informed my wife that I wasn't wearing my mask properly, so my wife pointed out that Heather's mask was not worn properly the entire time they were now speaking. Heather said it was because she was talking. My wife stated she was talking and her mask had not fallen down. How can you refuse service based upon a mask not being worn, when the employee was not wearing is properly? Then refused my wife was 100% wearing it properly and the employee still was not wearing it properly? This is literally the first review I've ever written. Now I got mail from Collections agency. Make it make sense, Quest! Shitty company! Now, I have to deal with Collections agency during pandemic, and potentially they messed up with my credit report. I had a 12:00 appt and tried to sign in on their kiosk. It didn't recognize me. After 2-3 attempts I remembered my paperwork from the VA was in my motorcycle so I went out and got it. Unfortunately there was no account number on it to help me sign in. A woman (worker) came out of the exam area so I asked her how I get signed in. She was fairly rude and unhelpful. She said "since I was late the kiosk wouldn't let me sign in". I told her I was on time and she basically called me a liar saying, "I was out here a few minutes ago and you weren't here". I explained to her I went out to my vehicle but she turned and walked back into the exam area. Luckily there was a12:10 appt so I snagged that. The gentleman that drew my blood was great! I've been here before as a walk in. But since I work next door, I thought I would drop by to make an appointment. But they won't talk to you unless you fill in information on a keypad- birthdate, name, phone number etc. then you have to wait until you are called. I did all that and when I said I wanted to make an appointment, I was told to do that online. Wouldn't it be possible to post a sign that says "make appointments online" upon entry? So I sat and pulled out my phone to make an appointment while numerous people came in and were helped. Their site lists two offices on Alameda ave but one is closed and there was no documentation on the wall showing which building I was in. Why is the other building even listed! I found the proper address and tried to make an appointment for tomorrow morning but there are none available. So I had to go back to the check in kiosk and fill in the info again. I chose "text me" when ready. As I sat there for over half an hour, I watched half a dozen people come in and go right in. Meanwhile, nobody called my name. I asked the woman at the counter, "why haven't I received a text?" She said, "oh you will". After 40 minutes, I stood up blocking access to the counter. A guy in a suit came in as a walk-in and said he was in a hurry. As they called him I approached the counter, asking "why are all these people going in before me?" I showed the receptionist my quest confirmation text from 45 minutes before. She said, "but you were going to make an appointment!" So after finding that no appointments were available and after filling in my information at the kiosk a SECOND time, they had deleted it! There is an old expression snout people who assume and they assumed my second check in was some kind of computer. My assumption was thinking I was dealing with competent people. We were BOTH wrong! They never answer the phone. It's a chain. Great hours. If you know when you can get over there, make an appointment. Otherwise, yes, there's a wait. Typically 15-60 mins. Self check in. My forms get faxed over 2 mths in advance, they always ask me like they never got it. Then I stand there while they actually go the folder as suggested. Et voila! There indeed it is. Clean. The text I received told me to arrive and check in 10 minutes before the appointment which I did. After I checked in I received a text to go into the waiting room. I had to wait in a crowded waiting room for 40 minutes to be seen. This place is totally mismanaged and understaffed. The staff is completely confused. I went to the Quest Diagnostics facility in Allen, Texas this morning at 8:20am. I tried to sign up for an appointment over the phone before I got to the facility and it kicked me off the system. I walked in and signed in on the computer system at the entrance of the facility and I sat down. Within 10 min my name was called and I sat down in the examination room. I was greeted with, "You need an appointment." (This is no way to greet a customer) I explained to her that I tried to sign up online and was kicked off. She took my paperwork and was on the computer for several minutes. I explained to her the cardiologist was in Bedford, Texas and gave her the name of the referral company. After several minutes , I told her, "This is not working out." I took my paperwork and walked out towards the front door of the office. Before I walked out, I turned around and said, "Rude!" I visited the quest diagnostics in superio, colorado. my appointment was at 7:30am, I had fasted all night. I was starving. upon arriving, 2 workers were in a room with another client. they left me sitting there. they did not greet me or say hello. when I stated that I had an appointment at 7:30, they said they weren't ready for me. when I asked how much longer, they were extremely rude, vague then shut the door. my appointment ended up being an hour late. not only were they late. but the rudeness I received was uncalled for. This happened on May 19, 2023. This is my experience at Quest at 1120 W La Palma Ave Ste 7, Anaheim, CA 92801. I am a visiting nurse and I was there to drop off blood samples. They have a login kiosk where there are three buttons to choose, so I chose "Medical Professional". In other Quests, they will call you ahead of the pack because they know you have other patients to attend to. At this location , I waited and waited and I was not called, so I left and went to another lab (their competitor across the street). Not even two minutes, I was processed after they saw that I was just dropping off blood samples. My advice to fellow clinicians (nurses and phlebotomists) dropping off samples. Avoid this location if you are in a hurry or you are on programmed time schedule. The staff here act unprofessionally. If the insurance permits other labs, choose those. Quest treats you bad when they see you are wearin g nurses scrubs. read more

I decided to visit this QD location because the reviews were more positive than other locations. The check in process via mobile device was easy, efficient, and I waited less than 10 mins after my scheduled appointment time. I want to give a shout out to Crystal Parker, she was incredible, gentle with her hands (I felt no pain at all & I suffered no bruising), and was patient throughout the entire time. Although, a patient was asking her questions from the waiting room area and taking up my "lab time" she still maintained friendly, calm, and kind. I have a doctor's requisition for testing. Came on Monday and the kiosk told me there were no appointments available for the testing that I need. No appointments available within a reasonable time frame (3+ months) in my area (10001). I left. It's now Thursday. Ridiculous wait times at location for walk-ins and there are only 2 phlebotomist working. I'm still here and I've been waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes. Have to go back to work now so maybe I'll check out LabCorp next time. PS:. I'm number 7 on the walk-in list and they just knowingly let number 8 to go ahead of me. read more

This is not Tricore, my mistake thinking it was a similar lab. I will never return. I went to get a STAT lab on a Saturday, and their was a single person in the lab who came out to me and the other three women who were patiently waiting and told us we would not be seen because there were no walk-ins after 11am. This was not listed on the door or told to us by our doctors, and he had more than enough time to draw labs and he was rude and unfriendly. Then, when I tried to get information on whether anyone actually ran the Saturday morning labs, I could not find a working number for Quest. They are a work-week business with poor customer service. Quest, please employ at least one more person at this Sebastopol location. Make sure you wait outside. They are understaffed and it is common to see many people in the waiting room, too close to each other, sitting for a long time in a small closed waiting room, no windows open. They have replaced a staff member with a computer Kiosk. And the Kiosk doesn't care if 8 people are stuck in the waiting room together. The employees are good, but the company is understaffed for pandemic times. read more
