I'm done with Quest. Every time I schedule an appointment at one location I get there and they claim the appointment is for another even though I've checked it over and over. I had the right location. Of course they don't tell you that when you first get there so you sit and wait and wait. There is never anyone to talk to. Very impersonal. I just end up leaving and going to LabCorp. I can't recommend this lab. If they can't get their addresses correct in the computer how will they possibly get accurate lab results? read more

Super easy, went in at 10:30am on a Wednesday and there were a few people ahead of me in line, but they were all waiting for their papers to get faxed in from their doctors (whereas mine doctor sent me with mine). I feel really bad for the staff here. There is another Quest 1 minute from this one and patients get confused and come here instead of the other where they have their appointment. I saw multiple staff get harassed and yelled at by people that do not verify their appointment location. What is Quest managements fix? They put up a paper with tiny writing asking patients to verify they are at correct location. I saw a lady check-in, wait over 1 hour, and when she complained to staff she found out her appointment was for other office...but the young lady already got verbally assaulted. I saw those with appointments go in and out quickly. The lady that helped me even confirmed that appointments take priority which I dont blame them for because this Quest is busy. Be kind to the staff there. It is not their fault management cares more about profit. If they worried about you and your experience they would have front desk staff to assist with check-in and verify your appointment address. Poor ladies working here. Id be fired if I worked here cause I do no tolerate abuse and disrespect especially from strangers. read more

Before I drove early am I called in and ask regarding my situation and it clearly says on there voicemail that u don't need a requisition because they can call and verify it with ur physician . Check in and ask this lady who always draw my blood and always made a mistake but as a nurse who cares maybe this lady is just new or just being lousy . My husband had an appointment with text verification for 7:45AM, this morning. He arrived and received the text prompt to enter the building ... which was locked and nobody was there. I called Quest (951-414-5645) on his behalf. The automated message said to press 6 to speak with someone. I pressed 6 and when I did, I got "this key is not valid. Please try again." Ugh. read more

The tech who took my blood (twice now) 12 viles the first time, 7 the second is, EXTREMELY unprofessional. I knew she was distracted while taking my blood the last time and now I'm sitting here at the doctors office trying to get my results and my poor doctor is arguing with quest that the blood was taken. I took a photo of all viles taken and now they can't find it, saying they never received that vile...yet I have a photo of it...full of my blood. This was bloodwork to see if my unborn child has any chromosomal abnormalities which is pretty important, especially after 4 years of fertility treatments. She'll talk your ear off about her depression and being hungry but can't pay attention to her job. The last time she had to ask another tech to come in and input the order correctly because she didn't know how. I will definitely not be heading back to this location out of fear of her messing up my bloodwork again. read more

Front desk was eh.... not rude but not friendly as a front desk should be. What is it with people who choose their career and yet look like they hate it these days? I get bad days but it was at opening hours! Seems to be the normal now, when someone is nice it shocks me more than the rudeness. Lab tech taking my kids blood was great! I walked in without an appointment on a Friday and there were about 15 people waiting. I was in and out in about 15 mins. Staff is very efficient and super nice! I had phlebotomist by window. She's taken my blood twice and she's amazing! Very grateful for their efficiency and kindness. read more

Horrible, Horrible Staff. I am a caregiver for an elderly patient. We came on a Tuesday to get blood drawn. My patient was in a wheelchair, they didnt even talk to her. Like, she wasnt there. Never did i get help with a door or anything, while trying to get her in with a wheelchair. While we were waiting another person had a dispute as soon as she left they talked about her. We had to come back Thursday for more Blood tests and a urine test. They gave me attitude, because i need a colinder for the pee sample for my patient and didnt even offer me gloves, i had to hunt them down myself. Then argued to do the blood first, when my patient was already needing the bathroom. These people are in the wrong business. HORRIBLE!! Nothing but attitude. read more

The staff here is EXTREMELY RUDE and LAZY. They tried sending my daughter to another lab because they said they dont except her insurance. She is covered by 2 difference insurance plans. I said told them I know they except Tricare and they acted like they didnt see thay she was covered. Then the girl said oh well you will have to pay a co-pay. I told her that's fine. Funny part is, I didnt have a co-pay. Flat out lazy! They were just trying to send us over so they had on less patient. I will never go to this lab again. read more

Online hours posted open at 7:00 AM. Phone recording states open hours 7:00 AM. Show up at 7:00 AM to see sign on door stating open hours 7:30 AM. Actual open time: 7:30 AM. I was doing a drop-off that had to be there within an hour. Hopefully my results are not compromised by the late open. Question: if you cannot trust them with a simple task of posting their hours properly, how much are you willing to trust them with their actual lab work? One guy said his appointment was scheduled for 7:15 AM. Why would you schedule someone when you are not open? Disrespecting time with no apology is intolerable. Side note: the technician who treated me was fantastic! Maybe she should promote to a position of leadership to solve your mismanagement. read more

Made my appointment 60 days in advance. Arrived 15 minutes before they opened as it said appointments done first but walk ins accepted. I held the door for several people including a jack ass named Art who claimed he arrived before me. No big deal I had an appointment. All walk ins were done first I sat and watched the board and watched walk in after walk in get called back. I finally caught someone's attention when they were calling another walk in back and got told oops we didn't see you had an appointment. Really. Months ahead. Would of been better off walking in. Went past my appointment time on a oops we didn't see you. Also the kiosk did not read my scan code nor anyone else that morning. And personally I felt the tech had a real attitude about me complaining. It's never taken 6 minutes to input my paperwork. I've been here before it's normally quick. Then was berated for not fasting when I was not advised to. Very disappointed in the service today. Guess as this is where your insurance sends you there's no need for customer care. read more

The place is a little busy, however overall the place is good. The only reason I gave it a four was because of the wait. I was a walk in but noticed that appointments are available. The front desk staff was friendly professional and courteous, and they did seem overwhelmed with work. The lady that took my blood was great, shot didn't hurt and she was awesome. Is this place bad? Let me count the ways. I deal with labs all the time (mostly with Scripps) and this hands down is horrible. I have been here twice now and both times has been lousy. When I walked in, there was a person sitting at the desk but no acknowledgement of any kind. She just stared at me. I had never been there and didn't realize that you needed to sign in on an electronic tablet), I kept looking for the sheet sign-in. As I waited to asked her about signing in, another person signed in and was placed ahead of me. The receptionist (if that is what she was), turned and looked at me and said I better sign-in or I will be here all day. Nice. I finally get called and the guy handed me stuff and said instructions are on the letter. I asked if he would go through everything with me because if it is done wrong, my son would have to start over. He rolled his eyes and was crabby. Another lady walked by and asked how everything was going. They promptly starting speaking Spanish and was pointing at my medical supplies. I interrupted and asked what he was saying and I was told it wasn't any of my business and he wasn't talking to me. Well, if you are helping someone with a medial issue, you need to speak the same language so everyone can understand them. The second visit didn't go much better. I would rather drive the 1+ hour to Scripps instead of dealing with this 3rd rate lab. read more

The last couple of visits to the Hancock location I was fortunate to have Reyna as our phlebotomist... My Mother is 92 and sometimes drawing blood can be an ordeal of sorts, given the fact that her veins aren't what they use to be. Reyna showed an exquisite compassion to her specific needs, especially given that the office were closing and had allot of moving parts going on. Reyna was able to slow everything down which kept my Mom calm and relaxed. She is a superb professional and seems to care about people and how to do her job right. Quest is very fortunate to have an individual with such a strong understanding and caring touch not commonly afforded to the general public these days. My Mom even commented "That lady was sure nice and gentle". It's great to know special people the likes of Reyna are still out there making a positive difference in there particular fields of endeavor. Hat's off to you Reyna. Gil A. read more

Most disorganized place ever!! 3 hours (with an appointment) of not getting faxes, computer system not working then working then shutting down, and having to call multiple times to verify vile amounts they should take! You would think a blood diagnostics place would just have a printout or chart showing the amounts required for different tests and not rely on their computers when they are clearly unreliable! Complete shitshow! No regard for two parents who took off work for a simple blood test for their two scared daughters 3 and 5 years old. I for one do not like this lab. My urologist sent over a standing order for me to drop off specimens when I feel like I have a problem. Several months ago I took a specimen in and my doctor never received the results. A week and a half ago I dropped one off, the lab called my home soon after I left the lab to say they did not have a standing order. My doctor faxed over another standing order & would you believe again....my doctor has not recieved the results. What the heck is wrong with these people?? Plus some of the staff are not very friendly, they act like they hate there job (I say....go get another job that they like). I have no choice but to go there.....very dissappointed!! read more

The people here are rude! They talk to you like your little mis-behaved children. As a matter of fact, I am not even sure I have ever talked to my child in the way they spoke to my husband. The man behind the counter acted like it was his first day, he made it very clear it was not. They gave him a specimen container thing the week prior. It had no directions and no label. When we returned to drop it off they had him sit in the waiting room with specimens that should not be in a room full of people, I don't care if its in a container or not, its disgusting. When he finally was called up the man behind the counter gave him crap because it wasn't labeled. His exact words were "where did you get this container and why isn't it labeled, who gave it to you?" My husband said "you". It was actually comical because he didnt say anything after this. Anyways obviously he had no choice but to have his lab work done at this place, in the future I will be sure the doctor sends us to a different lab. If you can avoid it don't go here. read more

Absolute worst experience ever. Staff was rude from the minute you walk in. They tell you that they need to preauthorize your crediit card for POSSIBLE charges. They give you a range and when I refused they told me I could go to another lab. I pushed them to prove this new Quest Policy and they gave me a flyer on an Easy Pay option that they offer. Nowhere does it say it is mandatory. I stepped outside to call my insurance Co. And a few minutes later Esmeralda told me they would do it this one time. She then rushed me off the phone by rudely telling me they were closing. Be prepared when you go here to have a credit card although nowhere does it say you need anything more than your ID, insurance card, and doctor's orders. They are basically trying to collect before billing insurance. My experience tells me that you should always cross reference your EOB with a ill before paying it. Since when does a lab charge a co-pay which isn't a set amount but a range. I heard them tell a girl in front of me that her charges could be anywhere from $126 to over $600. I am taking this up the chain because if this is truly Quest's new policy we as patients should be made aware before using their services. read more

Thank goodness I made an appointment because within 5 minutes of walking into the large waiting room it became almost filled to capacity. The main reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the front desk staff....VERY unprofessional. Each time I have been in there they never smile or acknowledge you. I was standing at the counter as they continued to walk past me and never said "hello" or "We will be with you shortly." And as they sat there they continued to have conversations in Spanish between each other (loudly). Um, I can understand speaking Spanish to the patients that don't speak English but to each other? My best guess is they would "switch" languages when they were talking about people or situation's out in the waiting room as they didn't want them to know what they were saying. And the one girl in front had so much makeup on her face you would think she was going out on a Night on the Town...Geez! Show more professionalism. Otherwise, the lab was clean. I still would go elsewhere next time and be SURE you make an appointment before you go here or you will be waiting quite some time with ALOT of other people read more
