I came here for prental labs, glucose test & an anemia test. The lady who took my blood was great, however I returned to my OB the following week only to be informed that my bloodwork was LOST from Quest Diagnostics. I made another apt to get all of the tests redone, and got confused on which office I had to go to for the new blood work, I was maybe 15 minutes late because of the location mix up - JUST TO BE TURNED AWAY & told to come another time. I chose this location rather than their neighbor because they have better reviews and I was right to do so. I had an appointment, and this location was extremely busy! The small lobby area was jam packed with people waiting out the door. I used the automated check in, and waited maybe 5 minutes before I was called back. Lucille conducted my labs, and was an absolute sweetheart. She has fantastic bedside manner, and is polite, quick and efficient. I understand there is a massive wait for walk ins, but that's the risk you take with no appointment. This location could benefit dramatically with a receptionist to assist the many people with questions, but that is at no fault of the staff, but rather the company itself. We came in today 2/25/22 with our autistic son for a blood draw. A blood draw is difficult for any child but for an autistic child it is a process to say the least. His anxiety was through the roof before we entered. There was a phlebotomist lady who was very stern and told us only one parent could be with him due to COVID. Rules are rules, but the way she said it being assertive and loud about it began to upset my son. My wife and I tried to explain why we wanted to be in there but the phlebotomist rudely interrupted and would not listen to our request to calm our son. We elected to have a different phlebotomist do his draw at the location because we were concerned he would panic if she tried to put a needle in his arm. The second phlebotomist did a great job with her calming strategies and we were grateful for her. I hope the management reads this as I am sure this is not the first complaint on the first phlebotomist due to her lack of bedside manner and compassion. My words cannot express how her rude tone and dismissive behavior was. Unbelievable. read more

Quest seems so much better than LabCorp except, their appt system drops people frequently. Me-twice. That being said, their phlebotomists are good. I'm curious about their web presence; I have to sign in 2X, and they ask me about Cookies 4 X. What medically sensitive info does this help? Or, is Quest doing a side business of selling any of Our data? So my 4stars is solely on the ladies drawing blood. I advise anybody getting an appt online-take a pic of the confirmation page. I don't understand why they say they accept walk ins. I understand without an appointment it would take a little longer but I've been waiting over two hours and am still currently waiting. There is no one to talk to at the front desk so I had to talk to a phlebotomist when they open the door and let them know I'm pregnant and that I was told to fast for my blood drawn and that it's basically lunch time and that I haven't eaten. She told me go ahead and eat and just make an appointment for another time. Like I haven't been here for 2 hours!!! Which I told her I've been here for two hours. I know maybe making an appointment would of been a smarter idea but my doctor told me I didn't need to make one, so that's why I didn't make one. Now I know never to come to this quest and for anyone thinking of doing a walk in DON'T. Oh and also they are behind on there appointments about 30 minutes. So even if I made an appointment here I would still wait. My advice is just don't come to this quest. read more

It's quest diagnostics company, It's not the employees. Quest system of checking in is terrible. Once an appointment is made online a patient must check in again when they get there. There are people who don't understand how the touch screen works holding up the screen causing people who arrive on time to be late, and their labs won't be drawn. Please revamp this system or at least notify people that they should arrive 30 minutes early for an appointment in case the two screens are held up for one reason or another. It happened to me twice now I know I better get to the lab at least 20 minutes before my schedule appointment. read more

Most of the ladies that work here are wonderful, but as many other places there is going to be a bad seed that make the customer give the place a low rating. The request for masking up should be approached without yelling and making a scene! Just ask to put one on and call it a day! But when your yelled at by being told "no mask, no service" it's not necessary to be an ass just ask. Other than that the service was wonderful even with the longer wait that is understandable at certain times of the day. read more

Such a joke. Insurance change over 3 years ago and every time we go they revert back to the old insurance and never make the change. Something that has to be gone over every single time. Well so be it, we are in collections because of this from a visit last year. Blue cross blue shield is saying too far out to have corrected. We never received a call or late notice from anyone, just a letter from a collection company last week. We will not be allowed to go to Quest any longer due to this and I am very thankful for this. I was very impressed with this Quest lab. I'm used to the labs in LA, so this was a first class experience compared to that. Despite not making an appt and the other location being shut down, the wait time was brief. Even with 6 other people waiting, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The attendant was very friendly, courteous and efficient. My phlebotomist (a male, didn't catch his name) was polite and made me feel at ease. I have to get blood drawn every month, and this was by far my best experience. Will definitely make this my go to lab. read more

MUST READ!! I will completely have to agree with previous reviews when it comes to front desk staff. She was not friendly at all but not rude. She did NOT greet us, she did NOT provide a smile and she did NOT seem to enjoy her work. She just asked us to sign in and she'll call us... (As I hold lab paper in hand asking if she would like it). During the time I waited she had two MEN come to her window and her whole demeanor CHANGED!! They got a smile, she reviewed their paperwork, she even looked in computer to help them??? WTHeck??? Thirsty chick for sure!! But my review is on the actual lady who took us to the back room to draw blood on our Son for the first time!! WHATS IMPORTANT HERE & TO ME!! She was completely different! She was sweet and walked him through what she was going to do. She even explained the instruments to him and was completely professional. SIDE NOTE: Although, the thirsty chick in front was clearly no help don't review them on who takes your insurance information. I have had my labs and blood draws at Quest Diagnostics several times over the years. I have always been treated professionally, efficiently, and respectfully. The phlebotomists are friendly and confident which is very reassuring. My veins are not the easiest to find and every phlebotomist I have seen at Quest has drawn my blood pain free. I have made appointments and also walked in on occasion. Either way my wait time has always been short. I appreciate that I can view my lab results online. Thank you Quest! read more

After checking in on line, I was instructed to wait in my car and I would get a text. After waiting 20 minutes, I came inside. Glad I did. There were a couple other people in the waiting room and the lady came out and said there were no more walk-ins. I explained I had an appointment AND had checked in and they still didn't want to see me. They were rude to other people who were waiting and refused to help a gentleman who clearly needed assistance. I wish I could give this place zero stars. And now I jus found out that they were complaining about a patient to another patient making excuses as to why they were running behind. Unbelievably unprofessional. read more

Phlebotomist at this location was very crude, rude and unprofessional behavior. My doctor did not put my name on the lab order for a urinalysis to be performed for my ongoing kidney infection. I brought my urine sample with me to the laboratory. The phlebotomist refused to process my order, and stated that she was keeping the laboratory order. Furthermore, the phlebotomist did not even suggest contacting the doctor for a new laboratory order from the doctor while the wait room was empty. When I requested the laboratory order be given back to m, the phlebotomist refused and started to walk away with the order. I informed the phlebotomist it was my order and belongs to me and I want the order back, she refused and started to walk away. When I tried to retrieve the lab order from the phlebotomist, the labripped and I walked away because now the lab order is unable to be processed. I guess this is how Quest phlebotomist's are trained to treat senior citizens. read more

Been here a few times for my blood work and glucose test for my pregnancy. Staff is attentive, never had an issue with them. The waiting room is a little cold but it's out of their control. I always get the guy and he's very nice, don't know his name, but he's Latin or Mexican, very friendly. This last time I had to drink the glucose juice and wait an hour. I sat there for an hour and the last 10 minutes, lady came to check on me and ask if I wanted a blanket or wanted to lie down while I waited. I wished she had offered that to me sooner, but since it was only 10 minutes left, I declined. read more

I usually never have a problem with them, my experience are always excellent. I always get out in a timely manner and everything is great. Today was a little different. I changed insurance companies. Quest said I had to pay $15 and it will be on hold until my insurance claim goes through and from there if we owe anything the max they can take us $15. I had to hand over a debt/credit card. Okay I did. I got home and told my husband that we now need to pay for our blood work. He looks at me with the confused stare and says, "no we do t it's fully cover." I called my insurance and explained what happened and they said that we are fully covered and she has not heard of quest doing that before and she works with them a lot. We call quest together but there was a disconnect on my insurances end but I was next in line to speak to the billing of quest so I stayed on the phone. Basically I did not have to pay the $15, it was optional. The staff have to ask for a debit/credit card bill and I could have said no. The staff is not obligated to tell us that it's optional to pay. In a week if we end up not owing our insurance anything then the payment will drop off. Maybe I'm over reacting? read more

Worst service in the world. Trying to see if my oncologist sent in an order for blood work. Impossible to get a live human being on the phone. Every location the same. Automated system is horrendous. This is a very clean lab. Several techs working so the wait it really minimal. I've never waited more than 10 minutes , if even that. Never seen the waiting room crowded. Don't spread the word lol. They all are very friendly and will chat with me to keep me calm. They know I'm nervous and I get labs done every month by different drs. Some draws are 10 tubes. So I can be in there 2 or 3 times a month. Their draws have never hurt me. They get it the first time every time. I'm a difficult one. So grateful for this location and the people that work there. I have went to this quest diagnostics location many times over the years. I am currently going through pregnancy complications and my doctor has me getting my hCG levels checked every 48 hours. The doctor called me today and told me to go in before the end of the day and that they sent the order in to this class location so I could get another blood draw. I walked in and went to check in and the ladies who greeted me were extremely rude and told me they couldn't help me after I explain the situation that they needed to be done today and I couldn't wait until tomorrow for the doctors orders they said fine will make a one time exception. mind you there were no patience other than myself in the office and it was 15 minutes before they closed so I didn't see why it was this big of an inconvenience for the workers. As I was getting my blood drawn I heard two other guests come in we're both greeted warmly and told yep check in and will be right with you. I am absolutely blown away and how I was treated today and I hope the employees are notified of this review and reminded by their management team to be kind to the guests that enter that location. I am pregnant and in immense pain and the cherry on top of being told you're having pregnancy complications is to go in somewhere and be treated like crap. Be kind you never know what somebody is going through but you always have the opportunity to make their day better rather than worse. read more

This place is amazing. I'm a bit of a hard stick (usually takes two tries) and have a huge fear of needless but these guys are pros. Ana has done my blood work twice and both times she was very caring and got it in the first time. The other girl who did my blood work got it right the first time too! I prefer my left arm (harder stick unfortunately) but instead of trying it they will say the right arm is better for a stick the first time. Wait times are quick too. I also don't recommend this location due to the lab corp right outside being the same suite number...in the same building! 1 out of 5 people will go to the wrong suite and miss their appt for the right one. I won't be going here again just because of the employees and how they talk to you. read more

I must say I was so thrilled with the customer service at Quest Lab on Hancock in Murrieta. First off I do not like having my blood drawn and I am not feeling good at all. I have Lupus and many other complications. My Daughter ad I were greeted by the lovely Jalissa and Laura. I was having a major issue with A+ Urgent Care and Jalissa jumped right in and helped me out. She was able to get my lab slip faxed over so she could assist me. They made me feel very comfortable and treated me so well. Excellent Customer Service skills. I took the time to call their Supervisor Janeen and tell her how wonderful her Staff is and they both deserve a raise. A great big MAHALO to Jalissa and Laura. You made my bad day a wonderful day. I wanted to leave a review here for two reasons: one being that the staff here is extremely friendly, professional and efficient & two being today during my visit around 8:30am I had to watch a horrible lady harass them because she couldn't wait 8 minutes. They have a new system up where you sign in on a digital pad and then your wait time is displayed on the TV. This system must be allowing them to get through patients faster then ever because I have had blood work done numerous times in the past and never has it gone by so quickly. I had to wait only 10 minutes and when your fasting for blood work that quick time is very much appreciated. The staff was very kind with everyone and moving so fast you could easily tell that they were working hard. The woman that I mentioned before was extremely rude and demanding to speak to someone else when told that she would be helped in the order that she signed in, because there were others that came before her. She refused to sit back down in her seat and just stood at the desk in front of the staff and literally said, "I don't have eight minutes". After standing and staring at the woman behind the counter for a good 3-4 minutes she stormed out. Who doesn't have 8 minutes? I get it if you are rushing or going to work but then just come back a later time when YOU have time. It's not the staffs responsibility to clear their wait for you, that's not fair or reasonable. I just wanted to leave a good review and give an outsiders perspective on that incident because I'm sure that woman is going to call and complain and the staff didn't deserve that treatment. I was really impressed with how the staff composed themselves and handled the situation. As much as I dread blood work and hate doing it the staff here made it a quick and pleasant as could be experience. read more

**Please note that the location closes between 11:30am to 12:30pm. Not between 12:30pm to 1:30pm. What is very upsetting and irritating. Is that I was able to make my appointment on line. Yet no one bothers to call you to advise you of the change. It's not like they are not aware of their appointments on their portal. I tried to deal with a bill for my 95-year old Dad. He is on Medi-care. One would think he would be covered for a routine lab test. The first problem: I had to go through three and a half minutes of prompts before I could get even an option for a representative.( My phone indicated it was literally 3 1/2 minutes) Well, that would have been exasperating enough. But wait...there's more! I finally got to the billing prompts. There were two choices...pay my bill or hear the balance. WHAT! I needed to challenge the bill not pay it. And I all ready know how much it was. I waited. A second time it repeated the two prompts; no other choices. A third time it repeated the same two prompts. I waited trying to figure out what to do. Finally, after some silence, a representative came on. Good thing I hung in there. The representative sounded like my inquiry was ruining her day. It was rather unpleasant. The next day I called again to get some clarification. This representative got all my information, then asked what state. I told him California. With out an other word to me, he put me back into the prompt system to start all over. I hung up. When I tried the third time, the representative was just as unpleasant as the first one. I wouldn't go as far as saying the staff is rude. I just felt they were very unattentive to what was going on. I am sure they take blood and samples all the time. To them it is no big deal. Just another needle and vial. But for me and my son this was his first time having someone take vials of blood. It is a little unnerving especially when you do not know what is going to happen. I believe just a friendly hello and a simple question, like "do you know what we are doing this for? Do you have any questions about what is going to happen, anything at all aside from sit there, put your arm here, thanks your done. read more
