I came here with my daughter for bloodwork with an appointment. The self-service kiosk was easy to use. The prompts were simple, from scanning your barcode if any, to scanning your insurance card. Not great for those that prefer things the traditional way with a live person. Despite the appointment time, my daughter was seen rather late. Fortunately, the phlebotomist had great bedside manners and was proficient in her work. As a former phlebotomist years ago, I'd say she was excellent. My daughter would beg to differ. Thursday, Feb 15, 2024: I made this appointment online and it was smooth sailing from then on. I received a series of text messages confirming my appointment, reminders, and the day of, instructions were given on how to check in. It was so convenient! No sooner had I entered the door, the young lady behind the counter called out my name and asked to see my military ID and directed me to take the first seat in the next room. She came back and asked if I had fasted and I said yes. She then remarked that it must have been hard to fast all day. I agreed and told her I was famished. I coordinated this appointment after my appointment at the Tricare Temecula Branch Clinic, which is conveniently about a minute away. I needed some lab work for my endocrinologist. I said I was going to either eat at Eggplants Thai or Da Coconut Cafe. We had a really nice, friendly chat. I did forewarn her that I had tiny veins but she expertly found a spot. She had skills because I barely felt a prick! I thanked her and wished her a good day and she did the same! Out of respect to the other people and their privacy I did not take photos of the office. Although it was small, it was very clean and well lit. However, I took photos of the exterior and lobby. The lab is located on the second floor with signage located at different locations directing you to Quest. I was a little concerned at the bad reviews. Thankfully, I can only report that it was all good! I found it to be such a smooth process. I'm thankful for this pleasant experience and to the friendly and proficient phlebotomist. read more

Made an appointment online. Got there before my appt time, but then they said I DIDNT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. NO confirmation number was given. It just said my appt was scheduled. Sick & tired of online appts. Why can't we speak with a representative? The pregnant woman or maybe she was just a heavyset woman was not friendly! She just didn't seem to want to be there. Once again turned away. They refuse to honor their own app which allows you to choose test under workplace employment tests. TB is required to work in Healthcare. They wiil not do it. I will go to CVS Minute Clinic instead. Rude and not helpful. read more

If I could give this quest location a ZERO, I would. On a Monday, the whole clinic is being run by one person. The employee walks in late, fumbling on everything she has to do. She is struggling to get things started and she's having IT issues. She resorts to asking everyone for the print out orders because she can't access anything on the computer. Meanwhile the lobby is filling up with patients and she is entirely overwhelmed now constantly saying "it's just me." She turned away people who had appointments because she couldn't access their orders and they were unable to get a hold of staff at the doctors office to fax over the orders. Rude and lazy. Been here twice. First time they threw a fit like a toddler because my doctor sent me over for lab work without an appointment, here's the kicker: THEY WERE EMPTY! Second visit, the one I had to schedule with an animated voice not a real person they threw a fit again because I did not have my insurance card. Apparently even though they've seen me before they need it again but the robot didn't tell me that when I scheduled the appointment two weeks ago. So instead of calling downstairs to see if they could maybe have them email it, they sent me upstairs. Also they open at 8 but don't really open their doors until 815 so if you have to go to work after better plan to be late. read more

The male lab tech working the front desk was incredibly rude to patient after patient. Refused to take a patient who was late for their appointment while I made an appointment on site that was available in 8 mins and now I'm still sitting here 10 mins past my appt time waiting to be seen. There are no "hellos" or pleasantries utilized here. It is all barking "do you have an appt" as soon as you step in to the office which has standing room only. read more

Today Quest Diagnostics at 28780 Single Oak Dr just gave me the WORST lab experience of my life. I had a 1:10 appointment scheduled and arrived at 1:02 P.M. to find the door looked and two other patients arriving within 4 minutes for appointments scheduled @ 1:20 and 1:30. Non of us had received notification that the lab was closing at 1:00. A lab technician opened the door as their previous patient departed and told us that we would need to go to the facility at 27699 Jefferson Ave Ste 109 Temecula, When I asked if that would mean that we would be treated as "walk-ins" the technician said "just tell them we had to close." Upon arrival at the Jefferson facility ALL appointments were full for the day and they instructed us to use the "walk-in" list as one of the technicians said to her supervisor "how are we going to do that? we all have full appointments." After fasting for 15 hours and having a full bladder for the urine sample and NO feasible sign of being seen today. I decided to reschedule for another day. The first available appointment Is for July 11th which caused Dr. Combs office to reschedule my long standing July 13th appointment to OCTOBER! Quest's INCOMPETENCE in following the schedule set by your on-line automated system has reeked HAVOC on this patient's ability to get reasonable treatment! I am extremely dissatisfied with your service. read more

Got in and out quickly because I had an appointment but this was the worst pain I've ever had having my blood drawn. (Usually it only hurts for a second when the needle goes in) It hurt the whole time it was in my arm. Don't know if this is common, but have a huge bruise even 4 days later. read more

I get my blood drawn frequently and this last time was by far one of my best experiences. I believe the gentleman that took my blood was named Keith (I think he was a young Asian male, maybe Filipino). He took the time to find my vein instead of trying to poke around, he got it on his first try and I barely felt anything! He was also very friendly and comforting. read more

Never thought I'd be writing a review for Quest Diagnostics because every experience has been so bad. But this location was so competent, efficient and most of all, professional. From the front staff to the phlebotomist drawing the blood, everyone was just friendly and courteous. Prior to drawing the blood, I saw them introducing themselves to each person, asking how they were feeling, and just treated everyone with respect. I guess this should be a common baseline expectation, but based on my previous experiences, I've just come to expect either no service or rude service. Keith was the person who helped me and he was so helpful. I'm not gonna lie, getting a blood draw will never be considered a pleasant experience for me, but Keith made it as comfortable as it can be. I have always had a pleasant experience here, especially how gentle they are with the actual blood work, but today especially they went above and beyond. I had to bring my 2 year old with me this time to get blood work. They entertained her, kept her smiling and eased my stress during my blood work.
