After finishing my other tests, I left, went back to my doctor for new paperwork, and scheduled another appointment at Labcorp--only to later see that Quest had already run the bile acid synthesis test and posted the results in my app. This kind of miscommunication is unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress, time, and extra appointments.

Instead of receiving basic assistance, the receptionist was extremely rude and had a snarky, dismissive attitude. Her behavior was very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking a question. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told there wasn't one on duty. The receptionist even laughed and acted like she wouldn't face any consequences, which was incredibly disrespectful. I will be reaching out to her supervisor Tana to address my experience and hopefully I won't have to go further with higher-ups. Customer service should never make patients feel belittled or unwelcome, especially in a healthcare setting. I hope Labcorp addresses FRANKIE'S behavior at this location and provides better training on professionalism and courtesy.

So I didn't get seen by a phlebotomist and walked out without patient care. I took my business to West Pac instead, where there was no wait, was seen as soon as I got there, where staff treated me like a patient and were kind, uplifting and compassionate toward patients. But the most amazing thing is that I didn't feel the slightest pinch, no pain at all, and a day later, I don't have any sign of bruising whatsoever. Rachel, you are the best! The facility was clean. I didn't have to wait for my appointment. Quest, as a business model, is very efficient and can feel cold with the lack of human interaction, so you have to be ready for self check-in which is not difficult, and be ok with the fact that there is no receptionist. But the few minutes I spent with Rachel were surprisingly fun, and that was unexpected.

We started with a 2D scan, but as soon as we experienced the 3D/4D scans, we knew there was no going back. Seeing our baby in such detail felt like we were really meeting him even before birth, every little kick, movement, and even facial expression! Week by week, we watched him grow. I'd heard that after 34 weeks, it's hard to see much, but we kept coming at 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39 weeks and every visit was magical. When he was finally born at 39 weeks and 4 days, I couldn't believe how perfectly he matched the ultrasound images, his hands, his movements, his little expressions...everything! I feel so thankful for the memories we captured even before our son arrived. Now that I am holding my baby in my arms, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I want to say a big, heartfelt thank you to Esperanza for showing us the best moments of our baby and making this journey unforgettable.
