Ive been here a few times but I don't think I'll be coming back anymore. I came in originally for a mani and pedi but they cut my nails way too short, to the point that it hurts when i try to open some baby food. I just wanted a regular manicure but they assumed I wanted gel or acrylic so they cut it super short. When they finished with my manicure, I was pointed to the fans and they kinda assumed I knew how to work it (but i figured it out anyway) I waited to see if anybody was going to lead me to sit for a pedicure but no one came and they took in other customers first. Compared to back home, they do a decent job. The girl who did mine made the gel thick like I like but did file them too short... probably because she cut them instead of file them like I asked. Overall the shape was right, and the color is my usual. She did do a messy job with my accent nail but it's good enough, used to nail techs having a little brush to remove access polish. Average nail shop, good for last minute nail place. Worth $32, probably not but hey, when you need help you get what you get lol! read more

I went to this salon yesterday for my anniversary and I came in with a very simple photo of Matt green nails with the ring finger having a natural acrylic only having a design on it. Then I said I want my right hang exactly the same except I would like that hand red. She said she didnt have those colors immidiately. So I switched to glitter colors after gluing my nails on she magically remembered she had the colors I wanted and she shows Me and says " oh I forgot we had these" so I ask her to continue with what I had originally wanted. She begins doing green acrylic but then does my ring finger in green. So I politely said " um I'm really sorry but the ring finger is supposed to be clear with a design as I'm showing her the picture. She stands up tells me I asked her already and i Said green on all nails. I politely begin to say um no I'm sorry but i just want it like the picture so she grabs the book of colors and throws it in my lap yelling " then what color do yoI want" I was so in shock that I just sat there staring at her. I look to my husband and back to her quiet and she finally magically understold that I didn't want a color. then continued to finish my nails in an aggressive manner. Im not sure why but I still say there in complete awkward silence as she ripped the green she messed up on and finished my nails. Didn't feel welcomed at all when I stepped in. They took forever to greet me and when they finally did they told me to have a seat only for me to wait long without anyone telling me someone will be right with me. I asked for a Queen Bee manicure, which is more expensive, and was given the basic pedi. I wound up taking the pumice and doing my feet myself. I told the man that he didn't bother doing the bottom of my feet, and he laughed and said I did a better job. As a customer I want to pay for what I asked. If I wanted a basic pedi I would've asked for it. The people have their own version of being nice, but I will not be spending anymore money here. OK so I went and had eyelash extensions put on. They looked amazing except my eyes were red. The girl said I had to wait and the redness would go away. Two days later I couldn't open my eyes. The swelling was so bad. I went in and had them removed. After paying to have it put on. I had an allergic reaction. Which I wasn't tested for before they put them on. The nails are awful, they're bumpy/uneven and when I asked for a discount all the workers in the shop crowded me and looked at the nails trying to tell me to change the color or say it was fine. The nail tech this time used a nail file that has been used prior on my hands and feet! Grosssssssss!!!!!!!!! Every client should have their OWN personal nail file. I always feel like they want to up sale me and they get me.... it's really the only way your going to enjoy your pedi. If you choose the basic they make you feel like your wasting their time....... it really isn't a pleasant experience when you feel like your a number and not a client. Now, I just received a $40.00 mani because I wanted a fill. A fill that turned into popping off all my nails. So I asked if I could just get gel nails. The lady who did my nails was very sweet, but I was told getting the "natural nail" would last longer vs gel. So I went with it. It is now day 3 and all my nails are cracking. They look horrible and now I feel like they need to be done AGAIN because they look so bad. Not only did I not get my fill I got something that was "supposed to be better" that looks like crap! Walked in at around 2 PM the place was empty I quickly got sat for a manicure, the lady started working on me, the place started to get more people walking in and the lady doing my nails started rushing everything, didn't even file my nails or anything. Rudely asked what color I wanted and when I showed her an inspiration picture she goes to move her head and say no. like i'm paying you to do this??? and you're not going to do what I kindly am asking for. she then said she could do multiple colors for 15$ more. My gel manicure took about 20 minutes. I wasn't even out of my chair yet and she was already taking another client. Okay. First time here. Thought it could be better especially with how pricey they are. Paid double what I usually do for a pedi and walked out not happy. Polish was a mess she didn't even clean it up afters. Flower she did was okay. When I first sat down and put my feet in the water was freezing! I do like how they put the bags in the tub so you know it's clean. I asked her to warm the water more. She did but it was still just okay. Could have been a lot warmer. On Friday September 20th, around 9:30 AM, I went in for a Manicure/Pedicure with my Step-Mother. I had just regular nail polish applied, protected by a layer of clear coat and sat 12 minutes under the dryer for my hands. By early evening the polish had started to chip. I called the salon and they invited me back for a touch up the next morning. Saturday morning around 10:30 AM I went in for a touch up, this time protected by two coats of clear coat and 20+ minutes under the dryer. Again, by early evening my polish had started to chip. After each appointment I allowed an additional hour for the polish to set before working on anything that could damage the polish. This manicure was for a friend's morning wedding on Sunday the 22nd, and I did not have time to go in for an additional touch up prior. When I called up the Salon to request a refund of half the cost to my step-mother, as this was a gift to me, they refused stating they do not do refunds. There was an offer to return for a touch up, however the event I needed the manicure for was over and by experience, spending 30 minutes at the salon for an 8 hour manicure at best is not high on the list from a customer satisfaction standpoint. BE WARNED. If you get a regular polish and anything chips, even within mere hours of your manicure, the salon will refuse to refund and try to upsell you on a more expensive manicure. If they are unable to stand behind their work, and know this product is faulty, they should not offer it. From other reviews I have seen the same issue and it saddens me that a manicure couldn't even last 12 hours. read more

Horrible, -10. Shity customer service, not relaxing and very rushed. For $64 I expected to some what enjoy my mani/pedi. My son could do a better job than them. My cuticles are sore and red, polish uneven, toes cut uneven, the shellac is painted all over my cuticles and on my skin, my nails are rough and the shellac is already lifting. I got there at 11:20am to have a manicure with shellac and a upgraded pedicure. At 1150am I was asked to get out of the chair (even though there were plenty other empty ones) for another customer to have service since I was done and my toes where "dry enough" after 2 minutes of air dry. Save your money and avoid this place like the plague. Or throw $64 in the trash, that is equivalent to having services provided here. I will be reporting Queen Bee to the Cosmetology Licensing Board. read more

Pros - Fairly consistent, clean, nice professional product line (scrubs, etc.) lots of chairs and well staffed to keep wait times down. Variety of colors (but I usually bring my own), fun nail art choices, sometimes they do mani and pedi at the same time which for me is great because it saves time. Idon't feel like they push the "upsell." For example, I hate the parafin treatment anywhere, and they don't seem to push too hard when I let them know this. I also like that, for the most part, the techs talk to the customers and not eahother, which is annoying. Cons - When getting a mani and pedi at the same time, it can be uncomfortable. For example reaching across so the manicurist can do the other hand. It would be better if he or she would come around to the other side for a more relaxing customer experience. read more

I felt rushed. And on top of that she made me bleed. I actually bled a lot and the tech did not even use gloves to control my bleeding. She used her bare hands. She did not even file my nails after cutting it.. so it's all uneven. Also... the paint job is ridiculous. It's not even up to the cuticles.. looks like it's "due" for a pedicure instead. Lol. I have never had an issue with Queen Bee until today. I went in for a manicure and waiting for the nail techincian for a good 5 minutes so he can get set up after his lunch. He has asked me if I wanted a full set to which I told him politely it was just a manicure. He didn't seemed pleased with that, he just grabbed my hands didn't bother asking me what type of manicure (since they offer 3 different types of manicures) roughly handled my hands and didn't speak with me until he asked me if i wanted a buff to my nails which what I understood was to keep the nail polish longer. I agreed and he opened up a bit, he buffed my nails and then ushered me out of the nail salon. I paid and i realized I just paid for a nail job I could have done at home. I walked back in to have polish done on my nails which was what I orginally wanted and told the front desk clerk that my nails were too plain and I needed nail polish. I grabbed the color I orginally wanted and was rushed to my original nail techician who not only rushed the process but was so rude about me wanting color on my nails. I"m sorry thats what I had orginially came for if he would have just listened or asked he would have known what I wanted. I waited for my nails to dry and was so upset about the situation. He made me feel as if me wanting my manicure was such a burden. I came for this tranquil experiance and he treated me like a burden. Upon inspection of my nails it was such a poorly done job that my 2 year old nephew would have done a better job. I feel really bad giving this place a bad review. I really wanted to like this place after having a horrible experience at la belle in Manteca. First time there was okay just did a regular fill. Second time there I got a full set and pedicure with gel cost me 110.00. The person who did my nails did not do them even and get gel down the side of my nail and the paint on my toe the white French part wore off in one week and my nails started lifting after about 9 days. I went back after two weeks for a full and for them to fix my toes and still walked out with uneven nails not to mention the gel bubbled up four times and they had to keep reprinting and drying finally I got frustrated and excepted the bad thumb nail and left. I love the pedicures! It's the only place I go to in San Joaquin Valley. In my experience, all of the younger ladies do excellent work on cuticles and toenail shaping. The pedicures can last me over a month, which is a phenomenal value. When the older ladies worked on me, they each made my toenail cuticles bleed from snipping live skin. Ouch! I agree with other reviews I read, in that they are kinda expensive and mostly non-interpersonal. There are 3 price levels of pedicure, and the most expenisve comes with an optional $5 manicure upgrade. I always get the cheapest at $24, which includes polish, massage, and hot towel. Worst mistake, no friendly greeting, ignored my question on how long it would take, and it smelled horrible. It's way overpriced and not the spa quality, I am used to in the bay area. The nail polishes are watery from the acetone they add as the polishes get old and dry, luckily I brought my own. I ended up with just a pedicure because it took to long for me to get service. The second to last time, the nail lady was arguing with other employees and the nail drill left my hands with too many nicks.
