    Full gel set ($35)
    Natalie K.

Came here a few more times and almost every time I've come I've had extremely rude service by the lady that sits close to the front door, not sure what her name was. She made snarky comments when I told her what I wanted and would then talk to the other workers in a different language and laugh. Just kinda ruined the experience every time. The workstations are dusty and messy, and all of the workers seem very disorganized concerning appointment scheduling. The nails themselves were alright, but I didn't ever get anything fancy so I can't attest to the shop's quality very well. One of the ladies seemed really nice and attentive so it's unfortunate that one or two ladies ruin it for them all, but overall this place doesn't seem great.

    Gel manicure. Cost:$45

I went initially looking for Alan, who's my go to mail guy. I was super busy over the past year and haven't done my nails in about that long. I text him and he told me to come in. He forgot to tell me that he changed locations. When I got to La Queen, they informed me, he had moved. I asked for a gel powder dip service. "Absolutely. we do. Nancy do for you." Cool I thought. I gotta ask Alan where he's at now. Anyways , all goes smooth until I notice there is no powder on the table. I ask her your going to do a gel powder dip right? She says yes. Then another young lady comes to do my design. Which was $5 for each mail. Expensive for mediocre work honestly. Anyways, after she finishes one nail, I look at her and say "I'm confused. Do you dip in the powder after your done?" She says "powder?" And I said "yes." She looked confused. She says you wanted full st of powder... and again confirm yes, and I mention I asked her twice. Honestly, I'd never go there again unless it's for gel. The gel work was okay. No cuticle remover was used. Half ass oiling and massage .

Simple red tips but all my nails came out crooked and uneven!

I went with my sister all got a basic design. Prices range from $30 to $60 My nails cost $60 !!!!! Jenny was is a hurry and kept messing up and had to redo my nails twice ! Kept asking each other how much to charge on each and every client. Never going back. Don't not waste your money on this place. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TRYING A NEW PLACE

Shape and thickness is perfect, even on my crooked fingers

Came in to get a full set and Alan was the awesome nail tech who helped me. He took the time to soak my nails to get the dip powder off easier, that stuff is a pain. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something new so I got a coffin shape, Alan did so amazing at making sure they were even and the same length and nothing was crooked or uneven, I really appreciate that because lots of places don't care and it ends up driving me nuts. His acrylic it's nice and smooth and the perfect thickness, not bulky like what happens a lot. I will definitely be returning here to see him again!

Look at the uneven paint job

I use to love coming here. But this last trip left me beyond disappointed. Not only did the nails look terrible they are already popping off after 4 days that's just ridiculous. I paid way too much for the product I received. I was ripped off completely. I don't think I'll be coming back.

TINA!!!! By far the best nail tech I've met so far! She's very professional and topped with the perfect amount of funny and witty! She's always open to trying out new designs. 10/10

We aren't from the area.. my daughter and I found this place on line we will definitely be coming back if we come this way again

Pictures don't even do justice to show how horrible the paint job is. Very bumpy and uneven coating

I went here today to treat my mom with a pedicure and myself, a full gel set manicure. Before coming, I looked through their Yelp gallery and all the pictures posted were very promising. I was looking forward coming to this nail salon but, the end result was not what my mom and I expected. I will break down my review in two parts: Customer service and quality/pricing. Customer Service: 2/5 Once we arrived, we were not greeted very friendly but at the time, I let it pass since all the techs (two at the time) were all working on customers. During my experience, all I have to say is that these nail techs lack personality and are quite rude. Especially, the tech working on my mom's feet. I was not even half way done through my manicure and when I turned my head to check on my mom, I see that she was already finished. Not even 10 minutes. Whoever the lady was working on her pedicure, she did a sloppy and lazy job. We specifically asked for the most basic gel pedicure. If my mom wanted to soak her feet in the bathroom sink for 5 minutes and put lotion on her calves, she could have done it herself. As for me, the person who took care of me was a male. I did not really have much issues with him.. He asked the basics, what shape and color I wanted, etc. but other than that, it was probably the most boring experience having to watch him sit so quietly. Quality/Pricing: 1.5/5 Coming from the Bay Area, it has been very hard finding a real good nail salon in Manteca that could reach the same standards. I reallyy wanted to like La'Queen but, we were just not happy walking out of the salon. Not only was the customer service so bland, but their work is not even worth the prices they charge. I expected to get a regular gel set with at least a smooth coating but, unfortunately left with a crooked thumb nail, very bumpy nail beds and air bubbles. They charged me $40 for a full gel set, $25 for a "regular" pedicure. With tip, I spent a little over $70. And I really did not want to tip. Because of the pandemic though, I only felt obligated to.

The best nail salon in Manteca as far as I'm concerned. I always end up with beautiful nails and I let Tina do whatever she wants to do.

This was an emergency I couldn't wait 2 weeks for him to come back so Tina at Busy Bee was avaliable at first I was super nervous to have someone else do my nails but Tina was awesome. I have been here 4 times now because she is that good: *She made sure she was doing the style I requested *she was super cool with doing LONG nails nails *she is not afraid to try new techniques *she has not once hesitated about my color choices. (I love black acrylic, but it makes a big mess some places won't do it or say black nails will be ugly) *she is not hesitant on using flat matt top coat *she has fit me in last minute for a quick wax *she has been able to fit my grandma in for a pedicure when I brought her in *the shop is cute *lots of colors, stickers designs, foil, jewels, geode style, and tons more. I really do appreciate Busy Bee for being so nice, for making sure I get what I requested, and for having competitive $$ prices. My nail guy is ready to retire in a few months so I am very happy I found such an awesome replacement for him. I got no designs so there wasn't alot of room for error, they were perfect. & their pricing is reasonable! The reason for my three star rating is they do not take card and have an ATM machine INSIDE for you to take cash out to pay. I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. I'm not 100% sure why many of these nail places hate taking card. I really didn't want to pull cash out when I can just pay with card. I mentioned this to the nail tech and she responded that it was better for her if I can pay with cash. I didn't like her response. I didn't mind paying a fee associated with the card vs me taking cash out from an ATM that wasn't associated with my bank. When I did a soak off I noticed the nail tech was heavy handed and left "rings of fire" on my nails. But other than that her work was great, they stayed on for about 2-3 weeks.

I arrived about 25mins early and since it wasn't crowded at the time, they were able to get me right in. Hana (I believe that's how she spelled her name!) made sure to check in with me a number of times to ensure color, design, general nail were good to go, which I appreciate. Sometimes at nail salons it gets past the point of being able to fix without starting over so it's helpful to have someone that's actually checking in. When I go back in for my pre-vacation set, I'll be booking with her. I was a bit surprised at the $77 price tag for a fill, but in fairness, I did not look at a price in advance nor did I bother to ask, so I'm not sure how much of it came from the fill itself and how much of it was, the rhinestones added to the nails. Next set won't have the rhinestones by default so we shall see! I'm happy with her final product. :-)

(Though sitting there for so long I did notice a cluster of spiders on the ceiling with missing light fixtures) Tony came to get me. When I sat down I told him I wanted a spa manicure with massage and scrub and wax, but that I cannot have gel polish as I am allergic to the UV light (I'm allergic to the sun hence no UV) he said ok. He proceeds with the usual soak and cuticle trimming. Then he says he'll do the massage after the polish and he proceeds to set up to do gel polish. I remind him, I am allergic to UV so I cannot have gel. So then he slaps some lotion on my arms, barely rubs not even for a minute and wipes off with a towel, never getting any on my hands. Then he sloppily painted my nails (very few color options if I don't get gel apparently) so I just got black, which he applied sloppily. He then wrote out my ticket, told me thank you and proceeded to go on to another client who wanted a pedicure and told me to stay in front of the fan till nails dry (while waiting for my nails to dry, I noticed more missing light fixtures and peeling paint on the ceiling) No massage, no scrub, no paraffin dip. I paid $27 (no tip as it was most definitely not deserved) for something I could have just done at home. I was really looking forward to some pampering as I have been taking care of my parents and working full time. I am very disappointed and hope the salon will redeem themselves if I decide to return

I was hoping to stumble across a pedi and a glass wine like at my normal spot (don't judge me) but didn't seem to find any. Reviews seemed to indicate this was a prime spot to stop, so I decided to check it out. It was a quiet afternoon in Fashion so they were able to get me in last minute for both a pedicure and new set. It wasn't the most comfortable or relaxing pedicure I've ever had, but the end result turned out fine in terms of the paint job. As for my nails, I do appreciate corrections that were quickly made when I asked, but I do wish that nail techs in general would speak up early if shown a design that they aren't quite sure they can execute. I'm one that comes in with back up plans just in case, but the color scheme is usually different. So once they say they can do it I'm committed to that design. The one I got was OK... And I did tell him good enough when he asked, but because I knew that was pretty much where we were. I don't dislike it, which is why I didn't go through the trouble of having him try again... But I'm not in love with it. When it came to the painting, it kind of felt like the job started being rushed due to an unhappy customer they were trying to get to. Overall I'd rate the experience a 3.5. Not bad, just not something that would have me running back and committed to this location.
